It's over, it's really over. I just want to thank all my fans who wrote to me, and gave me support and ideas through out the story. You all know who you are. And I want to say that it has been a great few months. Writing this story was great for me, it's the best story I've ever written, and I'm sure it will only help me get better.
Now for the final chapter of Love Interest -
Five months later
"Stop it!" A few minutes passed with the same action going on, and no words exchanged. "I'm serious, this is important."
"KNOCK IT OFF!" A loud voice boomed through the small room. The two fooling around stopped. The other three men in the room silenced their small chatter, and gazed up at the older man with holding the attention of the room.
"Sorry." Justin and Josh both apologized silently, knocking off their fooling around.
"You two are about to do something serious. It could end your careers, and in a sense your lives. And you two are acting like it isn't even important." Jonny Wright the manager of NSYNC let out his opinion, putting Justin and Josh in their places.
"We know, we know." Josh muttered, hating it when he was told what to do. Justin on the hand, sat still, not saying anything. While Josh had been tickling him and playing with him, he had forgotten what they were about to do. He had forgotten that his life was going to be hanging on the line if a few minutes.
"Now quit fooling around, and get dressed." And that was it, Jonny was out of the door. Joey, Chris, and Lance sat silent, while Josh stood to grab outfits for himself and Justin. Meanwhile Justin sat in his seat, silent, but even more silent then his bandmates. He made no movements, and his eyes stayed shut.
"Here baby, put these on." Josh tossed Justin a pair of slacks and a nice button up shirt. Justin stood and slid out of his other clothes. He felt no embarrassment to do it in front of his friends, they had all seen each other naked, so underwear wasn't a big deal.
He put on the clothes he was given with out any hesitation, and he made as little noise as possible.
"Are you guys ready?" A young woman, a familiar pr to the group entered the room. Everyone but Justin turned their attention to Josh who shook his head yes. "Alright, when ever you're ready just come on out." And with that she was gone and the door was shut.
"Justin, ya know we don't have to do this if you don't want to." Josh turned to his husband, and squeezed his hand tight to show him support.
"I do, I'm just nervous." Justin admitted, and gripped the hand really tight. Josh himself wanted to do this, but looking at his husband made him regret it. He could tell that Justin was only holding strong because he knew it would be even worse if he broke down.
"Then let's go, the sooner we get this over with the better." Josh stood, and helped Justin to his feet. Hand in hand they walked out of the room, Joey, Lance, and Chris following close behind.
"Wait, wait!" Turning they saw two young ladies, and smiles crossed their faces.
"Brit, Chrissy!" Justin turned, his sadness faded for that mere second, as the two friends rushed to him.
"We had to be here for you guys, you need our support." And with Brittney's words Justin felt the sadness return to him, but he was glad that he did have their support. He did need all that he could get.
"Alright folks, I have a special treat today, something that we didn't have listed because it just happened a few hours ago. My guests for the day, NSYNC, Brittney Spears, and Christina Aguilera." Rosie O'Donnel's audience went wild with the mention of the names, as they all walked onto stage.
Everyone took their seats, Justin and Josh closest to Rosie, and Brittney next to Justin.
"I hear two of you have an announcement for the show today? And that's why you're here." Rosie winked at the group and then at the audience, which got a loud reaction. "Let's not wait, just spill it."
"Um, well, we promised that when ever it happened we would let everyone know on the Rosie show, so here we are today." Josh spoke up first, but he wasn't divulging into the real secret he was about to share.
"That's not really helpful bro, why don't you just tell 'em?" Joey teased from behind Josh, and got a laugh from the audience.
"Yeah, we're all waiting." Rosie added. Justin tensed up slightly, and he knew he couldn't grab onto Josh for support until they had told the secret, so he sat patiently, holding his arm rest tightly.
"Well, I'm now a married man." Josh replied, starting out the secret slowly. Rosie gasped, she had already known their secret, and looking over quickly to see the ring on Justin's hand, she only confirmed her assumption.
"And is your lucky one on stage?" Rosie asked with anxiousness to hear the truth.
"Yeah, he is." The crowd gasped when Josh said 'he'. But Josh wasted no time in grabbing Justin's hand, and holding it tight. The camera zoomed in on their hands, catching rings on both of them.
The gasps died down, and soon the audience turned into cheers and claps. Justin smiled brightly, and Josh squeezed his hand showing him support like he had done earlier.
"I'm happy for you two. But to tell ya the truth, I didn't think you would honor that promise." Rosie said.
"I didn't think we would be honoring it either. But after we got married, we didn't want to hide anymore. We want to be able to hold each other's hands in public with out people questioning it. Whether or not we lose fans because of it won't bother us." Josh explained calmly, he had been preparing to say that for a week, since they had decided to do this.
"Well, is their anything you two want to say to your fans? Ya know, to hope that they don't abandon you and and your music." Rosie asked an intriguing question, and Josh thought quickly.
"Yeah, I just want them to know that I love Justin, and if they can't see through that, then they weren't fans in the first place."
The audience members cheered in response to Josh's words, and silence to wait and here what Justin would say.
"Um, I love Josh too, and I guess everything he said is the only thing we can say."
Josh could sense that Justin wasn't really comfortable on stage at the moment. But it didn't matter they were together.
Love had brought them together, love had kept them together, and love gave them the strength they needed to get through everything that they had been through.
It was short, I know. But I didn't want to make it long, I wanted it to end nicely, but quickly.
I want to thank everyone again for supporting me through this story.
Also, I just want to hope that you all read my new story, which will be coming out on December 20th. I haven't thought of a name yet, so just look for a new story on the 20th.
Thanks, and see ya around.
