Life, As I know It 1-Introduction

The following story is a work of fiction that does not want to imply that anyone in this story is gay, lesbian, or bisexual. The storyline may be far fetched but it's for entertainment purposes only. Thank you

"All I am, all I'll be.

Everything in this world

All that I'll ever need."

The radio blasted at 7am. Yet another grueling day of work. I looked over at the empty side of my bed and remembered Robin, the love of my life. He was the last man, the last person I would ever be involved with. He died of cancer about two years ago. I sighed as I got out of bed and took a shower. A long hot shower that, for some reason, relaxed my muscles. I got out of the shower and changed into my work clothes. A dress shirt and khaki pants, as usual. I was about to leave, when I got a call.

"Hello," I sighed.

"Hey, buddy. It's me Drew," my brother said.

"Drew! What's up?"

"Well, I am in town for the week and I thought I'd visit my baby brother."

"Well, when are you coming up," I said, extremely excited.

"In about an hour. Can you meet me?"

"I sorta have to work. My boss said if I am late again I could get fired."

"You are a freaking decorator. You need a job that is not so, gay," Drew laughed before realizing what he said. "Oops. Sorry, buddy. It's just weird to think the guy I shared a tub with when we were kids is gay. I am no homophobic retard. I still love ya."

"Glad to hear it. I will try to meet you, but if I can't, I'll have the spare key at the front desk."

Drew said his good-byes as I looked at my clock. I was five minutes early, if I was at work. Unfortunately, living in Miami does not have great traffic timing. I knew I was going to be, at least ten minutes late.

Drew walked into my place about an hour and a half later. He flopped his stuff on the couch, sat back, and relaxed. He turned on the TV And watched N'Sync dance and sing on television. I came in the door with a box of my stuff.

"Drew," I said as I put my box down, "how are you?"

"Hey, buddy," Drew smiled, "what's going on? You moving?"

"No, got fired. I was late for work after that phone call this morning."

"I got you fired," Drew asked sincerely.

"You did not get me fired. I was late for work. It's my own fault. I should have ignored the temptation for talking to you."

Drew and I laughed.

"Well, I am sorry I got you fired. I will repay you. Promise."

Drew and I went to lunch. We had fun catching up and talking. Then the dreaded question.

"Are you coming back home," Drew asked.

The memory of coming out to my dad still haunted me. I brought Robin there and told my dad that I was gay and in love. I remember Drew spitting out his beer and my dad dropping his food before yelling at us to get out. Drew housed us at his bachelor apartment until we took a plane to my mother's. Since my parents were divorced, going to visit my mother was a refreshing break from visiting my dad.

"I don't know, Drew," I sighed. "Dad hates me. He said so himself. I do not want to get in a big `I told you so,' song from father. No way."

"Dad heard about Rob. He is real sorry he wasn't there for you. He really is. Give him another chance, Dean."

"I will not dance with the devil again. I gave him his chance."

"You told him-"

"Let's not talk about it now, Drew."

"No, Dill. Let's talk about it. He is your father Dylan! But he's also human. When you told him you were gay punched him in the gut. It hurt him hard. You being the youngest child, as well as his youngest son. He had dreams for you. He wanted to see the big wedding and the children running around. When you told him you were gay he thought that was over."

"And so now I should just forgive him because he wanted to be selfish?"

"Yeah. I mean face it, you're his son and your being just as selfish as he was. God, Dill, you don't have to forgive the guy, just hear him out. Mom even agrees. They have been talking about you and stuff and mom thinks you should go see him. Come back home with me, Dylan."

I looked at Drew. His eyes were pleading for me to go. I wondered what my father had to say, in all honesty. Even if it were to be something evil, Drew would protect me. I sighed as I took the last bite of desert.

"I may go home," I sighed, "if, and only if dad calls and invites me."

Drew smirked a bit.

"What," I asked.

"Nothing, buddy," Drew smiled. "I am just proud of you."

"Well," I smiled back, "I'm proud of you too."

"Well, then. Be my best man."

"What!"

"I came out here for a reason, baby bro. I am getting married to a beautiful, wonderful woman. She's smart, funny, and friendly and everything. The wedding is around the corner and I want you to not just go, but be the best man."

"God, Drew. Congratulations."

I got up and gave Drew a hug. Then a shoved him off a bit.

"Wait. Is that why you want me to see dad," I asked.

"I want you both at my wedding. Dad says that he wants to talk to you, that is true."

"But."

"But he wants to change you. He says he knows a way to make you straight. I'd rather you be who you are, but I want you there, Dill. I will keep you away from dad, but I want you at my wedding, buddy."

I sighed. I looked out the window of the restaurant, then back at Drew.

"I don't have to see him, right," I asked."

"Promise," Drew smiled.

The next morning, Drew and I where on a plane heading towards my hometown of Kansas City. All the memories of when we were kids flooded my mind and not all of them good. I remember the custody battle between my mother and dad. I remember my mother kissing me goodbye as she left for what seemed eternity. I remember my first boyfriend, Ryan Thomas, the class clown and how when we broke up in my senior year, how he tried to out me by spreading rumors about me, which died fast. I remember Drew breaking his arm when he was beat up with a bat at school. I remember everything. I looked over at Drew, who was sound asleep as he usually is during plane rides. It never cease to amaze me who open-minded Drew is. Most brothers would be scared that their gay brother would sneak up on them naked, but not Drew.

Drew and I boarded off the plane. We walked towards the luggage rack, when I heard a loud, piercing scream. I turned around to see a bubbly young girl running towards Drew. She had to be no more than 15.

"Please tell me that is not your fiance," I smirked.

The girl ran and hugged Drew tightly.

"Hey," Drew smiled, "missed me?"

"Yeah, of course I did, dad," the girl smiled.

"Can you say hi to your uncle too," I smiled.

"Oh, hi Dilly," she smiled as she wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Wow, you have grown, girl. How old are you now, 10?"

"I'm turning sixteen in a week, stupid."

"Don't call your uncle stupid," Drew said firmly. Then he smiled at me as he said, "Just call him slow."

I lightly punched Drew in the shoulder as Drew and his daughter giggled. Then a beautiful woman maybe in her mid-twenties walked up to Drew.

"Hello," he said with an animal growl.

"Welcome back," she smiled as they kissed.

"I am sorry," Drew smiled, "Dill, this is my fiance, Rachel Gross. Rachel, this is my little brother, Dylan.

I shook Rachel's hand. She smiled.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Dylan."

"You can call me Dill like the rest of the family," I smiled.

"Or you can call him Dilly," my niece smiled.

"Nope, sorry, Jessie. That name is strictly yours," I smiled as I nudged her head.

"Ok, come on. Let's go to the house," Drew smiled.

As we drove, I was surprised how happy Jessie seemed to be, considering her age. For years, it was just Drew and Jessie, ever since her mother died of cancer 10 years back. I remember Drew walking up to dad with Karen, telling him that Karen was 4 month's pregnant. Dad was not happy that is fourteenth year old son got an 18-year-old girl pregnant. Though Drew kept how Karen and him got to that point, the one thing that couldn't be argued was there were in love and were good parents. Karen had a very good job and supported Drew and Jessie while Drew went to school, and eventually college, which mom gladly paid for. Mom was also the baby-sitter, which dad did not approve. He always said that Drew got himself into that mess, he should shovel his way out.

Now here Drew is, finally moving on with his life. He loved Karen, but to actually see him in his own house with a woman he loved and his daughter being happy was more than I could have ever dreamed for him. We pulled up in the driveway and we all got out of the car. Jessie helped me with my bags while Drew and Rachel made out near the car. I entered and Jessie sowed me where my room was.

"So," Jessie inquired, "what do you think of Rachel?"

"Well, from what I know so far, she seems very nice," I smiled.

"Yeah, and do you know what else," Jessie smiled with glee," Daddy, Rachel, and I are moving to California next month."

"California? Why there?"

"Because of Rachel's job. She writes songs for music groups and artist. The wedding is going to be so awesome. Rachel says that some of the industries top artists are going to be there. I mean it's going to be so cool. There is even rumor that Madonna may stop by."

"You are so lying," I said on the edge of excitement.

"I didn't believe it until I met Ricky Martin last week. He's the sweetest, nicest guy out there. She is writing 10 songs for a music group, which she won't tell me who. Then she's writing a song for a movie too."

"Wow. I mean. Drew is ok about leaving?"

"Come on, Dilly. Daddy has wanted to get out of this city for years. Rachel offered him a way out."

I nodded in approval, knowing how much Drew wanted to escape this place.

Not wanting to stay, I decided to walk around the old town and see what's changed. I asked Drew if Jessie could go, he smiled and winked as he threw the car keys towards me. I smiled as Jessie and I left. We drove around town before we saw a monstrous line at the doors of the music store owned by Ryan's father. I cringed as Jessie eagerly made me pull over and hop out of the car. Jessie got in line just as fourteen, I swear, fourteen girls came up behind her. When I finally found her, she told me that JC from N'Sync was signing autographs. I tried to get behind her, but there three snobby-assed kids screamed and yelled, which brought the attention of the man in charge.

"Is that you, Dylan," the guy asked.

"Ryan. Hi," I said sheepishly.

Ryan walked up to me and hugged me. This took me by surprise.

"Wow, Dill. You look great," he smiled.

"Yes, you don't look that bad yourself. You're still working here?"

"No. I own it. My father passed away awhile back. What are you doing here trying to trample down these girls," he laughed.

"My niece wants to meet and greet JC."

"How about I take you and your niece to meet him personally," Ryan smiled.

With that, he handed Jessie and I a VIP pass and took us towards the front of the line. We approached the hottest member of N'Sync, well, in my personal opinion.

"Um, Mr. Chavez, I would like you meet my friend, Dylan Turner, and his niece."

"My name is Jessica," Jessie smiled.

"No offense," JC snapped, "but I am not in the mood of meeting people. So, Mr. Thomas, could you please just give them an autograph and let them be on their way."

"What bug got up your ass," I snapped back.

"In all honesty I shouldn't be here, but since I am I do not want to be bothered by a bunch of rednecks," he whispered angrily.

"Redneck," I started to yell, "Redneck! Don't get me started on you, you prissy, sorry excused talentless hack!"

"Dilly," Jessie yelled.

"Get him out of here, Mr. Thomas. Now."

Ryan, who had been shocked at the event, ushered Jessie and I out.

"Listen," Ryan smiled,' I am so sorry about that. I didn't know he'd be such a crab."

"It's not your fault, Ryan," I reassured him.

Jessie and I drove around for a bit. Jessie said nothing to me the whole drive. Finally, I pulled the car over.

"Jessie," I smiled with my infamous puppy dog eyes, "are you mad at me?"

"No," she smiled, "I am disappointed at JC. He was always my favorite, and to see him acting like such an ass pisses me off."

"Ass? Where did you learn that language?"

"Dilly, I was not raised under a rock. Don't tell daddy though."

"Promise."

Life as I Know It 1- Is he it?

The following story is a work of fiction that does not want to imply that anyone in this story is gay, lesbian, or bisexual. The storyline may be far fetched but it's for entertainment purposes only. Thank you

The following day was busy, really. Drew and I went to the tuxedo shop while Jessie and Rachel went to the bridal store.

"So what did you and Jessie do yesterday," Drew inquired.

"We drove around. I also bumped into Ryan."

"Ryan Thomas. I heard about his father. How is he."

"Extremely nice. You remember me telling you about Ryan and me, how we broke up. It was devastating and sent a bitter riff between us. But yesterday, not only was he nice, but he got Jessie and me to see some jackass who was signing in the store."

"Jackass? Was he famous?"

"Jessie knew him. He had such an attitude. He was mean and personally, I hope I never see him again."

"Dill. I doubt you'll ever see him again, so calm down."

The salesperson came and told me it was time for my fitting. He was very cute and I admit I flirted a little. When we were done, I went back out to where Drew was standing, with an elderly man. I saw him and froze.

"Dylan. How are you my boy," the man said.

"Hello, dad," I nodded.

"Well aren't you going to give you father a hug," he asked.

"I am shocked. Aren't you scared I am not gonna feel you up or something?"

"Dill," Drew said in disappointment.

"I deserved that, Andrew,' my father said to Drew. "Listen, I know that what I have said in the past was rude, but I've changed, Dylan, honest."

Drew rolled his eyes as I headed for the door.

"I'm all set so I don't have to be here. See you later, Drew."

With that, I left the tuxedo shop. I started walking towards the bus stop when a car pulled up. It was, of course, my father.

"Dylan," my father said as he got out of the car, "I can help you. I have been talking to many of these doctors' who say they can help you people become normal."

"Dad," I yelled, "face reality. There is no such think as normality. Everyone is different."

"No such thing as normality? The words of sick freak. What is it about men that make you go running towards them? Women are made for you, for us. Why can't you except that?"

"Why can't you except me? I mean what kind of father are you? You blame everything on us, but you never except us. Dylan and I have bent over backwards to try to keep you happy. And sure, Drew and I have screwed up. But I mean you still haven't even mentioned Jessica in your will because you think she's not your granddaughter. Then you banished me from the family. What the hell is your problem? Why don't you love us?"

"I love you both. That is why I want my boys to be normal."

"Listen. I am here for Drew's wedding. That is it. After that, I am leaving. You'll never see me again, unless you except me. You have until the day after the wedding to except me for who I am."

The bus pulled up in front of me.

"And not a day more," I yelled as I got on the bus. I put my change in and the bus drove around my father's car, leaving my father in shock and disbelief.

The rest of the week where wedding preparations, which where mainly done by Rachel and I. Drew and Rachel decided on close friends and family. We started to become extremely close though-out the week, laughing, and talking. We even traded Drew stories, which was so fun. She also said she was ok with the gay thing, for she had many gay friends, being in the music industry. Thursday was not fun because we had the dreaded bachelor party. I promised Rachel that Drew would not do anything he would regret. I fortunately got to meet Rachel's dad. He told me I would meet Rachel's sister at the wedding. He also told me Bianca; Rachel's sister saw pictures of me through Drew and had a little crush on me. I just nodded and walked away. The Friday before the wedding, my mother flew down. She, also, stayed with Drew and I. The wedding took place that Sunday, so mom, Drew, Jessie, and I and a dinner together at the house the night before the wedding.

The doorbell rang as Jessie went to get it. I was upstairs picking out clothes for the reception while Drew and mom where in his room.

"Dinner's here," Jessie yelled as she put the food onto the dining room table. Drew ran downstairs to pay while my mom came to the room I was now sharing with Jessie.

"Come on, Dylan. Dinner's ready," my mother smiled.

"Be there in a sec," I said as I looked for a dress shirt.

I took it out and followed my mother down the stairs. When I got there, Chinese food was laid out on the table. Jessie and Drew where on one side of the table while, mom and I sat on the other side. Jessie and I went straight for the shrimp-fried rice. Mom started off with egg rolls and Drew went to the teriyaki.

"Where is Rachel," I asked.

"Well, I wanted it to just be us tonight, so Rachel is at the hotel with her parents," mom smiled

"Besides," Jessie added, "it's unlucky for the bride and the groom to see each other until she walks down the isle."

"Well, what do you think of her, guys," Drew inquired, "Honestly."

"She's a sweet girl. Very lovely and smart," our mother smiled.

"Yeah, and she's a great cook," Jessie smiled.

"What do you think," Drew smiled.

"She's a bitch," I snapped.

Drew, Jessie, and mom's faces went into shock.

"We call each other that. She's an awesome person. Me and her get along great."

Drew and Jessie laughed while mom just shook her head.

The wedding was the next day. Drew was nervous as hell, but he kept a cool head about it. Mr. Gross, Rachel's dad, walked in to say Rachel was set. I walked down with Bianca, who was about a year older than Jessie. She smirked and giggled as pictures of us were being taken. The wedding went off without a hitch, and then it was off to the reception.

When I walked in, everyone from the wedding was there, doing the bunny hop. It was embarrassing to see 42 people of all ages bumping and hopping, with Drew and Rachel in front. I came late, because I had changed. Rachel saw me and smiled. Then she disappeared. I went it the family and said my hellos. When it came to my dad, I just nodded and he did the same. I went to the bar just as Rachel came and grabbed my arm.

"Hello, best man," she smiled.

"Congratulations," I smiled as I hugged her.

"I have a surprise for you," she smiled with energy.

I felt someone to my left, so when I turned, I got a surprise of my life.

"I would like you to meet my best friend, Josh Chavez. Josh, this is-"

"Dylan Turner, if I remember," Josh smiled.

"You've met," Rachel asked.

"Yes, but under bad circumstances, right," he asked me.

"You can say that," I smirked.

"Well, then I'll leave you two to catch up," Rachel smiled as she rejoined the newly formed conga line.

"This is weird," Josh smiled.

"Yeah," I agreed. "By the way, you can call me Dylan or Redneck. Whichever you prefer."

"I didn't mean that. Let me explain. With the media all over my ass with the lawsuit from my former company, and then being forced by the new company to just do this one autograph signing, and your friend there bringing everyone he knew to the front of the line, I was overworked."

"And that gave you a great reason why to hurt my niece's feelings?"

"If I knew that my rudeness was going to come back and slapped me on the face, I would have handled it better, but it's in the past. Come on, let's start over."

"I don't do do over's. First impressions are the best impressions."

"Then let this be the first. Hi, I am Prissy Talentless-hack."

I chuckled at that. He was persistent, which I liked. Well, Josh and I became somewhat friends. He hung out with Jessie and I. He also helped me put up with preteen Bianca. Drew came up to me and asked if I would take Jessie for a week. Mom was busy for the week, so I gladly agreed. Josh and I even planned to meet up in Miami for a day, to make up the confrontation at the music store. When I saw Rachel by herself, I excused myself from Josh and Jessie to talk to her.

"Hey bitch," I smiled.

"Hi. How are you and Josh doing," she giggled with excitement.

"He's gay isn't he," I asked.

"As gay as Wayne Newton's wardrobe. You like him?"

"He's growing on me, but we will probably just platonic."

"Platonic? Why. You guys seem so cute together. I mean a date, just one date wouldn't hurt."

"Don't push it, I do not want to date media royalty."

"Think about it," Rachel said as she got up. "He may surprise you as to what a good guy he is."

Rachel walked towards Drew and her family while I looked at Jessie and Josh playing that hand- slapping game, slides. He was cute, and humorous. Also had an ass to boot. But even if I where to have sex with Josh now, it would be lust, just lust. I didn't want that.

Throughout the reception, Josh and I drank, quite a bit. We weren't drunk, but we weren't sober either. Near the end of the reception, Rachel threw the bouquet past the horny single women, hit me in the face, and landed in my lap. Jessie looked mad, for she wanted to get it, but Josh just laughed, along with Drew. Then Drew took off Rachel's garter belt and landed smack-faced on Josh's face, which I then returned the laugh. My mother, being the traditionalist she was, forced Josh to put the garter belt on my leg, through the leg of my pant. As much as I protested, everyone else agreed. Josh started at my ankle and started going up, just as the cheap plastic chair cracked.

I went 172 shades of red as I stood up. Half from the chair and half from Josh feeling my leg, for if he got towards the groin area, he would felt how much I liked his hands there.

We all bid Drew and Rachel a nice farewell just as the clock struck 11:30 at night. I looked at Jessie, who was clunked out on my mother's lap. I told mom to come home, but she had to catch a plane back home tonight, because of her job. So I carried Jessie to the car, with Josh's help. Then I turned to him.

"Thank you for helping me," I smiled.

"The pleasure's mine, trust me," He smiled.

Then a limousine pulled up. I assumed it was Josh's until the window went down and Rachel's head popped out.

"You got a call, Josh. Your plane seat was held up. They gave you a flight to Miami Tuesday afternoon," Rachel said.

"Great, where the hell am I gonna sleep tonight," he asked frustrated.

Rachel looked at me, and I sighed.

"Come on, Josh. You're spending two nights at the fabulous Turner house," I smiled.

Rachel and Josh agreed as the limousine pulled away and Josh hopped into the car.

When we got to the house, Josh helped my take Jessie to bed. I put her in her nightclothes while Josh checked out the place. When I found him, he was in the living room.

"If you give me a second, I will move my stuff out of the guest room, and you can have it."

"No," He smiled," I am not going to be here that long. Show me where it is, and I'll just sleep."

We went there, and looked around. My mother left the room in a disaster.

"Uh-oh," I sighed, "Well you can take Rachel and Drew's room and I'll sleep on the couch."

"No, share the bed with me, I don't bite. Besides, it's an uncomfortable couch."

As tired as I was, I was not going to argue. We headed for Drew and Rachel's bed. When we got there, he stripped down to his underwear and was going for his boxers.

"What the hell are you doing," I asked.

"Well, I need to sleep naked, or else I don't sleep at all," he said sheepishly.

"I am downstairs," I said as I grabbed a pillow.

"Wait," he stopped me.

He took off his boxers and then kissed me. I fought him a little, out of shock, then I kissed back. Josh started to take off my clothes, as his kisses became passionate. When I was naked, he swept me in his arms and laid me on the bed. His soft lips immediately went for my nipples, as he sucked and licked them. Going back and forth on each nipple made my erection known as pre-cum leaked out. Josh finally went down to the throbbing member and licked all around the head. The he took the whole thing in his mouth as I moaned his name.

"Josh, oh yes, Josh. Suck my dick JC," I moaned with delight.

Then I felt someone shake me. I opened my eyes, and there was Josh standing there smiling. I looked up to see myself still at the wedding reception.

"Must have been a good dream,' Josh smiled.

"Why would you say that," I inquired.

He grasped my hard-on in my pants.

"That's number one, and number two was when you kept moaning my name. If I didn't know better, Dylan, I would swear you were dreaming of having sex with me," he smiled cockily.

"I was thinking of Joshua Jackson of Dawson's Creek, idiot. You're so full of yourself," I lied.

"Wow," Josh smile even more, "since when do they call Joshua Jackson `JC'," he smiled as he walked away.

"Damn," I muttered knowing I was caught.

He knows I like him.
