Life's Journey
**Chapter 10
**
Uncle Sam
Suddenly I looked again. Yes, it was him. That cute waiter. I looked down at him and then it hit me.
"Get the fuck off of me." I yelled.
He jumped up and looked at me with fear in his face. "I-I-I thought you liked it."
"I was asleep you little shit. I thought your were Sean. What the hell do you think you are doing in our room."
He looked at me with a sad, fearful look on his face.
"Just get your ass out of our room and don't ever come in here again." I yelled.
His eyes dropped to the floor and he left the room. As he walked through the door, I could see his butt outlined in his pants. "Oh shit he has a cute butt" I thought to myself. He was cute all over from what I could tell. I got out of bed, slipped on a robe and went down stairs to see if I could find Sean. I looked all over the house for him but he was not there. I decided some coffee was in order and headed back to the kitchen. I poured a cup of coffee and was looking for the creamer when I saw a note on the fridge.
"David, we have taken Sean shopping with us. You were sleeping so soundly that we didn't want to wake you. We should be back home by 10. Hugs Sam"
Well, that answers that question. But why was the boy here and no one else? I was standing there trying to figure out what to do about the little troublemaker when I felt someone standing behind me. I slowly turned around and there he was again.
"What the fuck do you want."
"I-I j-just w-wanted to apologize. I shouldn't have done what I did, b-but David, you are so damn cute that I-I couldn't help myself. The moment I saw you I almost dropped the dinner tray I was carrying. Oh shit, I think I went about this all wrong." He said, tears starting to run down his face as he turned and ran out of the room.
"Hey, wait a minute." I yelled at his retreating back. He didn't stop and I didn't run after him. I was still a little mad about what he had done. But actually it was really nice. I am going to have to talk to Sam about what happened. No! I'll talk to Sean first. There is one thing that I will never do and that is keep anything from Sean, maybe he will have an idea of what we can do about our little waiter boy.
I sat at the table thinking about how our lives had changes in such a short time. Every time I thought about how close both of us came to being killed, it made my stomach queasy with fear. The truck hitting us both and then that asshole with the baseball bat. I would love to get my hands on him.
I was shaking, I was so mad. "Ok David, control yourself. All of that is in the past, nothing you can do about it now. Just think about the future. You have Sean now and he will be with you forever." I said to myself.
"HELLO? ANYBODY HOME?" Someone yelled.
"YEAH, IN HERE." I yelled back.
I heard footsteps and saw Sam and Sean carrying shopping bags into the kitchen. "David, you should have been with us. Shopping at a grocery store full of other gay guys like us is so much fun." He said enthusiastically. "They were all over the place. Guys shopping together. Discussing what they were going to buy for what meal. It was really neat, you'll have to go next time."
"That's great Sean, just wake me up next time." I replied.
"What's wrong David?" He asked.
"Nothing, I just haven't had my coffee yet."
"That explains it. I'll take care of that right now." Sean said as he went to get me my first cup of coffee.
I drank the coffee and started to wake up a bit more. Sam and Sean put the groceries away and Sam told us he had some things to do. "I'll be gone for a few hours. I have some business to take care of. You guys make yourselves at home."
After he left I told Sean what had happened.
"When I woke up and saw it was him, I came unglued. I yelled at him. Told him to get the fuck out of our room and to never come back. I thought about telling Sam but I don't really want him to get fired over this."
I thought Sean would be really pissed about this but he started laughing.
"That is so funny. There you were getting a blow job and you ran the guy off? That is really something. I would have loved to seen it. Poor little kid. He probably thinks that you are going to get him fired. He is probably up stairs packing his stuff right now."
"I though you would be pissed about this, Sean. I mean the guy was trying to have sex with me."
"Hell, David. I know that you love me and that is all that really matters. The kid is infatuated with you. Hell, that makes me proud. Proud that you have chosen me to love. How can I be mad about that?" He asked.
"Well, I guess you are right, but what do I do about it? I mean he didn't quite do the right thing. Sneaking into our room and sucking my penis. Not even asking if I would be interested. Not that I really objected because he is kind of cute." I blushed.
"I think you should go up and talk to him. Tell him that you aren't going to tell Sam. Also talk to him about his feelings for you. You never know what is going through that kids mind."
"Ok, Sean. If you think that is the right thing to do." I replied as I got up from the table. "Where is his room?"
"Its down the hall from ours on the left." Sean answered.
"And just how do you know that?"
"Oh, I get up at night and go visit him. He is really a lot of fun."
"YOU BASTARD YOU. Nowonderyouaresoopenaboutthiswholething, sneakingaroundonmelikethatandIthoughyoulovedme.WellI'lltellyousomething............"
"DAVID, I WAS JOKING WITH YOU!!!" He yelled.
"Oh, Sorry."
I went upstairs and found his room. I knocked on the door but I didn't get a response. I could hear sobbing. I tried the door handle and it was unlocked. I opened the door just enough so I could see in. He was lying on the bed. His head buried in his arms. I could hear him crying. Oh, shit. I had hurt him and hurt him bad too.
I walked into the room and over to the bed. I reached down and placed my hand on his shoulder. He jumped, frightened because he hadn't heard me come into the room. He looked at me realizing who I was.
"David, I am really sorry about what I did. Can you ever forgive me? Please?" He begged.
"Hey, I am sorry that I yelled at you. The whole thing just surprised me is all. Now why are you crying? I am not going to tell Sam about what happened."
"Y-your not?"
"No, I'm not. So quit the crying and lets talk. Ok?"
"Yeah, ok." He said as he sat up and dried the tears from his face.
"Look, I don't know why you did that, it was not the way to come on to someone. You have to flirt a little first. Find out if the other guy is the least bit interested before you put the moves on him." I explained.
"I know. Its-Its just that you are so beautiful. I couldn't help myself."
"Oh shit. I'm not beautiful."
"You are to me. You are the man that I have been dreaming about of all my life. You are him, that I have no doubt."
"Are you sure? You know, I don't even know your name?" I asked.
"Oh, sorry. I'm Marc. Marc Goodwin."
"I'm glad to meet you..................Oh shit."
"Yeah, I'm your cousin."
"Why were you serving us like a hired hand then? I don't understand."
"Because I lost a bet with Dad. I bet Dad that I could get a job at this really fancy restaurant downtown. He told me that I couldn't because I didn't have enough experience. Well to make a long story short, I didn't get the job and my part of the bet was to serve dinner for the next month, just like a waiter. I was to act like a waiter and be treated like a waiter for the whole month." He explained.
"Wow, that's rough. But Uncle Sam didn't tell me that he had a son."
"That is another long story. Dad and my mother were friends. They both wanted kids but since my Dad is gay and my mother was a Lesbian, well, they decided to have a child and here I am."
"You keep saying "was" about your mother, why?" I asked.
"My mother died in child birth. She gave her life for me."
"I'm sorry Marc. That is rough."
"It's ok. I have accepted it as an act of nature. That is one thing that Dad taught me early on. Don't blame myself for my mother's death. I know that it could have been any child, not just me."
"That's good Marc. Sam is a great guy. I have loved him since I found him. He is a lot like my mother. I just want to know why he didn't tell us about you?"
"Well, that part is strange. For some reason my Dad thinks that if anyone knew that a gay man was raising a son, they would take me away from him. Now that I have discovered that I am gay also, he thinks it would be worse. Like he turned me into a homosexual. Such stupidity does exist out there. So, only the immediate family knows, now you, since you are now a part of the family."
"This is awesome. I have a cousin too. But wait a minute! You were trying to have sex with me and I'm your cousin. That just doesn't seem right."
"David, what should it matter? Why is it wrong? The only reason that law is in effect is because of genetics. Two people closely related have children, they stand a real good chance of have a deformed child. Now, what chance is there of either of us getting pregnant?" He asked.
"Ok! Ok, you've got me there." I said laughing.
We laughed about that one for a while. He did make sense though. The more I talked to him the more I liked him. Cousin or not, he was a really nice guy and cute as hell. He told me more about his life with my uncle. He wasn't as young as I though he was. He was already 17. He looked about 15 though.
"Yeah, I'll be 18 in six months. There are a lot of teenagers out there what can't wait until they are 18 so they will be on their own, but I have had such a good life with my family that I don't want to leave. Not that I have to though, but I know that Dad is going to give me more responsibilities. That I am not looking forward to. Shit, I want to stay 17 the rest of my life. I am having too much fun to grow up." He said solemnly.
I couldn't resist any longer. I leaned over and kissed Marc on the lips. A deep, passionate kiss. He melted in my arms as my tongue entered his mouth. Our tongues explored each other's mouth's, the passion building. I was loosing control and I couldn't let that happen. At least not yet. I pulled back from Marc and looked into his eyes. He had tears running down his face, but not from fear this time. I could see in his eyes that he really loved me. The same love that I saw in Sean's eyes when he looked at me. This was getting out of hand and I was very confused. How could I fall in love with someone else? I have Sean, I don't need anyone else.
"I-I'm sorry Marc. I don't know what came over me." I apologized.
"David, there is nothing to be sorry about." He replied.
"Marc, I am in love with Sean. We have been through so much together, we are bonded like no one else can be. We are in love. I don't think I can love someone else like that. It is too hard, too hard to even think about."
Now it was my turn to cry. I knew that I loved Marc already. It was like instant love. Love at first kiss or something like that. The more I looked at him the more I fell in love with him. Shit, what am I going to do. I need to talk to Sean. I jumped up and ran out of the room. Down the stairs calling out for Sean.
"SEAN! SEAN WHERE ARE YOU?"
"SSSEEEEAAAAANNNNNN!!!!!!"
"David, what's wrong?"
"Sean we need to talk."
"Sure David, what about?"
"Not here. Let's go to our room, this is serious."
We went to our room. I closed and locked the door. I walked Sean to the bed and wrapped my arms around him. "Sean, I love you."
"I know you do David and I love you too. Now tell me what is going on?"
I started out by telling him that Marc was my cousin. He was as surprised as I was. Then I tried to tell him how I felt about Marc.
"Well, Marc told me that I was the man of his dreams. That he was in love with me. Sean, I am so confused, I don't know what to do."
"I think it is cute David."
"What do you mean, CUTE?"
"Well, Marc falling in love with you."
"The part that I didn't tell you is I think I am falling in love with him too." I blurted it out. Now I would find out what he really thought about it.
Sean sat there with a stunned look on his face. He slowly got up and started toward the door.
"Sean, talk to me about this. I need you now. I need to know how you feel. I would never do anything to hurt you. I love you Sean. I love you like no one else in this world could. That is the reason that I told you all about this." I pleaded.
"David, I need to think this out. I don't have an answer for you right now." He said as he unlocked the door and walked out of the room.
