"Here goes nothing" I thought while following him to the Living room.

"Didn't I tell you we were having company?"

"No you didn't. Hey I am Kevin" He extended of hand towards my ex Jake and then to Tyler. (Yes he brought him back again) At least things are going well so far. I would of been better if "pretty boy" was not standing next to Jake.

"Diner is ready" Everybody got up except Kevin. He was just sitting there while we shared out out our food. Wait a minute. I know he does not expect me to serve him dinner like I am a servant or something. Because if that is the case, he is going to starve.

We gather back around the table and he was still sitting there with a smug look on his face. So I did the only thing I could do. I just smiled at him and started eating. Jake and Tyler were looking at us like we were strange, but began eating too.

"Sugar plum, aren't you forgetting something." Sugar plum, do people even use that any more.

"I don't think so" and went back eating.

He waited for a couple more minutes then pushed back from the table and started heading for the front door.I know he wasn't going to do this. He better not do what I think he going to do.

He is going to pay for this.

"Where are you going" I stated trying to say it as pleasant as possible so I don't look suspicious.

"Oh....I am just need to get something out of the car." Then he was gone. I prayed to every god I knew and some that I made up on the spot that he would come back.

One minute.....

Three minutes.....

Five minutes.....

He is trying to make me sweat and he is doing a good job of it. Finally the door re-opened. He stepped back in and was carrying something behind his back. He walked toward me and guess what he did....he gave me flowers. I never received flowers before. Can one man give another flowers because I have no idea.

It would have hit this spot if I did not know where they came from. Mrs. Howell is going to be pissed when she sees someone has picked flowers from her garden. But it is the thought that counts. I guess I will serve him diner just this once.

I put the plate in front of him and sat back down. He looked at his plate then at me.

" Am I suppose to eat with my hands." (your saying no he didn't....Yes he did and with a smile on his face) He acting like he couldn't get up on his two feet and get a fork. But I am the host, so I swallowed my pride and got it for him. As I approach him he still had a smile on his face, so I did what I had to. I slobbered all over that fork and handed to him. Ha take that.

"Damn baby, if you wanted to lick something so bad, all you had to do is ask and I would of give you every inch of it. I am sure these guy wouldn't mind if we disappeared for a while." By the way he was looking at me I know he meant every word he said.

"How did you meet Jason" Jake asked Kevin. Up until then I forgot that they were even there.

" I was at party and I saw him across the room looking so lonely and desperate so I decided I go talk to him. By the way he was hanging all over me I knew I would have him on his back screaming my name and begging me to stop by the end of the night" I choked on my food.

"Excuse me"

"Your excused" Oh I see. He was going to do it like that. I can play that game too.

" I think you have that confused."

"I do."

" Yes you do. You were the one looking lonely and desperate. If I did not come to the rescue and throw you a bone, I don't know where you would have been. By the way your were looking at James's dogs ass, I know I came just in time."

He didn't have a reply for that one.

One battle for him. One battle for me.
