I have written many gay/bisexual stories and would welcome any feedback. This particular story "Archie" is a Victorian Occult fantasy. It is available for the Kindle on Amazon. It is slower-paced than some of my gay novels and details the homoerotic friendship between two young, virgin men in Victorian society, who do not yet realise they are homosexual, but nevertheless develop a strong, intimate, adult friendship.
So this time, don't expect explicit gay fiction, but hopefully you will enjoy the more naive, homoerotic descriptions.
This is the last of the free parts of this novel. The next freebies will be from a more explicit novel.

Archie Chapter 3 – Glorious Times at Bottlebury
The morning broke warm and sunny. I dressed in my loose shirt and coarse brown trousers, prepared for country walking.
Breakfast was a casual affair. Percy was vivacious and gay. He was dressed in a blousy, loose fitting shirt and tweed trousers. I couldn't fail to notice how they clung to his muscular thighs.
As we left the house promptly at ten of the clock, Frederick came running out of the house calling to us "Let me come with you!"
Percy raised his eyebrows in exasperation. "Let him come!" I said. "He's a nice boy."
"But that's the problem, he's such a child!" Percy said.
"I thought we too were forever boys too!" I said.
"But we are grown boys, he's still such a childish boy!" He whispered, with a laugh, as Frederick drew near.
We both giggled at his foolish words. Freddie jogged up to us, happy to be joining us big boys.
"Don't you have Prep to do, Freddie, before you go back to boarding school?" Percy asked his brother.
"Miss Holmes says I can do it this afternoon, so I can play with you this morning!" Frederick said.
"We are not playing, we are having an adult stroll to help Percy find some suitable views to paint" Percy corrected him.
So off we strolled through the wonderful estate, towards the lake. Soon we were climbing trees and inspecting the reeds by the lake, like three boys on a summer adventure.
Around the far side of the lake there was the most tremendous sight of the Manor across from the lake and framed with magnificent oak trees. "This would do wonderfully as a subject for a fine painting!" I said.
"We will come here directly after luncheon!" Percy declared and ran over to a sturdy oak, jumping up with one hand and athletically ascending into the branches. I ran after him and joyfully joined him in an ascent. High up in the branches we looked through the leaves at the Manor. Percy's breath was strong and hearty, his limbs pressing firmly against the branches. My body was copying his and we smiled in an understanding of the pleasure we gave each other over our physical prowess.
"I can't reach that first branch." Frederick complained from the ground below. His two or three inches less than Percy and I meant the boy could not get a purchase to start an ascent.
Percy raised his eyebrows and whispered "children!" but his smile was pleasant and indulgent.
"We can't leave him out!" I declared and started my descent out of the branches. I could hear Percy's body descending through the branches behind me.
I sat on the final branch that was out of Frederick's reach and contemplated the six feet jump to the ground. Frederick stepped back to clear my fall and I slipped my bottom off the branch and cushioned my knees as my feet hit the ground.
"You're really athletic, Archie" Freddie said admiringly.
"Is it safe to jump?" Percy's voice called down and I looked up to see him sitting on the same branch.
"Certainly, just let yourself slip off and bend your knees Percy" I said, but my friend hesitated.
"I'll help." I said and reached up to clasp his dangling feet. "Just let yourself go and I'll lift you down." I said.
Percy smiled and I wrapped my arms around his calves and clutched his legs to my upper chest. Percy levered his bottom onto the edge of the branch and I held his legs firmly as he slipped off the branch. Strongly and softly I let his body slip through my arms while I clutched him to me, my face perforce snuggling against his strong thighs. My face rubbed up over the crotch of his trousers and over his shirt while I held my friend and felt his body rub down my own, until his feet met the ground and his face met mine.
For a moment we smiled and I held his body, aware that the crotches of our trousers were meeting in friendly contact. "Lift me up, Archie" Frederick's voice piped up and we let each other go.
"Certainly!" I said and turned to young Freddie. I lifted him from behind, launching his body up so his hands could grasp the branch. I steadied his feet, but young Frederick was a strong boy and he easily lifted his body up and cocked a leg over the branch.
"Careful not to spoil your trousers" Percy declared his brotherly concern, as we watched the lad climb the other branches just as we had done.
Clearly the young boy wanted to show we did not best him in skill and strength even if we did in height. Percy watched his brother with pride and admiration for his brother's prowess.
"Come down now Freddie." Percy called up to his disappearing brother. "It's time we returned home for lunch."
"Oh!" said Frederick, in protest, but we watched his feet and legs reappear from out of the branches.
Soon Frederick was sitting on the bottom branch dangling his feet.
Percy stepped forward and clasped his brother and the two siblings embraced intimately as Percy lowered his brother. There was something most charming to watch about Percy's care with his brother, to see Percy's strength and support and Frederick's perfect trust and carefree slide down the front of his brother's body.
The two embraced as his feet touched the earth just as Percy and I had embraced.
"Thanks Percy!" Frederick said. He clearly saw his older brother as his hero
Percy ruffled his brother's head affectionately and the brothers parted.
"Archie! Isn't the view up there fantastic!" Freddie said as he came over to me, clearly proud that he'd equalled our climbing technique.
Gaily, the three of us set off to make our way around the lake and back to the Manor.
