Epilogue
Well, it's been five years since we last spoke. Can you believe it? Well, it seems like yesterday I was saying goodbye to Blake. I never saw him again...Sadly. Well, I guess why I'm writing you again is to let you know what all happened after we all separated...and started our lives.
Well, let's get the sad stuff over with first...Ruby and Emerald did great over in England, but they never really caught on in America. So they decided to move there for good. I miss them so much! But I do go to see them as often as possible, which is more often than you would think...since I'm quite wealthy!
I did okay with my second album, but it was missing something...Brian. Brian had sad something about a duo, and he was right. When the two of us recorded a CD together it was a smash hit. It was really, really big! It actually out did Backstreet Boys, and that other group...that for some reason has an actor with them now...You know that blonde guy from Cruel Intentions. Who would have guessed?
Well, when Brian left the Boys in late 2001 Nick's brother Aaron took his place. And they are still doing pretty good...of course there were more swaps. Kevin and Howie both quit, and I am not really familiar with the replacements. I sort of lost interest in the music when Brian left the group. And after all we were very busy.
But as individuals I kept up with them all much better! AJ got married not to long after the Black and Blue tour ended. He seems to be very happy, and has a couple of rug rats! Kevin calmed the rest of the way down, and him and his wife are very happy.
Nick, well...he really liked Emerald, but he couldn't do much about it with him here, and her there. So he finally settled down...with a girl by the name of Melissa. I knew her in high school. It's ironic that I would know the girl he married.
Howie as you know quit the group, but what I didn't say is...he and Ruby were married two years ago. It was a very beautiful wedding. I cried being so happy for her. He has been working with the girls a lot-he's their producer. And he's hoping their next CD is their ticket home! And from what I've heard it will be.
Emerald hasn't settled down yet...her mom's a bit worried about her, but I'm not. I know she'll be fine. She just hasn't met the right guy yet. And when she does, I'll probably be the first to know. Or second...If she tells Ruby first.
Mom well, she's doing great. I bought her a new house and she's dating a really nice guy...lot nicer than her old boyfriend. I think she will marry him. It'll be good to see her happy, and nice to know someone's there with her.
Well, Blake he is the sad story of the group. He died the night of the party actually...sadly his plane crashed on the way back to Jacksonville. It was so sad. I had to go the funeral...as much as I hate them. I guess it really put a mark on us all in different ways. Showed us that we should appreciate what we have...and realize how short life really is.
Enough sad stuff...in the good news. About a year after the tour ended Brian asked me to marry him!!! And I said yes of course. We got married that spring. It was great! All the guys where there, except for Howie...And the girls couldn't make it either. They had like wall to wall shows. It was sucky, but that's life.
So as it was said before...that was the last time we all got together, that night of the party. I will always look back on those days in wonder. How I met the love of my life...how everything in my life changed! It's amazing how much things in change in less than a year. And it was all thanks to a new job...A job that took me around the world, and back! And after our second album plays out...Brian and I are retiring to our home in Florida (and in Alabama in hurricane situations)...to rest, and be happy for the rest of our lives. And we will!
