This is a fictitious story that occurs between two consenting adults over the age of eighteen that takes place during their senior year of high school. If you are not permitted to read these types of stories, or are considered a minor in your place of residency, please do not continue reading. I couldn't decide on a title for the story, so I just used the standard naming of the main characters as the title. If I ever start a new series and submit it to Nifty, maybe I?ll be a little more original. Enjoy!

Kyle and Kip - Part 1

The first time I saw him, I hated him. I had just convinced myself that I did not need to have a relationship in high school. I finally got over my past, and started looking forward to my future. I reminded myself that I would be starting college next year and would be leaving behind the memories and heartbreak that seemed to haunt me every day. But then, he showed up. I have had my fair share of being speechless around a guy, but I cannot recall a time when I was so awestruck. No, I am not naive enough to think he was the most perfect human being on the planet, nor did I think of him as my soul mate. I did, however, find myself incredibly attracted to him.

He stood at exactly six feet and two inches and was wearing pink tights to show school pride during our Spirit Week for crazy day with booty shorts over top to cover his bulge - the shorts did not do very well. He was on the football team, so he had a decent build. When he moved his arm I could see the muscles strain against his skin as if they were about to burst out of his body. His smile was the warmest and most genuine smile I had ever seen; when he smiled at me I felt like I was the only person on earth. His skin was a medium brown tone and was so smooth and flawless that it glowed, and his hair was a deep brown - so deep that it was almost black - and was tightly curled and cropped to the frame of his hairline. But I suppose his best attribute were his eyes; they were larger than normal and were a mixture of gold and light brown. He certainly was a beautiful man, and I hated every inch of his body.

I first met him in the office of my Guidance Counselor. I hate going to classes, so I usually spend any time I can in her office - we have developed a great relationship. Anyway, he walks in and I can tell that he has not been attending school here long as I definitely would remember seeing his face. I stopped my conversation mid-sentence and was unable to continue as I just sat there. As I looked at him more, I started to want this man. That's when I started hating him. How could he just walk in and ruin everything I just accomplished? I finally convinced myself that I was worthy and was important compared to what every other guy has proved to be their opinion of me. I had a feeling that he was going to just look at me and laugh - someone that beautiful couldn't find me attractive. I am five feet, nine inches tall with a few extra pounds and short dirty blonde hair that is spiked wildly. I have one small diamond stud in each ear that I feel adds to my physique. I have my moments when I feel incredibly attractive, but they are few and far between. I am by no means, however, ugly. I guess I just have issues.

"Hello, Kip!!" my Guidance Counselor yells. "Have a seat, my dear!"Kip. Hmm... I liked that name. I had never heard it before and liked the way it sounded when it rolled off my tongue. And, at least I knew his name.

"Hey, Mrs. Patton," he replied with the most deep voice combined with a slight southern drawl. I sat there captivated, and with a grimace on my face, I ignored their whole conversation and averted my eyes to the trash can. I just could not believe that he looked so perfect and sounded even more amazing. I heard Mrs. Patton laugh and looked up at Kip just when he looked at me and smiled his perfect smile and made my knees weak. If I weren't sitting, I probably would have fallen over. I couldn't stay in that room. I had to get out before I did or said something that would have left me vulnerable.

"I'll be back later," I interrupted, and left Mrs. Patton's office as quickly as I could. I knew when I went back to see her that I would have explaining to do, but I just could not have stayed. I had never had such a reaction to one person before and I hated myself for it. At the same time, I hated him for being so damn perfect.

"Hey! Wait!" I heard a deep voice yell. I assumed the voice was talking to me, so I turned around to see what the person wanted. To my surprise, it was Kip. He was jogging down the hall to where I was standing.

"You forgot your books when you stormed out of there," he said, breathing heavily.

"Oh. Thanks," I replied with a monotone voice. I couldn't let him see that I wanted him.

"Is everything okay? Did I say something wrong in there?"

"No, no. You're fine. I just...needed some air."

"Look, I'll be honest. I can tell that you don't like me. I saw your whole demeanor change when I walked into Mrs. Patton's office. I don't know what your problem with me is considering I've never met you before, but can you try to like...I don't know, put that aside? I'm new to the school and I would love to make new friends."

"Sure," I said with a shaky voice. I did not know how I was supposed to be friends with this guy or why it matters if I hate him or love him. But I guessed I should be giving him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe I'll get over my hatred for him and learn to value his friendship. I refused, however, to let myself fall for him.

"Okay. Well, here are your books," he said, handing me my notebooks and folders to get me through the rest of the day.

"I guess I'll see you around then?"

"Yeah, for sure," I said and turned away from him.

"Wait! I never got your name," he called.

"Kyle. My name is Kyle."

Just then the bell rang to end seventh period. Eighth period started in four minutes, and considering I usually don't go to that class, I figured I should have made an effort to go in order to avoid Mrs. Patton asking any questions.

I walked to class, sat down, and got situated. The bell signifying the start of eighth period had just rung when I opened my notebook to begin the assignment on the board. I turned to the next unused page and found a note. It read:

I want to get to know you. Step 1: Call me. Tonight. Kip

Listed below the note was his cell phone number. I couldn't breathe.

If you're still reading, thank you. I know this chapter isn't very exciting, but I wanted to begin with a bit of a back story. I wanted you, the reader, to know how they met and make your own predictions as to where you think things would progress. This is my first attempt at writing something for Nifty, so please send me your feedback and let me know if I should continue writing. I?m open to ideas! The next chapter will contain sex scenes. Get ready.

Thanks! Colin(cjames.courage@live.com)
