Hey all! I know it's been like forever since I've updated, but I've been very busy. Add that together with the fact that I got one e-mail last part, and you'll figure out why. Now, I'm not complaining. Not at all. I understand that if you read this story you can't e-mail me after every single chapter, but come on. I happen to know that more then 1 person reads this story. It would be really nice if I got at least 2 e-mails this time!
Now on to the thanks. Diva and Frank, you guys are da bomb. Read their stories Lance's Liason and Justin's Secrets. Their both kick ass!
Disclaimer-- You know the drill. This story is fiction. In real life, they probably aren't gay. Face it. Accept it. And Dream, cause you know, what's life without dreams? And who knows, maybe they are!
Mail me at joeysgal@backstreetboys.com. You can also im me at gemmini999, but i'm not really on all that often anymore.
Sit back and read, this is going to be an interesting chapter, to say the least.
Oh yeah, NightBoi, CONGRATULATIONS! You know what I'm talking about... just need to say it one more time!
Chapter 9-
"Bye Megan, Bye Tyler" Chris said, walking slowly out of the recording studio. He was the last to leave, save Lance. And as he slowly filed out the doorway, an awkward silence filled the studio. That evening was their first date...
"Well...um, See ya round Meggers. Tyler, how's 7 sound?" Lance asked, after giving Megan a giant hug. He nodded.
"Great. Come on over... and remember, I'm in charge of the date. Don't you dare lift a finger, got it?" Tyler joked. Lance just nodded.
"Well, I'll be seeing ya. Bye bye Meggers." Lance said, after reciving one last final hug from Megan.
"Bye Lance." Tyler whispered. This was the first time in over fourty eight hours that the two had been seperated.
Lance walked out the doorway, smiling back over his shoulder. He didn't even see Chris standing there, grinning madly, until he literally walked into him
"Hey buddy, watch where you going." Chris admonished Lance. No response.
"Lance? Lance? Ya there?" Chris asked, waving his hand in front of Lance's face.
"What, huh?" Lance said, snapping out of his dilusional state. Chris smiled.
" Lance, I'm happy for ya man." He joked, hugging Lance tightly. Lance just looked at him, confused. "Tyler... man, I thought I'd never see you with another guy... after Jordan." He explained.
"Don't go there Chris." Lance growled, suddenly out of his cheery mood. "Just don't go there."
"Woah... calm down!" Chris said, still smiling. "If it helps any, I like him. A lot."
" It helps. I just wish..." Lance didn't finish his thought.
"We all do Lance. Sometimes we just have to move on though."
"It's hard Chris. It's so hard." Lance stated. Chris nodded.
"No one ever said it wasn't hard Lance. Just like no one ever said that you have to move on all by yourself. Don't forget we're all here for you."
"Yeah, especially Jc." Lance sarcastically replied. Chris just stood there.
"Haven't you forgiven him yet? He's sorry Lance."
Lance didn't smile. "I know Chris, but it's hard. So hard."
"I'm here for ya buddy." Chris smiled, pulling Lance in for a hug. "Now move you albino ass. The other's are waiting."
"That's your ass, idiot." Lance grinned. Chris just shook his head.
"You soooo didn't say that."
"Sure I didn't. Just like I didn't say that you need professional help."
"I'm giving you a head start Lance. Use it. Now." Chris grinned, and Lance took off running as fast as his legs could carry him. Chris chuckled and ran after him, Lance needed his ass pounded a bit.
"Hey Chris, come here for a sec." Lance said once the five of them got of the elevator at their hotel.
"Sure Scoop. Catch ya guys laters." Chris said, saying bye to the rest of the guys.
"Sure thing Chris. Still on for the game of being pounded?" Justin asked. Chris just shook his head.
"Get over your ego boy. Seriously, I can so take you any time anywhere." Chris replied, walking away towards Lance's hotel room.
"Your dreaming!" Justin retorted, sticking out his tongue.
"Way mature Justin." Jc commented. Justin just scowled and looked away. Jc sighed and started to walk to his room.
"Hey Jc, wait up!" Justin said, running after him. "Wanna do something?"
"Why not." Jc said. That was the last of the two of them Chris heard. He had reached Lance's door and after knocking had been quickly pulled inside.
"What up?" Chris asked, seriously.
"Tonight... well...." Lance said, shyly.
"Say no more. Big night, huh?" Chris asked. Lance just nodded.
"And you want to hear about the birds and the bees..." Chris trailed off.
"Actually Chris, I mastered that subject a while ago. Don't know where you've been. I just... well, It's going to sound silly." Lance commented.
"Spill your guts Scoop. I won't laugh...much"
"Well, I sorta wanted to get Megan and Tyler a gift or two... ya know?" he said, not finishing his thoughts.
"Ahhh, and since I am a master shopper, you decided to call on me....." Chris didn't finish either.
"Naw, it's just you've got those sisters. You know what little girls like." Lance explained. Chris nodded, wiping a fake tear off his cheek.
"Is that all I'm good for? My sisters?" Chris asked, playfully.
"Hell, if I was straight man, quite possibly." Lance joked. Chris punched him in the stomach.
"I'm already dreading the day one of them gets old enough for Justin. I can see it now.."Chris shuddered.
"Seriously Chris, any ideas?" Lance asked. Chris settled down on Lance's king sized bed and thought for a moment.
"How about a movie? Or a doll?" He suggested finally. Lance smiled.
"That's perfect. Tyler was saying how he's sick of all the movies she's already has... maybe a new one to add to the collection...."
"See, there ya go!" Chris said, standing. "Now, if you excuse me... I belive I have a game of one on one with Justin planned."
"Chris! What do I wear? What movie should I get her? Should I get Tyler something too?" Lance said, talking as fast as he could.
Chris settled back onto the bed. "This is going to be a long afternoon." he commented. Lance just smiled his thanks. The two of them got to work.
Lance was nervous. He had no idea what Tyler had planned, he wasn't sure if Megan would like his gift.. All in all he was just a massive ball of nerves. And he was standing right outside Tyler's door. It was 10 minutes to 7. He was early.
Gathering all his courage, he lightly tapped the door. He heard a faint cry of "Coming!" but wasn't sure. A few seconds later the door opened and Lance saw a very stressed out Tyler.
"What's wrong?" He immediately questioned, stepping inside and puting his gifts down, getting ready to help.
"Nothing... it's just that Rachel sort of took the night off without talking to me so we can't go out... I ordered food in but Megan doesn't seem to want to go to sleep and she's fussy so I haven't had a chance to set the table or anything..." Tyler exlained all in one breath. Lance just laughed.
"Ty, it's important to breath. Remember that. Now as for the table, I can set it. Why don't you go work on Meggers, kay?"
"Have I told you lately you the best?" Tyler commented. Lance just shoved him in the direction of Megan's door.
"Get. The sooner she's asleep the sooner you can get back to telling me how great I am." Lance joked. Tyler just shook his head.
"Forks and knives are in the door on the right of the fridge. Napkins are under the counter. Plates--"
"I'll find all of it. Now get!" Lance ordered. Tyler saluted him and walked away, grinning. Lance just smiled a little smile and walked towards the kitchen. The table needed to be set!
