Hypnotherapy: Part 1
Ah, good afternoon Colin. Please take a seat.
Today we are going to conduct a hypnotherapy session. Do you know what that is?
Hypnotherapy is when a patient is put into a hypnotic trance as part of overcoming a psychological, and sometimes physical, disorder. During the therapy session you will be be in a suggestible state. In order for it to work, I need you to trust me completely.
Do you understand, Colin?

Please relax, and listen very closely to what I am about to tell you.
It's important that you do exactly what I say.
Take a deep breath, and relax...
Colin? Can you hear my voice?
Focus on my voice, Colin. From now on, I want you to remember how you feel right now. When we start our therapy sessions I want you to fall back into this state when you sit down in the chair.
Other than the general feeling of the trance, I think it would be best if you tried to forget the contents of these sessions. If you allow your conscious mind to interfere with my suggestions, it might compromise the therapy.
Do you remember why you are here, Colin?
Your doctor tells me that you are a late bloomer. You are 18 years old but somewhat underdeveloped for your age. He is thinking about prescribing you testosterone supplements but I persuaded him that there may be a psychological barrier to your physical development.
Colin, you trust me don't you?
It is important that you do exactly what I say so that I can help you to get healthy.
Take off your shirt, Colin.

That's very good, Colin. You are clearly a natural at taking orders. It's important to do exactly what I say. Every time you accomplish a task that I set to you, you should feel a sense of pride and fulfilment.
Do you see the mirror over there in the corner? I want you to stand in front of it and take a look at yourself.

Yes, I agree that you look quite young for your age. But could you be more specific?

Yes, you're definitely shorter than I am. How tall are you?
Ah, I see. 5'3" is quite short for your age. You can see that I am over one foot taller than you. I am 6'5" tall which is a healthy size for an adult male.
What else do you see?
You're right.
Most males develop body hair when they are in their teens. You can see that I have quite dense black curls all over my torso. When I put my hands behind my head, you can see I have dense, curly black hair whereas you have wispy underarms.
You have probably seen other boys in the locker room with body hair. Body hair is also accompanied with increased sweat production. This is why healthy adult males develop their own distinctive scent.
What else do you see in the mirror?
That's correct. My body is much more developed than yours. I spend a lot of time working out, which is why my chest is so much larger than yours. You can see that my chest juts out like a shelf over my abdomen because it is laden with muscle. If you watch, I can flex my chest whereas I expect you cannot.
Below my pectoral muscles are my abdominal muscles. Despite the thick hair growth, you can make out the distinct shapes of all the abdominal muscles. You can see they push out quite a way with distinct ridges between each one. If you look closely at your body, you can just about make out your abs, but they look much smaller and more feeble than mine.
Colin, I would like you to touch my body, so that you know what a healthy adult male feels like.
Make sure that you run your hands through my chest hair. Yes, that's right. Take note of the firmness of the muscle underneath. That's what a grown man's chest should feel like.
Next, I would like you to smell the underside of my arms. Please walk up close to my hairy armpit.
Come on, Colin. You can get closer than that. I thought you were going to trust me?
Ok, that's good. I want you to just stay there for a few moments and deeply inhale.
Ok, now try the other side.
Stay there, Colin. This is an important exercise. I want you to remember that this is what a grown man smells like.

Your doctor told me that you are gay. It's important that you trust me and always tell me the truth. How often do you have sex, Colin?
Are you saying you have never had sex? That is quite unusual for a boy of your age.
I'm not saying you shouldn't wait until you are ready. I am just concerned about your health. Would you say that you have a healthy sex drive?
Ok, so, it sounds like you're pretty sure that you have a normal sexual appetite. Forgive me Colin, but I don't totally believe you. While it's possible that a boy like you has a healthy sex drive, the weight of the evidence suggests that you may be underdeveloped in this area too. I am concerned that you simply don't realise it.

In the future, when you are aroused I want you to think about mature, masculine, developed bodies with hair, muscle, and sweat, like we discussed today. I think this might help you form a psychological bond between desirability and physical development. This might help you overcome your late development.
