On the drive to dad's cabin he was strangely quiet and I asked if he was ok? Mike, I'm still marveling at how you flew the plane and how relaxed it made you. Dad, it's my favorite thing to do and my favorite place to be. Dad, you won't remember but a long time ago, I told you I wanted a cabin here and I hope you are not pissed off but you will find two log cabins almost finished, one is mine and one is Cole's. Dad started to laugh and he said Michael, when I first started the Trust you taught me a very important lesson which was never sign anything without reading it. Brian tried and I let him think he slipped it by me but I own the property you built on and yes, I signed off on every aspect. I just wanted to give you the opportunity to show me on your own terms. Oh, I'm not in a helicopter just a very aware and concerned rent. I laughed at rent and said well I guess I'll need another one for Ashley? Dad simply said her palace is already built and you are not tearing it down, it's all in the terms of my will. Mike, I'm totally good and can't wait to see what you built. I did approve the plans but didn't look at them at all.
We pretty much drove in silence and when I pulled in the drive I noticed dad more alert. We rounded the bend and he immediately looked to the right and when the cabins came into view he sat straighter in the seat. When he is focused he does that but I had no idea if it was good or bad but he reacted. He looked at me and asked are these two the same. Dad, they were but Cole could have made changes. Mike, yours is on the right, correct? I said correct and we started towards the cabin, which as I expected was finished outside. There were workers finishing inside and dad went in first and stopped in the doorway. Dad was blocking the door and I couldn't get in and he turned, went outside and sat on the top step. He looked at me and he looked like he just saw a blast. Mike, who did these plans? Dad I did, is there a problem? Mike, did you use a local builder or architect? Dad, there were none and the builder is an Amish guy from Maine. There wasn't an architect as he had base plans and I adjusted them. Mike, did you ever see pictures of the place that burned down or talk with Adam about them? Dad, I have no idea what was here before and you might remember this place was a damn secret. Now what's going on?
Dad looked up and patted the porch beside him, indicating I should sit down. Mike, are you sure you didn't see pictures of the old place? Dad I am and none of my people knew about this place, hell I had to send directions. Mike, I had you here twice you were 2 and 3. I don't know how the fuck it happened but your place and the original cabin are virtually identical. I haven't looked but I'm betting there are 2 large bedrooms on each side and 2 of them have a fantastic view of the lake. The only difference is you added bathrooms. Then there is that wrap around deck and the damn railing is an exact copy. Dad, I met with the builder and in about an hour we had the floor plan down. Most of the time was spent on the location of the fireplace. I looked at dad and said, this place was special the first time I stepped out of the rental van. I just couldn't figure out why and those two visits 15 and 16 years ago must have been very special. We went outside on the deck in the back, dad lit a cigarette and I took one and lit it and we just looked at the lake in complete silence. When dad finished his cigarette he simply went inside and threw the butt in the fireplace and went outside. I did the same and we walked to Cole's cabin. The door was still open and inside it was my turn to blink as it was the same except the left side on the first floor was walled off with a glass wall and in that area was a complete golf practice facility. A net to hit into, cameras and the latest golf simulator and I laughed when Augusta National was the only course listed. I looked at dad and he smiled and said Mike, Cole has connections up the ass and there is someone watching his armature status. Dad looked at me and said, I don't see any way I can stop him from turning Professional on is 18th birthday. I looked at dad and said well that will be what it becomes. Let's eat, I'm starving.
Dad said I'm driving and I know a spot. I laughed and said somehow I knew that. The place was at the other end of town and was very small and I'm sure very romantic for dinner. I had lake trout, pan fried and a salad and dad to my absolute surprise ordered the same. He ordered a beer and asked if I wanted one and I shook my head and said not unless you want to spend the night, I have to fly us back. I'll have an iced tea. We had a great relaxing meal and drove to the airfield and it was the same process and we were shortly on our way home. Dad finally told me everything about the old cabin and his dad, my grandfather. It was interesting as I was interested the the grape part of the story and grandfather's connection with Charlie. We landed about 5:15 and I asked dad for my Log Book and entered the days activity. At the car dad took the book and was carefully reading. I was driving and just waiting for what was bothering him. Finally as we sat at a traffic light he asked Mike, what does all this cost? Dad, today cost about $400 and that was basically fuel and airfield fees. Mike, who pays for all this? I laughed and said well today, I do. Other times it depends on why we are flying. I'm going back up there Sunday and Enterprises is paying as there is Winery business. Dad, the accountants manage all that and I don't spend money on anything else. He said Mike, I am aware. I took a big deep breath and said thanks but you need to park the helicopter. Dad laughed and said, wait till you have kids. I was quiet for a minute and then said well it could be worse mom could have raised me like she raised Bill. Dad, just stared forward and I might have crossed a line. At home we hugged in the driveway and we went our separate ways.
As soon as I got in my room I called Brian and we chatted about things and he asked so what do you need? I said an independent audit of flight operations. Also a separate department to manage that entire operations especially with the new Jet. Talk with Major Jim and let's get this done ASAP. Also, have the Major get everyone's log books and let's understand this shit show. Oh, tell Jim I'll copy my log book and he will have it by noon tomorrow. Ok Mike, what brought this on? Brian, a simple question dad asked. Mike it must been have been a hell of a question, what was it. Brian, dad looked at my log book and asked me who pays for all this? Truly I don't know and I'm not sure anyone does. I said thanks and I'll make my meeting with Kyle short.
A few minutes later Coach called and asked how I was. I said well I'm good and I'll have an excuse for school from the doctor. Mike, that's great but if you don't practice tomorrow you are not playing Friday. That would be a week with no contact and that isn't smart. I was shaking my head and said I'll be there and I'm good to go. Mike were these two day off necessary? Coach, the doctor thought they were and I hung up furious. Just when things were settled gremlins appear. Can coach possibly be this old school? If so the program will crash and burn. Again it will be what it becomes and I'll be in fucking Virginia. It was time to have a sit down with Coach Carson.
I reviewed things for school and then was doing math when JJ called and said he was on his way over. I said great and wondered about the heads up. It was only a few minutes and he flew in and went right to the refrigerator grabbed two beers, handed me one and said MJ, I don't care if you are fucking dying you can't miss two practices in a row again. I'll looses my mind. JJ, I'm aware as coach called and said if I wasn't there tomorrow I can't play Friday. With that I took his beer away from him pushed him back on the loveseat and pulled down his shorts and started to suck and lick his cock and balls and he was moaning and quickly said, fuck you bastard I'm going to cum. Not wanting the I stopped what I was doing and grabbed his balls with one hand and pulled hard and he yelled and I slapped what was remaining of his hard on and he was soft again. I simply started all over again. This time JJ was having none of the edging and when I had him cock almost all the way in my mouth he grabbed the back of my head and pushed it all the way down my throat. With his cock still in my mouth he stood up, looked down at me on my knees and said, so you want to play games? I frustrated and horny and he fucked my throat until he short a load on his terms as deep in my throat as he could.
He looked down at me and smiled and said MJ, you are a mess and he pulled me to my feet and started to lick my face clean of the tears, slobber and snot which were what remained of the intense face fucking I had ever had. We were just sitting there and he said MJ, your turn what do you need? I thought for a minute and said to fuck and breed a red ass. He stood up knelt on the seat cushion and leaned over the back of the loveseat. I went to the bedroom and grabbed a belt. I stood behind him and swung the doubled up belt as hard as I could and when it hit his ass he yelped and then said MJ, you said red not bruised. I laughed and swung again and this time he screamed and I laughed and said I misspoke. Then I let up and his ass was nicely red, well with two welts. I knelt down and ate his ass and when I thought it was wet enough I fucked him as hard and as long as I could until I shot a load in that nice red ass.
By this time the beers were warm so I dumped them and got cold ones. JJ laughed at that saying, damn things have changes as we toss beer because it's warm. The I asked JJ, are you ok? He smiled and said well, now I am and I'm sorry but sometimes kinky wild sex I'd just what we need. I leaned in and kissed him and said, well it worked for me tonight. We talked about the football issue and we agreed that we needed to talk with Wyatt's grandfather and to do it on the DL. We hugged and made out some and it was getting late and JJ simply went home. I was wishing he could stay but it was what it was. I did what I could with English and simply jumped into bed after prepping the coffee and setting the alarm.
The morning brought unusually cold weather weather but the long hot shower was perfect. I had to dress for the code at work and it was long pants, and a Nike polo shirt. On the way out the door there was an envelope taped to the door and it said; I GOT YOU BACK and it was signed Dad. I looked and it was my excuse for the two days. I grabbed a pen, wrote thanks on the envelop and put it under is windshield wipers and drove to school. Heather was there and said OMG it's alive and even walking. Then she added, so you had an issue with your hands and couldn't make a call I laughed and kissed her and said, hell it even talks. She laughed and we went to our separate classes. Well first I went to the office with the excuse and was asked to see Coach Weston when you have a minute. With that it was a very normal day and I skipped lunch, signed out for work.
At the new building Liam was waiting and he had an entire list of shit as the people were still adjusting to the new building and an actual elevator. I was impressed how well things had gone and I asked about Dillon and was told he is off the rest of the week. Liam laughed and said something about class and sleep. The meeting with Kyle centered around health care and that Maggie was negotiating with UPMC and Highmark. I laughed and said I'll let John know tomorrow. As soon as we were finished Liam appeared and said Brian and the Major would like to meet in the large conference room. On the way I stopped in the break room and got a coffee and an energy bar out of the Machine.
In the conference room I saw the Major and Brian and someone I didn't know. I went in and went to the stranger and said, good afternoon, I'm Mike Simmons. We shook hands and he said he was Jim Hardymon, chairman and CEO of Textron. I simply sat down and introduced Liam and indicated he sit at the table, next to me. I looked at Brian and the Major and asked, so what is this meeting about or are we reworking the jet deal. Jim, started to laugh and said I was told not to underestimated you. Jim, so I hope you enjoyed you trip to Latrobe, did you have time for golf? Jim, smiled and said yes. To keep control of the conversation I dropped my last bit of information and asked so when is the acquisition of Cessna complete? Jim shook his head and replied early January. Jim, by the way I'm not interested in a helicopter. Jim must have had enough and said, good because I'm not here to talk about Bell Helicopters.
Well Jim, I am here to figure who all is flying the 2 planes we currently lease and the costs and who is paying. You are an unexpected, yet interesting participant. Jim, looked at me and said, can we both just stipulate we have for various reasons checked each other out and get some work done? I found that funny and said absolutely. Brian and the Major to this point had just watched and listened. Jim continued and said as we were negotiating with Cessna we saw in quick order two orders for the new VI jets. One we understood as Mr. Palmer is a long time Cessna fan. Your order was from our point of view somewhat out of the blue. Then we realized there was a relationship with the Cessna people and the Major. I'll be honest, we never would have made that deal with you. We will however honor it. I thought well you bet your sweet ass you will but sat quietly. Mike, we became aware of you lease with the two Cessna's you currently have and would like to fold that into our deal with the Jet. I asked, ok why would that happen? Mike, you are a lot smaller than us but are growing and expanding at a rate 2 or 3 times the rate of our expansion, you have government contracts that rival ours and there is that NASA connection that we can't even touch. I just shrugged and said Jin, we are not for sale, regardless of the offer. Mike, I know that. I'm prepared to give you new versions of the planes you currently lease outright in return for a full blown advertising campaign. That would include public appearances and print interviews and ads. Some of these would be with Mr. Palmer. We plan on taking full advantage of you football and business activities. You are young but there are so many connections with the USGA and PGA. There is also your relationship with ABC news and that space you occupy, rent free, in the head of one of their top on air people. Oh, I am also aware of the Citation IV comment you snuck in during the latest TV interview.
I smiled and said Jim, I don't have that much star power and you know it so what's the catch? Jim said Mike while you underestimate you star power, as you put it, you have expanded a company and built two great buildings in a completely rotten economy. I will however ask that your developing flight school with the two Majors, include the Jet and the other two planes. I looked at Jim and then the Major and Brian and said, I'm really not sure I want to mess with the Jet deal and I'm not sure at all about the rest as there are a lot of moving parts. Jim, I would ask that Kyle be involved in this and that you or your people work with the Major, Brian and Kyle and let's tie some of these moving parts down and talk again. I assume this will all start once you close the Cessna deal. I stood, shook Jim's hand looked at my guys and said thanks but we need the other issue resolved as well. I was sure everyone was wondering what just happened but this was all, in my opinion, a shit show. I simply left and Liam followed me.
As soon as we were away from the conference room I looked at Liam and asked, thoughts? He said Mike, it seemed two generous to be valid and there is more to it, I'm just not sure where your guy's are in all this. I smiled and said thanks but was thinking exactly the same thing. I then asked Liam to finalize the lunch with John Carson and he laughed and said damn, it slipped my mind as John asked to have it moved to Friday and he suggested South Hills. I smiled and said, schedule a working lunch with Brian and the Major and order lunch for the 4 of us. Liam asked, what should I order? I said prison food for two and something decent for you and me and Liam laughed out loud.
I grabbed my laptop and started to the parking lot and Major Jim stopped me and I said I'm late but walk with me to the car. He immediately said Mike, I didn't know any of that as it was presented as a meet and greet. It was to be 15 minutes. I stopped and said Jim, I knew you and Brian would never present such a cluster fuck to me. I'm good but we need to talk about this and the flight department. Liam is scheduling a working lunch as my day tomorrow just freed up. Please find Kyle and have him attend and let Liam know to order a 5th lunch. He started to walk away and I yelled Jim. He turned around and I said I'm good and never doubted you two.
I drove to school and was there in plenty of time for practice, so I went directly to the couches office and knocked. Coach looked up and waved me in. I said you wanted to see me? Mike, I wanted to see you around 8:00 this morning. Coach, the message I got was to see you when I got the chance. This is the first chance I've had. There is more to me than school and football. Coach looked at me and said well that is very obvious. Where is your excuse for the two days you were absent. I mentally counted to 10 and said, at the attendance office where it belongs. Anything else? He just picked up the phone to check and I left closing the door harder than necessary. I simply dressed in full pads and went and sat on the bench and worked on calming down. I had zoned out and then realized that someone was sitting beside me and sure enough it was JJ. He said just sit and don't move and don't react. I looked and everyone was sitting on a bench or on their helmet.
The coaches appeared and at first just looked, then Coach Weston said let's go warmups. No one moved. Coach stood there and yelled NOW. Nobody moved or reacted. Coach looked at me and asked, what the hell is going on now? I took that as a general question and didn't react because basically I had no idea. Coach got right in front of me leaned down and asked, WHATS GOING ON. This time Josh stood up and said Coach we have a question. Did Mike have a valid excuse for missing two days of school? Coach calmly said that's none of your business. Josh simply sat down and no one moved. Now I was finding this funny. Coach asked are we warming out or you sitting here all night because I can arrange that and have the lights turned on. Then I heard, have at it coach. Coach screamed WHO SAID THAT. Immediately it started someone stood up and said I'M SPARTACUS. Before long everyone was standing.
Now I thought this was no longer funny and took two steps forward and turned and faced the team and said, guys first thing this morning I turned in an excuse from my doctor for the last two days. There were a number of test done and he had me home or relaxing till the results were in. So let get to work. I was shocked when they sat there and didn't move. I simply shrugged and sat down. Everyone sat down but Josh who said Coach, if that is true you owe Mike an apology. For those two days all you did was rag on people missing and there were only two people out and even though you haven't told us, Jim has quit so all the rants were about Mike. You need to remember we have each other's backs or ONE FOR ALL and the the entire team screamed ALL FOR ONE. I thought shit and then I noticed the media people were paying attention and filming.
I stood up and looked at the team and asked, guys can I have a minute with coach? There was no answer and I said we have a game in 2 days and we need to work this out. I looked at Coach and asked, Coach can I please have a minute of your time. Coach took a deep breath and before he could answer I heard, Mike not only can you have a few minutes with Coach Weston but I have a a few minutes to spare. I didn't have to look as I knew it was Dr. Johnson. When we were alone I said coach, I don't know how this got so far out of control and I wasn't here yesterday and was barely here today, except for class so I don't need an apology as I was not offended. However, for some reason the team feels differently. I would suggest that we shake hands and you put your arm around me and we walk back and we tell them that we are good. Coach, you also need to tell everyone about Jim, whatever that is. Mike, I can't do that, it's private. I took a deep breath and said ok, I'll deal with it and I looked at Dr. Johnson and said Doc, you need to have my back. He simply shook his head indicating it was good. Coach and I made a show of shaking hands and he put his arm on my shoulder and we went back to the team. I simply sat down and Coach said Mike and I are good and I owe you all an apology for letting this get out of hand and for some comments I made recently. I can't help you with Jim as it is very personal. With that I said guys, Dr. Johnson assures me that at the request of Jim and his rents they can't say anything. I'll talk with Jim and give everyone an update. Now can we get to practice?
I started to join the others and Dr. Johnson said Mike, hang back please you and I need to talk. I sat back down and was joined by Dr. Johnson who immediately said thanks for finding a way to let Chuck save some face. Doc. it seems that what I do this year and honestly it's getting old. We are half way through and undefeated and there is drama every week. Now someone need to explain to the media people what just happened. Doc, the two days off were not my idea and yet this happened and I'm not talking to the media, as this was all about me. You can have Josh and Wyatt do that as I'm guessing they were behind this. Understand that if it was the worst player on our team the same thing would have happened. I started the ONE FOR ALL thing to deal with Sam and he grew legs and I'm thinking it was a mistake but everything goes back to Sam. Hell, I like the dude but he should be playing here and we all on some level can't get over that. Mike, can Wyatt deal with them without any additional drama? I laughed and said Doc, remember last week when we ran that sweep right and I blasted our old coach? Sure Mike and I wasn't happy about that. Well Wyatt made that work as he knew what the old coach knew and in his huddle he called the sweep and then said I'm changing the play at the line and simply ignore that. When he changed the play the entire defense shifted left. After the game I answered a few media questions and dumped the question about that play to Wyatt. I read in the paper the next day what he said. Basically he said it was a play deep in the playbook that we have practiced but rarely use and yes there was a very minor tweak. When asked about the tweak he replied, I was in the shotgun. He simply failed to mention the audible.
Mike, what about Friday's game? I just shrugged and said well that will be what it becomes. Then I looked at him and asked, has Jim decided to have the surgery? He just shrugged and said well that happened yesterday. Mike, it went well and he is hoping to be at the game. Ok Doc. why the mystery? Mike all I'll say is pain meds and you will need to go very slow on that as there is still work to be done. With that I went to practice.
