Just A Story - Chapter 10
"Hey! Ready for school tomorrow?"
"Suppose so. How's your new job?"
"It's a job. Pay is real good. The lady is rich; I think she got it from her ex. Who knows? She's got a kid, pretty decent except he's friend with this other kid who's a faggot. It's sick! He's trying to turn this kid into a butt-fucking homo."
"Bummer."
"I'd like to break them up and I know of a way to do it cuz this faggot kid is still in the closet. I need your help."
"Hey, Unc, you know I can't stand homos so what do you want me to do, out him in public?"
"You got it! The kid's name is Paul Downsley."
"Paul Downsley! You are kidding! He's gay? No wonder I hated the little shit! Consider it done!"
"Not so fast, you got to make it look like this other kid told you - you got to get the other kid to tell you that Downsley is a homo. This other kid is Charlie Harrington-Ford. He's very naïve, almost to the point of being dumb, but he's not dumb. Yeah, and while you're about it, there are two other kids, Ray Kendall and Phil Downsley. They are all cousins, and probably butt-fucking each other."
"Kendall! He's a jock! Are you sure he's gay?"
"Yes."

Have you ever gotten yourself psyched up to do something that was going to be really hard for you to confront, like coming out to everyone in school? Well, I was all ready, nervous, but ready. You see, I really love Charlie and not just because he is fine, but it's just him. He has this beautiful innocence about him, yeah, I know he almost seems stupid, but he isn't. He's kind, loving, and a million other good feelings wrapped up in one package called Charlie. So, for him I was willing to risk all and let everybody know that I loved him more than anything and I was gay!
I was nervously waiting for him to arrive at school - you know the drill, check your watch every ten seconds or so. Arrive he did! Whoa! He was like looking at a top model, stepping out of his mom's car. I think he was the only kid who openly gave his mom a kiss on the cheek and a hug before getting out of the car. Anyway he was Mr. CK today, dressed in CK jeans and T-shirt with a short-sleeve silk shirt open and custom Nike sports shoes. The shoes were awesome, I'd seen them in his closet, and his mom's business associate got them while on a biz trip to Japan. He said they made him look taller without being obvious. I didn't understand him until now. Of course I wasn't the only head he turned, a group of girls all stared at him as he walked past them. Thank goodness he had on a pair of Oakleys hiding his gorgeous slate colored eyes or they would have fainted like I nearly do. I don't know, his jet-black hair and those eyes and smile just mesmerize me.
"Hey, dude! Wassup?" Charlie said to me as he lifted the shades off his eyes, a quick wry smile and he added in a whisper, "Miss me?"
"Uh-huh, I want to talk to you privately," I said, taking him by the arm and leading him away from the general populace.
"Yeah, me too," he said, "I stayed up late last night, I made something for you, but more importantly I did a lot of thinking. I love you, Paul. More than anything! I was stupid, I didn't realize the danger you could face - I can take care of myself, but if anything happened to you I'd - I'd die! So you don't have to be out or whatever you call it and I won't either...well, for you I'll try not to."
At that moment I could have kissed him! I didn't, being the coward that I am, but I wanted to. All the nervousness just sort of blew - vanished I felt so relieved! "Dude! Man, I love you!" I said, then I remembered what he said to me as he arrived.
I must have had a really quizzical look on my face because he said it again, "Hey, Dude! Wassup? You okay with that, dude?"
"Dude? Wassup? I never heard you use those words before."
"Right! I was watching this awesome movie with my mom last night - she had to explain half of it to me, but it was really funny. It's about this lady, she has to stop these two angels, bad angels, from getting back to heaven - those dudes were really handsome, specially the one that shoots all these people. Anyway, there are these two dudes that help her stop these other guys - the angels. Well, the non-silent one is always saying 'dude'! I figure it was cool!"
"Oh, yeah, 'Dogma', cool movie!" I said just as the first bell rang. He had to go to the office and I had to get off to homeroom. I said I'd see him at lunchtime if not before.
What a bummer! He has a different lunchtime! Here we are, both juniors, I'm a year ahead, he's two years ahead, so we're the youngest in all our classes, you'd think we'd have one class together! No! Life is just too cruel! If it hadn't been for Ray I would have thought that Charlie had left and gone home, but Ray said he saw him at lunch, he said he was surrounded by a bunch of girls who looked like they were going to devour him. Then he saw Charlie after fifth period and he looked really down.
After school I waited for almost an hour, looking for Charlie, and when I was just about ready to leave, he comes out of the school. He looked really down until he saw me, then he half-smiled.
"Hey, Dude! Wassup?" I asked.
"Paul, just take me somewhere where you can just hold me forever. I've had a really bad day."
We drove to my house because it was closer. I tried to find out what was wrong, but he just shook his head and quietly said, "Me, just me." As soon as we got in the house I grabbed him and pulled him into a hug.
"I really needed you all day. (sigh) Paul, I love you and I missed you. Last night after the movie I-I couldn't sleep, I was up until three a.m." He kissed me on the cheek, then on my neck and started nibbling on my ear. It was driving me crazy and we both had instant boners as we began grinding against each other. He kissed me on the lips and I could feel his tongue gently, almost timidly, pushing my teeth apart. I let him enter and our tongues began intensely caressing and sensuously hugging each other. I felt Charlie's fingers gently playing with my nipples inside my shirt and his hand dropped between us as he began rubbing the crotch of my pants. I unzipped his pants and reached into the grab bag for my prize. I reached into his briefs and wrapped my hand around his dick.
At that very moment with my hand well inside his pants and my hand around his dick, my mom walks in! In my haste to extricate us I find I have in fact pulled his dick right out of his pants. So there we are, me with a definite boner and Charlie with his fully erected dick out of his pants.
"Mom!"
"Paul! Charlie! Oh my!"
And Charlie frantically trying to stuff his dick back into his pants while turning bright red and, to make things worse for poor Charlie, he ejaculated!
"Boys!" exclaimed Mom but when she saw Charlie start to ejaculate she turned around and walked out the door. "When you're cleaned up, let me know, Paul. We all need to talk!"
"This is so embarrassing! I couldn't stop it!"
"Charlie, it's okay, Mom's caught me before, jacking off. I can't say she's used to it, but she's definitely seen a guy cum before! I'm sure she's probably sucked my dad off at sometime or other."
"Really?"
"Yeah. Now let's get you cleaned up!" I gave him a quick kiss on the lips, then left to get some paper towels.
Soon, after all was clean, we found ourselves in the living room, sitting on the couch.
"Charlie and Paul, I am truly sorry for embarrassing you and to ensure it doesn't happen again, here are the rules. I know you two love each other, I know you two are gay, however I don't want to see what I saw today again and I'm sure you don't either, so from now on confine such activities to the privacy of your own room. I don't mind seeing you hold hands or curled up together on the couch, cuddling and watching a movie. The occasional kiss is ok too. But any more than what I've said, I don't want to see. Understood?"
"Yes, ma'am," we replied.
"Good." She smiled, "So, Charlie, would you like to stay for dinner?"
"Yes, but my mom would have to dine alone. Maybe I shouldn't."
"Well, you know, why don't I invite her over for dinner too?" Mom asked.
"Why don't I show you my Sega?" I asked.
"Sure!"

I was really nervous about going to school; not about learning stuff, but about interacting with other kids and teachers. Most people think that's really stupid, maybe it is, but it's uncharted territory. When I saw Paul as I got out of the car, my heart lightened. God, I love him. I stayed up half the night writing something for him in copperscript and a quill pen on real parchment. It's just something about the way I feel about him. I showed it to Mom this morning and she thought it was beautiful; I think she even got a little teary eyed.
I'm the youngest in all my classes and everybody, including the teachers, asks me if I'm lost. Nobody talks to me, but then I don't talk to anybody either. I feel really shy, like I don't belong here. I was hoping to see Paul at lunchtime but he must be in a different lunch period. I miss him so much. I just want to see him. I want him to hold me and never let me go.
The next to last period of the day I have PE. The first thing to go wrong was I suited out into my shorts, athletic shoes, and T-Shirt. So, I arrive late on the playing field. Today it's baseball! Again I feel like a stranger in a strange land. I have no idea how this game is played, what the rules are, and everybody assumes you know. It is the stupidest, most boring game ever, and having stayed up all night, I fell asleep. Next thing I know somebody's nudging me in the ribs, saying, "Hey, it's your turn to bat!"
"Huh?"
"Your turn to bat!"
Somebody handed me a stick they call a bat.
"What am I supposed to do?" I ask the guy.
"Duh! Hit the ball. Are you a retard?"
"Fuck you!" I said. That's a new expression I've heard a lot of guys use so, you know, when in Rome do as the Romans do.
I am standing there and this guy throws the ball. Coach Jenkins screams out, "Steerike One!"
What the hell! Where is this guy coming from, I didn't strike the ball! I watched it zoom past me! Then the guy who I said 'fuck you' to yells, "Way to go, moron! Hit the fuckin' ball!"
The next throw is like six feet away from me. Coach yells but not as loud, "Ball one!" Mr. Fuck You and his buddies are laughing at me, I think.
The next throw, the guy hits me right in the arm with the ball! It hurt! A lot! I threw the bat at him. I nearly got him, but he jumped out of the way. Next thing I know is the coach is standing in front of me, yelling, "What the hell are you doing?"
"He hit me with the damn ball! It hurt! If he hits me with the ball I should be able to hit him with the stick!"
"Stick? Haven't you ever played baseball?"
"I never knew the game existed until today! And I don't like it!", I didn't tell because it was too much like racquetball!
The coach shook his head in disbelief or something, he just said, "Walk to first base."
So I walked to first base. Jacob Townsend was the next batter. He's a quiet sort of guy. I guess like me. He's in a couple of other classes that I'm in. He must be shy because I saw him looking at me in history class and when I smiled he quickly looked the other way. He hit the ball and it went sailing, it was gone. I stood on first, watching it sail by all the field people,
"Run! Get going!" yelled Jacob.
I started running and then said, "Where to?"
"What?" he asked.
"Where do I run to?"
"Home base!"
So I ran straight for home base.
"You're out!" yelled the guy that catches.
"No! I'm not!" I argued.
"Yes, you are!"
"I am NOT, How can I be out - I haven't said a thing!"
"You skipped second and third bases, idiot, you're out!" he said as he started to push me. I guess my martial arts training took over because the next aggressive move he made found him flat on his back with my foot on his throat.
"What the heck are you doing, Ford!"
"He pushed me! I defended myself. I'm not outted!"
"God help us! You are out! OUT of the game! Poor Sportmanship!"
I heard comments like 'what a dildo brain, retard'! Just about everyone was laughing. I was tired and pissed off by this stupid game. The next few words out of my mouth did me in. How was I to know that the new words I'd heard today and been using were not something you say to a coach?
"Well, fuck you, and the name is HARRINGTON-FORD!"
I got yelled at and given detention.
Detention was a waste! The only joy to my day since this morning was seeing Paul waiting for me. I just wanted for him to hold me in his arms, which he did when we got to his house, however we got a bit too passionate. What happened next was too embarrassing for words! Let's just say it was a thousand times more embarrassing than when Ray walked in on us! His mom walked in on us!
I'm glad she's not Coach Jenkins! Or I'd be deaf.
We're having dinner at the Downsleys', Mom and me. She's on her way over with my present for Paul. I hope he loves it!
