It was now two weeks later and Colin and I had spent most of the summer together, surfing the net and swimming in the pool. The first day of school was tomorrow and I couldn't wait became we'd promised each other the same classes for the whole day, for the first semester. My mother called us the twins since we were better friends than anyone she had ever known. If I wasn't at his house, he was at mine. We were always together.
"Hey," I heard Colin's voice calling after me, as I went back into my house, after a day of golf at the Venus Fields about a mile down the road, I had gone with my mother, and she had already gone inside. The sky was a pale dark blue, because the sun had just set.
"Hey, Colin what's up?" I asked. He was sort of walking, sort of jogging across the cul-de-sac street towards me. His straight hair was swimming behind him like a short, really short, cape.
"Nothing, much, where were you? I was looking for you today! I went school shopping by myself today. Are you ready for school tomorrow?" He said out of breath.
"Yeah, I'm ready..." I said, "I think."
"Oh, that's cool, I guess I'll see you tomorrow?"
"Yeah, I think! Hey...wait, do you want to come over and stay over tonight," I suggested.
"Whoa, that's like way cool." Colin said excitedly, "but I gotta go home and tell my mom and get my stuff."
"Alright, you can just come in, you're always welcome, in my house. You don't have to knock."
We walked in our separate directions and I got to my house do and turned to see Colin going inside of his house. I opened the door, and my mother said, "Are you ready for school tomorrow?"
"Yeah, couldn't be more! Colin's staying over tonight, is that alright?"
"Yep, it's fine, he can stay over when ever ha wants!"
I ran up the stairs to my room adjusting the sleeves on my Abercrombie tee. I felt like I had just invited an angel to come over my house. Colin had the greenest hazel eyes and the sexiest blonde hair. Whenever he swung that long hair over his shoulder he gave me goose bumps. I screamed inside every time I saw him. I plopped on my bed and thought about how freaking hot this guy was. I wanted to take him and just...
I heard him bounding up the stairs to my room and I quickly dropped that state of mind. "Hey," I said before he had even entered the room.
"What's up," he asked.
"Nothing much. My mom and I went to the golf fields down the road about a mile, for the day..." I explained. I watched him drop his clothing on my bed; pair of underwear, socks, and pants- were they Ezra Fitch, and a Volcom white shirt. Regular stuff, too like a toothbrush, hair comb, and face-wash.
"So what are you doing after school tomorrow," I asked, SI might be going to the McDonalds in the next town over."
"If you want I'll go too. I can't go anywhere else because I don't have a car. I can't get one until the end of this year. We've been looking at this blue Audi, since this last year." Colin told me.
"It's all good, you can go with me, I have no other friends but you to go with anyway, so it's not like I'll ditch you. You know... you're cool." I said, straying from what I was about to say, `you're hot.'
I shifted on the bed and then got up. On my way to my bathroom I asked him, "Oh wait, are you going to sleep on the floor? It's fine, if you want to sleep on the bed, it's king sized. It's fine if you don't want to, I've got an aero bed, I could put out."
"It's fine, I'll sleep in the bed. I don't bite!" Colin joked.
Oh shit...in the same bed with this guy? WOW!!!
