Now just to remind you this story is completely fantasy and it is not meant to be taken for reality. I do not know what the boys are currently doing or where they are so this story will not be based on what they are actually doing in the present.
Since I have depicted both Kevin and Brian as gay, I do hope you know that this is a fantasy. Kevin and Brian are both engaged to two people they obviously love very much, so I just want to wish them all the happiness in the world...they deserve it.
So without further wait here is the next installment to Kevin & Dustin.
Kevin & Dustin 35 By: NM
I felt a stirring behind me, which caused me to wake up. I felt Kevin slip out of the bunk. I turned over and poked my head outside of the bunk I saw Kevin enter the galley and look through the cabinets. I slowly stood from the bunk and looked back towards the galley, but Kevin was no longer looking through the cabinets. I slowly walked towards the galley and I heard Kevin speaking very softly to someone else.
"I don't think he should be here," Kevin said to the other person in the galley.
"Why?" the other man asked.
I couldn't place the voice...but I knew it had to be one of the guys.
"Because I'm not sure it would be best for him to be here," Kevin replied.
"Why wouldn't it be good," the unknown voice asked.
"Dustin has been through a very traumatic ordeal. I just think it would be best if he were to leave." He reasoned.
"I understand that, but you could help him through this ordeal." he countered Kevin's reasons.
"I want him here too," Kevin began. "But...I'm not sure I could handle it," he said quietly. "You don't know what it is like...waking up in the night, and hearing him struggle in his nightmares. Then if I ask him about it, he just gets this look on his face, and says he doesn't want to talk about it." Kevin stated. "You can't imagine how hard this is on me, as well as Dustin. I want to help him, but he won't let me in. He won't let me help him." Kevin said.
When he finished, I heard him sniffle, and I knew he was crying. This caused me to start crying as well, I walked quickly, but quietly back to his bunk and slipped in. I managed to stop crying and soon fell back asleep.
"Dustin...Dustin wake up," I heard Kevin's voice.
"Ugh, what is it," I mumbled.
"We're at our next stop," Kevin said.
"Oh, so that means unpack in a hotel, spend a few days then back on the bus," I stated.
"Come on. We're already checked in, and I've taken our bags to our room," Kevin said offering me his hand.
I took it and stood up and stretched for a moment. I followed Kevin out the bus, and grabbed my laptop that was on the couch on the way off the bus. We walked in the hotel and I followed Kevin to the elevator. We boarded and headed up to the 12th floor. I followed Kevin down the hall, to our door. He opened it and allowed me to enter and he followed me in while shutting the door.
"Dustin," Kevin began.
I turned to him and looked. He had a solemn look on his face, and then just ran to me and engulfed me in his arms.
I just wrapped my arms around his and we both started crying. I was crying for not opening up to Kevin, and I'm assuming Kevin was crying because I wasn't opening up to him.
"Dustin, why won't you talk to me," he asked through his tears.
"I do talk to you," I responded through my tears.
"Why wont you talk to me about your nightmares?"
"I don't want to talk about them," I said ripping Kevin's arms away from me and leaving his embrace. I could tell when I did that, it hurt Kevin deeply.
"You have no idea the ordeal I went through," I shouted firmly.
"But I want to know. I want to be able to help you," he shouted back.
"Can't you see that I don't want to relive it!" I screamed with more tears flowing.
"DAMMIT DUSTIN!" Kevin screamed. "This isn't healthy. You can't keep this bottled up inside. It will just continue to eat you away bit by bit each day!" he yelled.
I couldn't handle our arguing anymore. I walked past him to the door, and quickly left our room. I walked down the hall, and heard our door open.
"Dustin," I heard yelled out.
I turned around and looked at our room. I saw Michael.
"AHHH!" I let out a horrid scream and started running down the hall.
I ran and ran, and finally ended up at the elevators. I pushed the button quickly and kept pushing it, while I heard Michael's voice.
"Oh Dustin," he said at the intersection between the corridor and the elevator area. "Why did you do that, he asked me.
I ran over to the stairwell and began running down the stairs. I reached the lobby, while I heard Michael calling to me while following me down the stairwell.
I finally made it into the lobby and burst through the door. I was running quickly through the lobby when I collided with someone. I looked up while grasping my head in pain.
"God Brian. Its Michael. He's chasing me," I said grabbing onto him.
"Where, I don't see anyone," Brian said looking around.
"He was on our floor," I gasped out trying to catch my breath.
"Dustin are you sure you weren't having a nightmare or something," Brian asked.
"No, I was awake. Kevin and I were talking, then we got into an argument. I left, and started walking down the hall. I heard my name called out, and when I turned around Michael was there." I explained to Brian.
"Well lets go take a look," Brian said escorting me to the elevators.
We rode the elevator back up to our floor, and Brian walked me back to my room.
"Kev?" I called out into the empty room.
I received no answer.
"He must be looking for you," Brian reasoned.
"I hope so. I hope Michael doesn't find him," I said shuddering.
"Dustin, I don't think Michael was here. You probably just imagined it," Brian rationalized.
"NO! I yelled out. He was HERE!" I screamed.
"All right, all right. Calm down." Brian said soothingly.
"Sorry." I apologized.
"No apology necessary." Brian replied.
"Brian can I go with you to your room. I think I will feel safer there," I asked.
"Sure, come on." Brian replied opening the door and walking me down the hall a few doors to his room.
He opened the door with his keycard and allowed me to enter. He followed behind me, and shut the door. "Make yourself at home Dustin."
"I'm just going to use your bathroom." I said.
"Go right ahead." Brian replied.
I walked into the bathroom and shut the door. I turned on the water and filled the sink up with some warm water. I dunked my head in the water and held it for a few seconds. I pulled my head out, and grabbed a towel and dried my hair and face off, then drained the water from the sink.
I opened the door and found Brian in his bedroom lying on the bed reading a book.
"Brian do you think I could take a nap," I asked shyly.
"Sure. Ill be in the living area if you need me," he said setting his book on the dresser.
"No, that's okay. You can stay there. The bed is big enough." I stated.
"You sure?" Brian questioned.
"I'm sure," I replied laying down on the bed.
"Dustin do you want to talk about it," Brian asked turning to his side facing me.
"No. I just want to try and forget it," I said quietly.
"If you don't it will just continue to eat you away bit by bit," Brian said with concern.
My face fell as soon as the words left his mouth. "What?" Brian asked. "Whats wrong?"
"Kevin said the exact same thing to me," I said. "He said it right before I stormed out." I explained.
"Dustin everything will be all right." Brian said wrapping his arms around me.
Brian's hug felt so wonderful. It was just what I needed. I imagined that as long as he was hugging and holding me nothing bad could happen. Then it hit me...this is Brian, not Kevin.
`This isn't right.' I told myself.
Brian obviously felt me tense up in his arms, and released his hold on me. "Sorry." He apologized.
"For what?" I asked.
"I shouldn't have--" he began. "I was out of line--" he stuttered.
"Brian you don't have to apologize for hugging me. I needed it. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend," I said moving to hug him.
During our hug we somehow rolled over and Brian was now on his back, and I was ontop of him. I could feel the warmth being emitted from his body, and I could feel his pecs and abs underneath the cotton from his t-shirt.
I looked up into his eyes, and saw desire. I felt a tingling sensation all over my body, like the first time I was this close with Kevin. Brian started to speak, but I moved my finger to his mouth and covered it gently. He no longer tried to speak, but we locked eyes again.
This time the desire I saw in his eyes was even stronger, and it was as if I could look deeper than his soul. It was as if I could see the atoms and molecules that made his very existence possible.
We both began to slowly move our heads closer to each other. Our foreheads touched and our lips began to move closer to eachother.
The knock startled both of us. We stopped our lips from moving closer and both turned our heads to look at the door.
I rolled off of Brian quickly, but didn't move from the other side of the bed. Brian got up from the bed, "Pretend to be asleep." He said quietly.
I simply nodded my head and shut my eyes.
Brian walked over to the door and opened it. "Hey cuz," Brian said looking at the person on the other side of the threshold.
"Hey Bri, is Dustin here," Kevin asked with desperation in his voice.
"Ya, but be quiet he's asleep," Brian said motioning for his cousin to enter the room.
Kevin quickly entered and went to the foot of the bed.
"Where did you find him," Kevin asked.
"I didn't find him." Brian said. "He ran into me in the lobby," he added.
"I was looking everywhere for him," Kevin said. "Why didn't you take him back to our room." Kevin asked with a hint of anger.
"I did. But he didn't want to be alone, and I offered for him to come here instead." Brian said.
"Thanks Bri. Sorry for getting mad, I was just so worried." Kevin apologized. "We kinda got into an argument. He stormed out and I went after him. I called his name out and her turned to look at me, when he looked at me he screamed and took off," Kevin explained shedding a tear.
"He th-thought I was Michael," Kevin said upset.
"Cuz, he has been through a very bad ordeal. He just needs time to sort it all out," Brian said.
"But he wont let me help him. He wont talk to me," Kevin said dejectedly.
"Maybe this is something he needs to work out himself." Brian said defending me.
"Maybe," Kevin repeated.
I felt arms around me and lift me off of the bed. I slowly opened my eyes to continue the illusion that I was asleep. "Uh, Kev?" I asked slowly opening my eyes completely.
"I'm here babe," he replied soothingly.
"I'm sorry."
"Don't worry about it Dustin." He replied. "Just go back to sleep." He added.
"Umm...all right," I said quietly and then shutting my eyes again.
"Thanks again Bri," I heard Kevin say before I really fell asleep.
"Good Evening," Kevin said seeing me open my eyes.
"What time is it?"
"Around 11:00." He replied.
"At night?" I asked surprised.
"At night." He replied.
"How was practice," I asked turning in his arms to face him.
"All right. I kinda lost my concentration a lot though. I was worried about you," Kevin said.
"You didn't have to worry."
"I know, but I cant help worrying about you." He replied.
"How was everyone else at practice?"
"Everyone was all right. But Brian made a lot more mistakes than usual." Kevin answered.
"Oh. I hope it had nothing to do with me," I said without thinking.
"What would you have to do with him messing up," Kevin inquired.
"Well you know my running into him screaming about Michael, and all that stuff." I covered.
"Oh, I see." He replied.
"Kev?"
"Ya sweetie." He responded.
"I love you."
"I love you too Dustin." He replied quietly. "Come on," he said turning on his side and pulling me closer to him. "Lets get some sleep."
"Goodnight my love." He said into the now silent night.
"Goodnight Kev." I replied then shutting my eyes again.
When I woke up the next morning Kevin and I had shifted and I was now spooning him. The covers were down at the foot of the bed so I was kinda cold, but the heat coming from Kevin's body kept me warm enough.
I lazily reached over Kevin and answered the phone. I was greeted with the automated wake-up call. I hung up the phone and let out a yawn. "Kev, wake up sweetie." I said rubbing his cheek.
"Just 5 more minutes Dustin," he begged.
"Nope you cant. You have to eat breakfast. Then its rehearsal time for you," I reminded him of his busy schedule.
"How about we skip it," he suggested.
"Sorry, but you know you can't do that," I told him while getting up out of bed in hopes of motivating Kevin to do the same.
It apparently worked as he sat up and stretched out then headed for the bathroom. I followed him and we took a shower together, and got ready.
We were running a little late from some fooling around in the shower, so we would have to settle for whatever was at the arena for them for breakfast.
I was actually more worried about Kev not eating than me. I'd seen how rigorous their rehearsals are, and I don't want him to do that without eating a good breakfast.
We got out of the limo and I followed the guys inside the arena and backstage.
I decided that if I was gonna hang around, I should make myself useful. So while the guys practiced I observed some of the crew, and what they did. I even fetched a few tools and other things when a crewmember asked. It felt good to be helping. I didn't feel like I was living off the guys anymore. Yes, technically I
was but it still felt good to help. And I didn't always let them pay everything for me, I mean I'm not that bad!
After about another hour of just hanging around, the guys and I went out for a quick lunch. After lunch they came back and practiced for about 2 more hours, then they headed back to the hotel, to rest up for the show tonight.
"So, were you bored out of your mind today," Kevin asked sitting down next to me.
"Not really. Like I told you and the guys at lunch, the crew had me do some things, and I explored this arena, and just watched you guys of course." I answered.
"Well I'm glad you weren't bored." Kevin said kissing me on the cheek.
"Kev, could I ask you to do me a favor." I asked looking at him.
"What?"
"Is there anyway I could get a job or do something to help out?"
"I'm not sure," he answered truthfully. "Can I ask why?"
"Well, if I work or do something I wont feel so bad." I stated.
"Why do you feel bad?"
"I kinda feel like a free-loader. It feels like you are taking care of everything, doing everything for me, paying for everything." I stated.
"But I want to." He argued.
"I know you want to, but I want to do some of those things to. Look I've never really gone somewhere where I didn't help in some way." I explained. "And here I'm not helping. Ill do anything. I just want to help out in some way." I finished.
"Well Ill talk to the tour director and see whats open." Kevin said.
"Thank you." I replied hugging him.
"Well I wanna take another shower before we leave." Kevin said getting up. "Wanna join me?" he grinned.
"No that's all right. Unlike you I'm not all sweaty and smelly." I joked.
"I'm hurt." He said faking a frown.
"Aww." I said standing up next to him. "I'll make it up to you tonight." I said with a grin.
"Sounds good." He said stealing a kiss then heading for the bathroom.
"Kev, while your in there I'm gonna go see what the other guys are doing." I said.
"All right." He hollered over the water.
I left our room and headed down the hall to Brian and Nick's room. "Bri just let me go." Nick yelled while leaving his and Brian's room.
"Everything all right Nick?" I asked as I passed him.
"I just wanna be left alone for awhile Dustin." Nick said getting ready to walk by me.
I put my hand on his shoulder to stop him. "I'm here if you want to talk." I offered.
"Thanks." He said making a small smile, "I'll remember that." He said walking off.
I continued down to their door and knocked.
"Nick I'm sor--," Brian began to apologize. "Oh," he said stopping, "Hey Dustin, whats going on?"
"Brian we need to talk." I said pushing him back into the room and me entering as well.
"All right...lets talk." Brian said shutting the door to his room.

I hope you have enjoyed this installment of Kevin & Dustin. I know I had a wonderful time writing it.
So, what kind of job is Dustin going to have, if he even gets one? What was the argument between Nick and Brian about? Did Brian tell Nick what almost happened between him Dustin? What are Brian and Dustin going to talk about? Will Kevin ever find out?
I guess you will just have to wait and find out.
