"Now, let's go and see that movie." Jason announced.
About thirty minutes later...
"You and your showers." Jason joked as he and JC walked down the stairs. "What do you do in there that takes so long?"
"I'll just have to show you sometime, huh?" JC answered with a grin.
"Don't expect me not to take you up on that." Jason replied with a grin. He quickly stole a kiss as they entered the kitchen.
"We'd best leave a note or something so they aren't too worried about us." JC informed, picking up a pen.
"Gone out with Jason. Be back later. Josh." he scribbled on the note pad by the fridge. "Alright. Let's go."
They made there way outside and down to JC's jeep, still parked at the far end of the garage. As they walked up to his car, Jason looked at JC with a glimmer in his eye. JC smiled as he tossed him the keys. "Yes, you can drive it." he said, answering Jason's unasked question.
"Thanks Josh." Jason replied with a smile, hopping into the driver's seat. He pulled out of the garage and down the long, winding drive. He followed JC's directions and they were soon on the interstate heading towards downtown Orlando.
After they were well on the highway, JC switched on the radio. After switching back and forth between several stations, he landed on a song that Jason recognized very well. The song had been playing for a little bit, but Jason knew it none the less. He pulled JC's hand away from the radio so he could hear the rest of the song.
"...Never thought that love could feel like this, And you changed my world with just one kiss. How can it be that right here with me There's an angel. It's a miracle.
You're love is like a river, peaceful and deep. Your soul is like a secret that I never could keep. When I look into your eyes I know that it's true, God must have spent a little more time on you."
Jason loved this song. It was so beautiful. JC quickly reached down and turned down the volume. "Hey!" Jason exclaimed. JC put his finger to Jason's lips and began to sing the second verse himself. His sweet voice matched in perfect harmony to the soft tunes which still could be heard from the radio.
"In all of creation, all things great and small, You are the one that surpasses them all. More precious than any diamond or pearl, They broke the mold when you came in this world."
Jason turned his eyes from the road for just a moment to see JC staring back at him with his loving blue eyes, pouring forth every word from the warm recesses of his soul. Jason could feel every word peirce his heart as JC continued to sing.
"And I'm trying hard to figure out Just how I ever did without The warmth of your smile, the heart of a child. And deep inside, it leaves me purified.
You're love is like a river, peaceful and deep. Your soul is like a secret that I never could keep. When I look into your eyes I know that it's true, God must have spent a little more time on you.
Never thought that love could feel like this, and you changed my world with just one kiss. How can it be that right here with me There's an angel. It's a miracle.
You're love is like a river, peaceful and deep. Your soul is like a secret that I never could keep. When I look into your eyes I know that it's true, God must have spent a little more time on you.
God must have spent a little more time on you."
As the song came to an end, Jason pulled the jeep off to the side of the road and coasted to a stop. "You're going to have to drive." he told JC.
"Why?" JC asked.
"Because I can't see." Jason answered, turning to JC with tears in his eyes. A single tear broke away from his eye and slowly trickled its way down his face. "That was beautiful Josh."
"I believe it with all of my heart and soul." JC replied, placing his hand onto Jason's face and wiping away the tear with his thumb. He gazed deep into his eyes as he moved in and placed his lips onto Jason's. "I love you Jason." JC told Jason as they seperated.
"I love you too Josh." Jason replied as he wiped his eyes once more. "That actually made me feel better." He leaned over and stole one more kiss. "Alright, I think I can drive now." he said with a laugh.
He pulled back onto the road and continued their journey. Following JC's directions, Jason found his way to the movie cinema. They got out and wandered up to the ticket booth.
"What movie do you want to see?" JC asked putting his arm around Jason.
"You know how much I love that Josh, but you can't be doing it in public." Jason replied, looking down at JC's arm.
"Oh, right." JC answered with a grin. He let his arm slide off of Jason's shoulder and back to his side. "So any ideas?"
"How about 'Pay It Forward'? I hear that one's supposed to be good." Jason responded.
"Sounds good to me. Matinee starts at 12:15. What time is it now?" JC asked.
"A little after 10:30." Jason answered looking down at his watch. "Whatcha wanna do until then?"
"You want to walk around a little while?" he asked in return.
"Sure."
So together they walked through the streets, visiting all of the little shops and stores along the way. They walked and talked, talked as they had so many times before, but this time with a closer, more personal bond than ever before. The time flew by and before they knew it, it was time for the movie and they were headed back to the theater.
JC paid for their way in and they grabbed some popcorn and some drinks before heading into the now dark theater. Jason began heading to the center towards the front of the room where he normally sat, when JC pulled him back towards a dark corner of the theater. Jason looked up at him to find his face cracked in a mischevious grin.
Jason followed JC into the farthest and darkest seats in the whole theater. "You know we can't." Jason told him as they sat down. JC poked his lip out and made the saddest little puppy dog face Jason had ever seen.
"Don't do that to me. You know we can't." Jason repeated with a grin.
"I know." JC whined. "You're only trying to keep us out of trouble. But I don't have to like it." He plopped back in his chair with a pitiful pout on his face. He only sat like that for a moment before cracking into the giggles as Jason sat rolling his eyes at him.
"Shhh." Jason warned. "Let's watch the movie." Jason grasped JC's hand, intertwining their fingers as the previews ended and the movie began.
A couple of hours later...
Jason and JC walked out of the movie theater and back to JC's jeep. "I really enjoyed that." Jason announced as they neared the jeep.
"I enjoyed the company." JC replied, grinning at Jason.
"Awww. You lush." Jason teased, poking JC in the shoulder.
"True, but you love it." JC smiled as they reached their ride. JC looked down at his watch before continuing. "Do you want to go and grab a bite to eat before we head back?"
"Sure. What did you have in mind?" Jason returned.
"I know this place that serves the best homemade burgers you will ever have in your life." JC answered.
"Well, lead on." Jason replied, hopping into the passenger side of JC's jeep. He really didn't feel like trying to find a tucked away little resturaunt in the middle of Orlando. So he was content to let JC drive, although he was happy that he had let him take charge of it for a little while.
JC pulled out of the parking lot and out onto the intersate. After a short drive, they pulled into a the small parking lot of one "Al's". The resturaunt was small but cozy. Jason and JC hopped out of the car and headed up to the door.
Jason, reaching the door first, opened the door and let JC in, who led the way. They made their way inside and sat at a small booth in the corner of the building. A petite waitress in a grease stained apron slowly made her way toward the table with two menus in hand. She dropped them onto the table along with a couple of forks wrapped in napkins.
"What can I get you to drink?" she barked.
"Uh, coke for me, thanks." Jason answered.
"Me too." JC added. The waitress went back behind the counter to fetch their drinks and left the two at the table.
Jason looked around the little resturaunt examining its contents and appearance. "Cozy..." he said with a smile.
"Yeah, with great food too." JC returned grinning. The waitress returned with drinks in hand. She set the on the table before pulling a tattered order pad from the back pocket of her skin-tight, bleached jeans.
"Now, what can I get you?" she asked, pushing her chewing gum out of the way so she could speak.
"Two Al Burgers with fries please." JC announced, handing the menus back to her.
"Alright, anything else?" she returned.
"No thank you." JC answered. She jotted down the order on the pad and headed back to the kitchen, leaving Jason and JC alone in the front section of the resturaunt. JC looked around a moment before rising from the table and grabbing Jason by the hand. "Come here."
Jason took JC's hand with slight hesitation and followed him closely into the small mens restroom. JC pushed the door to and flipped the deadbolt on the door. He turned to face Jason who was now slightly confused about just what JC was up to.
With no warning at all, JC lunged at Jason, pressing him against the restroom wall. With tender, yet ravenous lips, JC kissed Jason's lips and neck. He roamed his hands over Jason's body and pulled him into a tight embrace.
"I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist." JC announced as he pulled away from Jason.
"Don't apologize." Jason answered with a smile. With one more small peck, they headed back out and returned to the table.
The waitress brought out their food and the two began their meal. Jason was really surprised. The burgers that the waitress had brought out actually were the best he had ever had. They were thick and meaty and full of hearty, robust flavor. They were amazing.
"You were right." Jason announced. "These are great."
"I told you so." JC returned with a grin. They wolfed down their meal rather quickly and were just finishing up their fries as the waitress brought them the check. Jason quickly snapped it up from the table before JC could lay a hand on it. He stuck out his tounge at JC as he reached for his wallet.
"Hey!" Jason exclaimed as he felt his empty back pocket. "My wallets gone." He franticly leapt up from the chair and searched all around the seat and nearby aisle.
"Looking for this?" JC asked, waving Jason's wallet in front of him. He slipped the ticket away from Jason as he put Jason's wallet back into his pocket.
"Hey. How did you..." Jason asked in confusion. "You little sneak." It all made sense to him as he remembered their short, yet passionate tryst in the resturaunt's tiny bathroom.
"My treat. You can have it back when we leave." JC answered with a smirk, finding it funny that he had beat Jason at his own game. "You're in my city now."
"I'm just not used to people buying me things. That's all. I'm used to paying my own way, and everyone else's as well." Jason answered as he plopped back down into the booth.
"Well, get used to it." JC replied smiling at his love's poor attempt at pouting. "If it will make you feel any better, Next time I'll let you pay, okay?"
Jason dropped his pouting act and brightened up instantly, playing into JC's little game. "Alright, but only if you promise."
"Promise." JC answered with a smile. Jason smiled in return and let JC pay the tab. The two quietly exited the resturaunt and left the parking lot with JC at the wheel.
"So," Jason began once they were on the road once more. "What are you guy's plans for the next couple of weeks?"
"Well, I don't know about everybody else, but I plan to spend as much time with you as I can." JC answered.
"Aww. You sweet thing you." Jason responded, playfully pinching JC's cheek. "But really, what's on your agenda."
"Just a bunch of R and R, so far as I know. Other than the studio work. We're all going to get together next week for Thanksgiving. I think Lynn is hosting it this year."
"Oh that sounds cool."
"It is. We all have a great time. Everyone brings there families and we all get together and eat and just have a good time."
"Families..." Jason pondered, with a slight hint of worry growing on his face.
"Yeah, don't worry. They'll know by then." JC assured, gripping Jason's hand in his. "Trust me."
"Oh, I do. With all my heart." Jason replied grinning.
"Other than that, I don't think they have anything else planned. We are scheduled to fly out of here that Saturday though."
"Oh, cool. Where are you guys headed now?" Jason asked.
"Las Vegas." JC answered with a grin. "We're co-hosting the Billboard Awards."
"Oh neat." Jason gripped JC's hand once more as he laid his head onto JC's shoulder. He closed his eyes for a little rest and before he knew it, JC was softly nudging him awake. He looked up and found that they were back at the Timberlake home.
"Hey, Sweet. We're back." JC said with a smile. Jason raised his arms above his head and streched as he climbed out of the passenger seat.
"I can't believe I fell asleep." he said laughing. Hand in hand, they walked into the house to find it completely empty. A small note was scribbled beside JC's on the fridge reading "Gone Shopping. Be back 5ish. Lynn."
"Well, it looks like we have the whole place to ourselves." JC announced, with a mishcievous grin growing on his face. "Whatcha wanna do now?" he asked as he wrapped his arms around Jason's waist and pull him close.
"Hmmm..." Jason answered with a slight chuckle as he rested his forearms on JC's shoulders. "What could we do? I know, how about we go upstairs, turn off all the lights, strip down..."
Jason paused briefly, eyeing JC intently, gauging his reaction. The grin on his face was not the only thing that was growing, according to the change in posture he took. "... and take a nice long nap."
JC's jaw dropped in amusement. They both began to giggle before JC stuck out his lower lip. "I was hoping for something more along the lines of, well I don't know... wild monkey sex, maybe."
They both nearly rolled on the floor with laughter at his amusing attempt. Jason smiled before kissing JC on the lips. "I'd love to, but Lynn is supposed to be back in less than an hour, remember?"
JC again began to pout, forcing Jason to speak up again quickly. "I wouldn't mind relaxing and maybe..." he moved his hands down from JC's shoulders and across his chest while continuing, "Making out a little."
"I guess that'll work." JC returned with a grin. Jason grabbed him by the hand and pulled him through the living room and up the stairs, down the hall and into JC's room.
Jason crossed the room and sat down on JC's sofa. He patted the seat beside him and motioned for JC to take a seat. JC plopped down, stretched his feet to the of the sofa, and laid his head in Jason's lap. Jason reached down and ran his fingers through his love's hair before bending over to kiss him.
Their lips tangled and danced over one another as they played back and forth. With loving hands, Jason carressed the warm chest of the angel before him. His tender touch brought moans of pleasure from JC.
Jason sat up, breaking their passionate embrace. He brought his hand up and traced JC's defined facial features with his finger tips, causing him to shiver. "Josh, you are so beautiful." Jason whispered with a smile.
"Oh, you sweet thing." JC answered, placing his hand onto the side of Jason's face. The two of them sat staring into each other's eyes, creating a magical gaze between them.
"Hey, you wanna watch another movie?" JC asked, breaking their gaze as he looked toward the TV.
"Sure, why not?"
JC bounded across the room to grab the remote before hopping back onto the couch and laying his head in Jason's lap once more. He flipped on the TV and pulled up the program menu. "See anything interesting?" he asked.
"Oh, 'Music of the Heart'." Jason suggested. "I have always wanted to see that one." JC changed the channel and revealed the opening opening scenes of the movie. Jason again began running his fingers through JC's hair and softly carresing his face.
The movie progressed, and before long, Jason realized that JC was fast asleep in his lap. He chuckled slightly at his poor tired sweet heart. He reached for Josh's hand and intertwined their fingers as he laid his head back on the sofa and smiled.
