Greetings everyone,

Everyone wants to know what happens next! Well, so do I! :) So here is the follow up to the great coming out. How traumatic will it be? Hmmm... we'll see.

Thanks to everyone who's sent me mail about the story. I love getting the notes of support, even if they only say.. hey like the story!

If you haven't noticed yet, I've started posting the Lance story... titled appropriately enough: Lance's Story. So far the prologue and 2 chapters are up and I'm busy getting others ready while I'm writing this. To be honest, I have already written ahead for Lance and am just editing and rewriting to match better with Jamie's story.

Hope you enjoy both!

As usual: This story is purely fiction and is not intended to imply anything about the true sexuality of 'N Sync or anyone associated with their organization. It is meant for those over the age of 18 only and those who wish to read stories with sexual content.

Make Believe

"Only make believe, I love you,

And only make believe that you love me.

Others find peace of mind in pretending,

Couldn't you? Couldn't I? Couldn't we?

Make believe our lips are blending

In a phantom kiss, or two, or three.

Might as well make believe that I love you,

For to tell the truth I do."

  • Hammerstein II/Kern from 'Showboat' - 1927

"So when do you leave?"

"We fly out on Tuesday and filming starts on Wednesday."

"You scared at all?"

Lance shrugged. "Not really. I'm more anxious that things go ok, just me being an executive producer."

Jamie nodded as they continued walking around small pond at the compound. "I'll miss having you around."

Lance put an arm around Jamie's shoulder. "I'll miss you, too, but it's only six weeks." They took a few steps and stopped at a bench and sat. "You could always come and be my assistant."

"I'd like that so much, but that means leaving Justin alone and with everything that's happening, I should stick around. Besides, I have to work too, you know."

Lance chuckled, his voice deep and carefree. "I understand. I didn't think you could. As it is, I have no idea how much I'm gonna see Josh."

"Don't worry, I saw his scheduler and he's planning a lot of trips to Toronto to see you. Plus we'll all be meeting in LA once or twice. Justin and I will be in Chicago with you when he produces his tracks."

Lance sat back and smiled. "All expensed out, I assume, under the pretext that it will be to help me and Joey record our parts, right?"

"Of course, plus there are the extra side benefits." Jamie leaned his shoulder against Lance and swung his legs. "I'm scared, Lance."

Lance looked over quickly to Jamie. "About?"

"I don't know, just scared."

"Is it about what happens now that the world knows?"

Jamie shrugged. "I guess... not really."

Lance grunted then laughed out loud. "It's about getting married!"

Jamie blushed and looked away. "Is not," he said without conviction. Lance nudged him with an elbow. Jamie giggled then elbowed Lance back. "Ok, ya."

"It's only natural. Just don't let it get to you."

Jamie nodded and left the question in the front of his mind unasked as he glanced at Lance. With a small sigh he wrapped his arms around his friend and hugged him tightly. "I love you, Lance."

Lance smiled and returned the hug. "Love you, too. I don't know if I ever let you know, but I appreciate all you've done the last couple of months. I've been a bit off."

Jamie kissed his cheek and snuggled in close. "We're all allowed." They sat, holding and comforting each other while the late afternoon sun glinted off the water.

JCRULES: 03/02/01 13:24:55 EST

I just wanted to post this on the website. I

have to say that Justin is so brave for coming

out like he did. It took alot of courage and

I hope the person who tried to blackmail them

gets what he deserves.

I call on all NSync fans to write to NSync and

give your support. Write Jive Records, MTV and

anyone else you can think of and let them know

that us fans have a voice and care about our guys.

Let them know that we don't feel that Justin is a

bad person or evil or diseased.

NSYNC is the best and let's keep them there!!!!!!

"Any idea what you and Lance are gonna do?"

JC sighed. "We talked about it until late last night and decided that we'd wait and see how the news hits. If we can help somehow by coming out then we will. If things go smoothly we'll join you soon."

Justin looked closely at him. "How -are- you, Josh?"

JC sat heavily on the grass and looked up at Justin. "Healing, Just." JC wrapped his arms around his knees and stared out over the lawn toward the house.

Justin knelt beside him and wrapped his arms around his shoulders. "Are you gonna be ok with all this."

JC leaned into Justin's embrace and sighed heavily. "Ya," he said after a pause. "Like you, I'm tired of hiding, too. I just hope Lance really forgives me. Do you?"

Justin smiled at his best friend. "I -should- whoop your ass."

They laughed together and held each other close. After a minute, JC turned to look at Justin. "You -do- forgive me, right?" he asked seriously.

"Of course. You've always forgiven me for all the stupid and not so stupid things I've ever done, not to mention all the practical jokes me and Chris played on you."

JC smiled. "Thanks."

"Josh, Lance loves you more than anything. You know that. Yes, he's hurt, but you don't realize how different he is now that you're back. Even though he's troubled about it all, he's still happier. You do that for him."

"Justin, I've loved him for so long."

"I know and I think he's loved you just as long."

"No way..."

"Don't get me started or I will kick your butt." JC put up his hands in mock surrender. "It's just something I've felt. Even though he was dating, I guess it was Brian, I think he still liked you. All that winter and spring before you got together I'd catch him giving you these looks."

JC was staring at Justin with a sparkle in his eye. "Really? You're not just saying that?"

"Josh, I've never ever bullshitted you and I don't intend to start. Since I've had time to look back on things it all seems so obvious." They sat for a few minutes listening to the breeze ruffle the leaves of a nearby tree.

"Just, are you and Jamie really ok?"

Justin looked at JC, a question in his eyes. "We've never been better. Why do you ask?"

"Lance told me about the fight."

Justin nodded. "Ah, ya, that was pretty rough. I felt like my heart was ripped out when he left. I never want that to happen again. I don't think I ever missed you so much that day."

JC ran his hand along the back of Justin's neck. "I know, I'm really sorry. I'll make a promise to you right now that I'll never desert you like that again."

"You'd better not or I'll beat your skinny butt for real." Justin stood with a smile and held out his hand to pull JC to his feet. "Let's go find them. Where'd they go?"

"Around the pond, I think they're at that bench. It's one of Lance's favorite places." Justin took a step but was stopped by JC's hand on his arm.

"What?"

"I just wanted you to know that I'm very proud of you. You, my friend, have some major balls."

Justin smiled and hugged JC tightly. "I love you, Josh."

"Love you too, little brother."

"And here's Gideon Yago with the news."

"Thank you, Carson. Well, it's no secret now that Justin Timberlake has openly admitted that he's homosexual. A live news conference was held today in Orlando. John Norris was there and sends us this report..."

"So, have you decided what you're gonna get him for a wedding present?"

"I think so, but I think it might be excessive."

Lance grinned at Jamie. "That will be a switch. Justin has many faults, but skimping on presents has never been one of them. What is it?"

"Ok, you can know, but it's top secret."

"You know I can keep a secret."

Jamie nodded and reached into his backpack and pulled out a some folded papers. "I'm going to add on to the house."

Lance raised his eyebrows in surprise. "I thought it was perfect for the two of you the way it is?"

Jamie nodded. "Oh, it is. I love it. But sometimes the lack of extra bedrooms is a pain plus I want to add something." He unfolded the papers and showed Lance. "See, I want to add on to the back of the garage. Upstairs will have three bedrooms and a full bathroom. Downstairs, the laundry room will be moved and become a corridor. There will be a home theater like yours and a full studio that will double as a music room. That's the real present."

"Oh, I like it. Looks well planned."

"Yup, they'll start it when we leave for Maine and it should be completely done by the time we get back from the honeymoon."

"How much is this gonna set you back?"

"The construction itself is almost $30 thou. Then I have to furnish it and buy all the equipment."

"How fancy will the studio be?"

"I want it to be the best that money can buy, so we could use it for album quality stuff." Lance nodded. "I guess I'll have to talk to Josh about what to buy for that."

The gears were turning in Lance's head. "Don't you worry about the studio. Josh and I will fill it for you with everything you need."

"Lance, no!"

"Hush. I was having a hard time trying to decide what to get you guys for a present and this is perfect."

"I suppose it's no use trying to talk you out of that."

"None whatsoever."

JC's voice interrupted them as he approached. "Are you two behaving yourselves?"

Jamie smiled up at Justin and reached out his arms. "Hi there, cute stuff."

Justin grinned and sat on Jamie's lap. "Hey, Josh, look what I found!" They all giggled and Justin kissed Jamie lovingly. "What are those papers?"

Jamie smiled and folded them neatly and put them away. "Nothing that you need to see, nosy!"

Justin pouted and tilted his head a little. "Can't I see?"

Jamie squeezed his eyes shut. "Stop that! You know what that look does."

"He knows very well, that's why he uses it," Lance chuckled beside them. JC sat on the arm of the bench and started running his fingers through Lance's spikes.

"That's alright, I have my surprises too," Justin said with a chuckle. He leaned in close and rubbed his nose against Jamie's. "Can we go home now?"

Justin'sgurl: I can't believe that it's really true! Lancestoy: Believe it... why would he lie about something like that. BSBFan: I knew it all along, it was so obvious Lancestoy: We aren't all as smart as u, bsbfan... ::snicker:: Justin'sgurl: But why? NSYNCROCKS: get over it gurl... not like he'd marry you anyway Justin'sgurl: But I could always hope BSBFan: Rocks is right, it doesn't matter... If I liked them, not saying

I do, that wouldn't change Justin'sgurl: I can't listen to them anymore. Ugh, he's gay! Lancestoy: And what's that got to do with it... I like NSync because

their songs are cool... do you like Elton John? Justin'sgurl: Ya but he's different Lancestoy: I know... you have no dreams of dating Elton John.. get over

it gurl... it was never gonna happen anyway NSYNCROCKS: I like their music and that they're really nice guys Lancestoy: Ya none of that's changed... BSBFan: They're right... if you like them for some other reason then

you're really not being a true fan... music is the key thing

They were about halfway home when Jamie's cell phone rang which he answered promptly.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Jamie, it's Brian Littrell."

"Oh, hi there. What can I do for ya?" Jamie mouthed to Justin who it was. Justin raised his eyebrows in surprise then smiled. He leaned in to Jamie so he could listen in.

"Well, I saw the news conference and had to give you a ring. I must say, I'm pretty impressed with you two."

"Well, it still hasn't been decided yet whether it was brave or very stupid."

Brian chuckled. "I think it was brave. I just wanted you to know that we support you 100 percent."

"We?"

"Well, most of us anyway. But majority rules and Backstreet will support you guys if we can."

"We really appreciate that Brian."

"Anytime. So we'll see you in a couple of weeks, right?

Jamie was a little surprised to hear that. "You mean you still want me to play for you."

"Of course, this doesn't change anything. You were out before this, now you just have a high profile boyfriend."

"I don't know what to say, Brian."

"Well then, just say 'see ya later and bye.'" Brian joked.

Jamie giggled. "Ok, see you soon. Bye, Brian, and thanks again."

"No problem, buddy. Bye."

Jamie shut off his phone and looked up at Justin in wonder. "Well, Backstreet will be behind us, as much as they can without seeming to backtrack on the rivalry thing."

Justin snorted. "I guess that's all we could've hoped for. That's ok, as long as they don't start taking pot shots at us in the press."

Jamie shook his head. "Doesn't sound like they will. They're not -that- stupid. The last thing they need at this point is to piss off their gay fans."

"So did I understand right, you still got that weekend in Mexico City?"

"They haven't fired me."

Justin nodded and put his arm around Jamie's shoulders and hugged him close. They sat in silence, deep in thought for the rest of the ride.

"... And our top story tonight, one of the music business' biggest stars has come out of closet. Justin Timberlake, one of the lead singers from the Pop group, NSync, admitted today to being homosexual. Citing a blackmail attempt as his reasons for coming forward, he..."

"It's been a long day, huh?"

Jamie nodded numbly and kicked off his sneakers. "I knew it would be rough with interviews and stuff, but that was real tiring. You do this almost everyday during a tour... with a show! How do you survive?"

Justin smiled and stood behind Jamie, kneading his shoulders. "You learn to live with it, I suppose."

Jamie moaned as Justin's strong hands eased his achy muscles. "That feels so good. Thanks."

"Anytime." Justin moaned when Jamie reached back and stroked his inner thigh through his jeans. "Now -that- feels good."

"I know something that feels better..."

Justin smiled and kissed the side of Jamie's neck. "I bet you do."

They slowly stripped each other's clothes until they were standing in the middle of the room completely naked. Justin ran a finger along Jamie's collarbone. "You are so beautiful," he whispered. He reached out and pulled Jamie against him.

Their lips met and all of Jamie's aches and worries disappeared. The feel of Justin's warm skin against his drove him wild with desire. Gently pushing, Jamie guided Justin over to the bed and eased them down on top of the crisp sheets. Jamie broke the kiss with a gasp. "I've wanted to do this all day."

Justin's reply strangled into a groan as Jamie kissed and licked his way down Justin's chest. "Mmmm, ya sweet pea."

Justin tasted good as usual, slightly soapy and salty, with a dash of cologne. It was enough to make Jamie drool as he licked around Justin's nipples. He loved how Justin shivered under him as he moved between the two, keeping them hard. A loud groan from Justin let him know that he should move on.

Jamie continued down, stopping at Justin's belly button. He licked around the hairs growing there as his hand grasped Justin's erection and started lightly stroking. "You taste so good," he panted as he kissed his way down to the pubic hair. Justin was rock hard in his hand and throbbing with his heart beat.

"Jamie... " Justin's voice trailed off into another groan as Jamie's tongue traveled up the shaft and took a few easy swipes at the leaking slit. "Oh God!"

Jamie held onto the base of Justin's dick with one hand while the other played with Justin's balls. He'd been looking forward to tasting Justin like this and was relishing every second. He knew Justin was very excited and he could make him cum very easily. Using his tongue he licked at the underside of Justin's head repeatedly making Justin tremble in delight.

Jamie truly enjoyed pleasuring Justin, knowing his responses almost better than his own. He loved the way Justin's stomach would tense and release as his excitement grew, how his legs would stretch and move the closer he came to release. He continued to lick at Justin's head continuously cleaning it of the oozing precum.

"Do you want to cum, JuJu? Is that what you want?" Justin groaned in assent and nodded his head. "I love how you taste." Jamie's tongue went into overdrive around the swollen knob making Justin tense all over. He licked at the underside like an ice cream cone and pushed Justin over the edge.

With a shout, Justin started to cum. Jamie licked greedily as the cum started to ooze from the tip onto his lips and tongue. Justin tensed again and shot a stream into the air that landed on them both. Jamie quickly caught the pulsing head in his mouth and took the rest. When Justin had stopped shooting, Jamie crawled up beside him and lay down, snuggled into his side.

Justin lay there breathing heavily, sparks lighting his vision. When he finally got control again he looked down at Jamie, half laying on him. "It's your turn now, sweetie."

Jamie murmured and hugged Justin tightly. His deep breathing let Justin know he was quickly falling fast asleep. Justin smiled and pulled the sheet over them. "Good night, my love." He kissed Jamie's forehead and settled down. He smiled to himself, knowing that in the morning it would be Jamie's turn judging by the erection poking into his leg.

"Hello there. Carson Daly here with your TRL. Lot's of happenings in the world of music as we count down the top 10 videos that you voted on. Our special guest today is Fred Durst, we have a new video from Samantha Mumba and we talk on the phone with Justin Timberlake and the rest of NSync. Stayed tuned, it's Monday, March 5th here on TRL."

"You ready for this?" Johnny asked. Justin nodded and Jamie smiled at him.

"It's pretty simple, he'll ask a few questions and you answer them as honestly and fully as you want," Mel prompted.

"I know, I just hope I don't lose my temper and call him out," Justin grumbled.

"But we don't have any proof it was him..." Joey began.

"Bullshit!" Chris spat. "Who else? He's been so smug about the whole thing. You saw the short interview ABC did with him this weekend. He makes me sick."

"Good thing you aren't talking today, then," JC laughed rubbing Chris' shoulder. Chris grunted in response.

Lance handed the phone to Justin. "Ok, they're all set. We just have to wait until it's time."

"Hey, we're back. My friend Fred Durst is still hangin' here with me. So, Fred, alot happened over the weekend. Did you hear the news from NSync on Friday?"

"Sure did Carson."

"So what are your thoughts? Do you know NSync at all?"

"I've met them a few times during award shows and stuff and always thought they were alright guys. Seem real serious about what they do and I can respect that. Even though it isn't my thing, I don't hold anything against gay people. I know some and they aren't any different from anybody else. Wish him the best, it must be hard dealing with this. More power to him."

The audience applauded and cheered approval of Fred's statement. Carson looked at Fred in slight surprise which he quickly covered.

"You bet, well said. We have Justin and the guys on the phone right now. Hey, Justin, you just hear what Fred said?"

"Sure did. Hey Fred, thanks, man. I appreciate it," Justin's voice broke through into the studio.

Jamie played through the change over and over as JC fiddled intently with knobs and slides. The look of concentration on his face made Jamie giggle. Jamie doubted that JC even remembered that he was in the room at this point. If he just stopped playing, he could see JC hitting switches to see why the music stopped.

Work was going at full pace on songwriting and recording. Even with Joey and Lance having been gone a whole week so far, they had already recorded 8 songs and had 4 others in the works. Whenever Jamie had some free time he'd hang around the studios the guys had rented.

Jamie tried to ease the monotony. "So when does your flight leave?"

JC turned his head in Jamie's direction, his eyes lost their concentrated look and softened with sparkles in the corners. "Last flight tonight."

Jamie giggled. "You miss him, huh?"

JC nodded. "So much." JC started laughing and pointed to the door.

Jamie looked over and saw Justin doing a blowfish imitation against the glass. He shook his head. "Is it too late to trade in for someone else?" They giggled as Justin came into the room after JC gestured it was ok.

"Hey there! What are you guys doing?"

"Working," JC said in a mock serious tone.

"I'm just playing these 4 chords over and over and have no idea why. Josh, why are you giving me tendonitis?"

JC smiled. "You can stop."

Justin stood behind Jamie and started kneading his shoulders. "Something tells me you could've stopped half an hour ago."

"For his sake, that better be wrong."

JC's smile was wider. "Well, more like 5 minutes ago... but it helped, listen." JC pushed a few more switches and a pulsing beat came through the speakers.

"Hey, that sorta sounds like..."

JC nodded. "Ya, that song we wrote with Alex and Brad. Alex told me what he wanted to do and I put in your suggestions and this it."

"Is this the wall one?" Jamie asked.

Justin leaned down and kissed his temple. "Ya. I know you don't like that one too much." JC raised his eyebrows.

"It's an ok song... I just don't like the idea of some slut pushing my man up against some wall and taking advantage of him."

They all laughed and JC slapped Jamie's knee.

Justin wrapped his arms around Jamie's shoulders and kissed his cheek. "How about I let you push me into a wall and you can do what you like."

"Now that's a song I can get into!" Jamie said with a broad smile. They both looked over to JC who was blushing.

"My, Josh, what an interesting shade of red," Justin kidded.

Jamie tilted his head. "Something tells me that Lance is gonna be reeeaaal busy tonight."

JC's blush intensified. "Get out of here, you two and get back to work."

Justin patted JC's shoulder on the way out and Jamie pinched his cheek. As the door closed they heard JC giggle and smiled to each other

"You up for a little public viewing?"

"Sure, what do you have in mind?"

"It's lunch time!"

"This is Sway with MTV News. NSync member, Justin Timberlake, continues to make news after his announcement of being a homosexual. He has given large donations to the National Pediatric Aids Foundation, GLAAD and the National Chapter of PFLAG. His revelation has sent ripples throughout the music industry with many taking sides either for or against.

Jive Records president, Barry Weiss, has stated that he and Jive fully support Justin and NSync. According to the group's management, positive letters of support have far outnumbered the negative ones. Stay tuned on March 28th for a special edition of Ultrasound featuring the group in conjunction with MTV's Fight for Your Rights: Take A Stand Against Discrimination.

This is Sway, stay tuned for more news every hour at ten to. Peace out."

"So I called that lady back and told her that you couldn't possibly do that interview next weekend because you'd be in LA for 5 days. She offered to meet you there so I told her I'd check with you."

Jamie thought for a second before munching into his burger. "That should be fine. I won't be that busy while we're there."

Paul had proven his usefulness in other areas other than being a bodyguard. He willingly volunteered to intercept and organize all the requests for Jamie's time because of the coming out. In conjunction with Mel and her staff, he had started acting as the couple's personal secretary.

Everyone was pleased with his performance, especially Jamie. He didn't want to deal with the numerous requests for appearances, interviews and statements. Paul handled it all efficiently and didn't at all let it effect his guarding duties. Even while he was talking about the latest request, his eyes never stopped roaming the crowd.

"When do we tape the MTV things?" Justin asked.

"The fourth day you're in LA after dinner. The last day you do the tribute to Janet Jackson."

Justin nodded and winked at Jamie. Even with a mouth full of fries, Jamie couldn't help but understand the unspoken 'love you' that Justin sent him.

Lonnie stood and talked to two girls heading quickly to their table. After a few brief words, he turned and looked over to Justin. Justin smiled and waved to have Lonnie let them come.

"Oh my God! It's really you!" one girl gushed. The other stood at her side, quietly smiling.

"What can we do for you today, ladies?" Justin turned on the charm and it worked. The quiet one spoke up.

"We love you guys. Your music is just so cool. Can we get your autograph?" She held out a piece of paper and a pen and waited anxiously.

"Sure, what are your names?" Justin listened carefully and wrote two separate messages for the girls.

Once they got the paper back, they beamed and thanked him over and over. "Oh and we're true fans. Just because you're... gay..." one said, lowering her voice on the word, "doesn't mean we don't like NSync anymore."

"Thanks, girls, we really appreciate that, don't we, Jamie?" He put a hand on Jamie's shoulder and squeezed gently.

Jamie's head snapped up and looked surprised at Justin. "Um.. ya sure."

"He's a little shy," Justin said with a smile.

The girls smiled politely at him. "Well," one of them finally said, "it was nice meeting both of you. Thanks for the autograph."

"Anytime, girls." They left giggling to each other.

"I guess I need to get more used to that. The usual walls went up and when you touched me I almost died."

Justin smiled. "No more walls. We don't have to worry about that any more."

They drove back to the studio and saw a sight they'd been expecting but also dreading as well. A handful of protesters were standing with signs on the sidewalk outside the front doors of the studio.

Jamie sighed and held Justin's hand. He sadly read the signs as they passed: 'Gay is against the bible' 'Lie not with other men' 'Families with values against gays' and 'NSync promotes bad morals.'

"Stop the car, Paul," Justin said suddenly.

Paul slowed and pulled over. "What's wrong?" Lonnie turned in his seat and looked through all the windows.

"Justin?" Jamie asked in a scared voice.

"Today we go in the front door. I'm not hiding."

"Is it safe?" Jamie asked.

Lonnie got off his radio. "It is. The police are keeping it under control. The other guys are by the side door."

"Have them meet us."

"Justin, what are you doing?" Jamie asked getting alarmed.

"Showing everyone that I'm don't scare easily, won't be intimidated and -not- ashamed of who I am."

Lonnie looked at him and smiled. "It seems the guys have been busy. A large group of fans is just around the corner with their own signs."

Justin and Jamie smiled and nodded. "Ok, let's do this." Justin opened the door and pulled Jamie out onto the sidewalk with him. They waited until Paul and Lonnie were with them and started down toward the front entrance. Just before they reached the protesters they were joined by the other guys and their bodyguards.

"Are you sure this is a smart thing to do?" Jamie asked, looking around.

"Probably not, but they can't feel like they won," Chris replied.

"We're all in this together," JC said with conviction. He draped an arm around Jamie's shoulders.

The protesters saw them and started chanting. 'Say no to GAY!'

Justin tensed all over and Jamie squeezed his hand. JC patted Jamie's shoulder and dropped his arm to his side. Justin turned and looked the protesters straight in the eye, Jamie by his side, their fingers interlocked.

The media had been alerted and two television crews were present and several photographers. The lights went on and the cameras clicked.

"God hates all sinners!" one man yelled.

Justin just shook his head. "If you truly believe that then I feel sorry for you and I'll pray for you."

"You don't pray," the man continued, "probably never been to church."

Justin stepped forward and everyone tensed. "I was raised in the faith. It's true that I haven't been lately, I worship God in my own way."

Jamie walked up to the man and looked at him sadly. "Do you have a family?" he asked simply.

The man nodded. "Yes, I've been married for 15 years and have 3 children."

"Why are you really here?"

The man had no ready answer for that. After a few seconds he replied. "We fight the devil wherever he is found."

Jamie shook his head. "You say that we're going to hell. You've made that judgment and you don't know anything about us as people."

"I don't have to know you to know that what you're doing is wrong."

"What am I doing?"

"Sinning."

With a sigh, Jamie took a step back. Justin took up where Jamie left off. "I truly feel sorry for you. There is nothing but love in my house. We share everything and don't hate anyone for who they are. Can you say the same?"

"You will pay when you go to the last judgment!"

Justin smiled. "As I'm sure we all will but that's between me and God and doesn't involve you. You're going against one of Jesus' most precious lessons."

"How dare you say that we don't follow the Lord."

"I didn't say that. But you are judging me and the others and Jesus very specifically said 'Judge not lest ye be judged.' I'm not ashamed about how I'm living my life and it's no concern of yours."

"Well, we'll see when your fans turn against you, just how proud you are."

Just at that minute the group of fans rounded the corner, waving their signs and chanting. Jamie smiled, there must have been at least three dozen of them and their timing couldn't have been more perfect.

Justin turned back to the man and smiled broadly. "I have no worries about our fans. I know they support us."

The group lined up opposite the original protesters and shouted down their chants with those of their own. They outnumbered the other group and had no trouble burying them in sound. The guys went through and shook hands and signed autographs. Many of the girls blushed as Justin went through the line with Jamie at his side, but they all grinned and shook Jamie's hand too, commenting on how lucky he was.

The religious protesters soon saw that they would never get their message across with the situation as it was and slowly packed up and left to the cheers of the fans.

Justin motioned for the crowd to quiet down so he could speak. The TV crews crept up to him with their microphones. Justin nodded and Lonnie waved them forward. "I want to thank all of you for showing up here today. I take it this is part of the Orlando Fan Club?"

"YEEESSSS!" the group yelled as one.

"Send the word out to all the groups, NSync won't tolerate hate or discrimination of any type. We urge all our fans to promote understanding and acceptance for everyone: young, old, black, white, gay or straight."

The group cheered again. Justin smiled and hugged Jamie as flashbulbs went off all around them.

"Calling for greater understanding, NSync member, Justin Timberlake, addressed fans outside an Orlando studio where they are busy recording the group's next album.

Religious protesters were picketing the building when Timberlake, his friend, Jamie Campbell and band members JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick entered the building. Some words were exchanged between Justin and the protesters when a large group of fans, reported to be part of the Orlando fan club, showed up to support NSync."

"NSync won't tolerate hate or discrimination

of any type. We urge all our fans to promote

understanding and acceptance..."

"NSync's next album is slated to be released in June or July and their summer tour, name the Pop Odyssey is scheduled to start mid May. On the national front, President George Bush..."
