LIFE GOES ON... ~~~~~~~~
"This is fictional story with fictional characters, and although I wish this story happened to me, well, it didn't... but anyway, I'd like to say that if you have ever read my other fiction: 'life' I am so sorry that I did not get to finish that one, I realized that it was going nowhere so, I stopped and I'm writing this new one, with more substance and more dramas of a confused teen, so here goes..."

James Kiefer, smart young man of 16. 5'8" tall, with hazel-brown eyes, short dark hair, and a semi-muscular, lightly-tanned physique. And although he was charming, witty, and cute; girls were never really that attracted to him. He had a lot friends, girl friends, mostly, none of the guys never hung out with him much. But that was ok with him, he was happy knowing all of the girls' secrets, their hidden desires, not to mention their crushes.
One day, James went to school on a dreary, rainy Thursday morning. Although the rain drenched him just a little, this bothered him less than the silence of the halls. "What the hell is going on here?" he asked himself. People started whispering as if some gossip had just broken out. Suddenly...
"James, James!" a familiar voice called out. James turned around and saw Andrew, one of his friends from way back. He was about as tall as James, with orangey-red hair and eyes, he was a touch paler than James, and touch less muscular, but still, he was one of the most sought after guy in school.
"Andrew, what?" James asked with a raised eyebrow
"Did you hear, did you hear?" Andrew asked in between breathes
"No I didn't and would you please stop repeating your words?" James said with a worried tone
"Sally and Miguel just broke up, about 10 minutes ago..." Andrew finally said
"What?" James said in disbelief. Running, James followed Andrew to where Sally was. Sally was James' closest friend, they've been friends for as long as time, and even though Sally had a million boyfriends, they still considered themselves soulmates. James stopped a while when he saw Sally's hands covering her face. Even from a far distance he could hear her crying. He approached her slowly, gently patting her back. Sally looked up, tears all over her eyes, she looked at James as if somebody had died.
"Oh James!" she cried hugging her dear friend.
"It's alright Sally, I'm here..." he replied, hugging her back. James knew that this break-up wasn't an ordinary break-up, Sally and Miguel were the couple of the millenium. Everyone knew them, everyone expected them to be the perfect match. And now everyone knew about the break-up. "What's wrong, sweetie?" James asked sweetly, with his innocent and caring voice.
"Miguel wanted to break up with me..." she replied in between sobs, "he said that he going to Ohio, Canada, and that he was leaving this town of ours, and, and, and..." she didn't finish her statement as she bawled in James' arms.
"It's alright, Sally, I'm here for you..." James said, combing Sally's hair gently. In his mind was, "Miguel, what the hell is going on in you head?"
The day went on in silence. Nobody talked much, everyone was greiving on the break-up. At around 5 o'clock PM, in chemistry class, James glanced over at Miguel, who was his classmate for that particular class. Miguel looked a bit stressed out. He was a charming young man, around 5'7", deeply tanned, with black hair reaching his eyebrows, and dark mahogany eyes. But he looked a bit pale now, his eyes were a bit dull, and he looked as though he didn't get much sleep last night.
Finally the bell rang and it was time for them to go home, the dusk was fast approaching as the sun's light dwindled in the horizon, the clouds slowly turned from amber red to coral indigo. Almost all the students left school already. Miguel was walking alone in the field, sighing deeply ever so often. His gestures suggest that he was thinking, thinking really hard.
"You like spending time by yourself?" came a voice from behind. Startled, Miguel turned around and saw James. Giving a sigh of relief he replied
"No, I don't... it's just that there's no one to spend it with now..."
"Yeah, I heard... why, Miguel, why? You two were the best couple in Kismet High!" James asked, walking up to him. "You know what? You're damn stupid for leaving her like that, just because your going to Canada!" he boomed.
Miguel shook his head, he didn't want to look James in the eye, but he knew he had to let everything out, "I know your close to Sally, you've been bestfriends ever since. You know I loved her, so did you ever stop to think that I would let my moving to Canada hurt her so much? That's not the only reason James. The truth is, I'm confused, I'm god damned fucking confused, man!" Miguel said, starting to cry. "I... I... I'm falling in love with somebody else..."
This shocked James to no man's land, but what he was about to hear was going to shock him even more...
Miguel continued, "I'm in love... with my girlfriend's BESTFRIEND!" Miguel cried dropping on his hands and knees. James couldn't believe what he just heard: Miguel, his bestfriend's boyfriend, was falling in love with him.
"I... I don't know what to say, God! Oh, man! This... this is so confusing... you mean to tell me, you're falling for me?"
Miguel didn't reply, he just nodded his head slowly.
"Oh god! shit, man! I... I need to get home!" James said, walking away
"You won't tell anyone will you?" came a sad, pleading voice.
James didn't reply, he just kept on moving...
