As I indicated in my earlier stories, my romance with the US goes back to the early 1980s. Again, while there are exceptions as there are all over the world, I was totally seduced by the general niceness of people and especially, the beautiful, confident and sexy men who were totally enthralled by my accent. But also, it was the genuine openness and way they expressed thoughts and feelings. I had never had my ego so exquisitely massaged the same way ever. So, I am 1.80m tall, worked out and had what others described as "model looks" to the extent that when I was doing my first masters degree I had been offered a modelling contract in Paris. I thought about it and the money and travel, but figured I had too many brains to be treated like a glorified clothes' horse and as some superficial entity who had "the looks" but nothing else. I turned it down.

Honolulu Dreaming - 2
America and California especially, had been so good to me in terms of making me feel that others thought I had something to offer. So again, there was that 'ego' aspect. So began in 1983 a love affair and a place to find love and which ended on my part since, once I had met the love of my life in 1986, all changed. I was no longer available. However, until then and that wonderful evening in San Diego, the adventures continued during annual visits to the US.
Other than California, it was Hawai'i, which proved a happy hunting ground so to speak. I would have two to three weeks there every December and of course, it was a magnet for those from the mainland seeking sunshine and sea and sexual adventure. One aspect of course, which had changed the landscape rather dramatically, was HIV and AIDS and this really began to impact in 1984. It didn't really impact on me until 1985 when I first heard of people I knew, dying.
This story was another interesting experience, which just happened, most unexpectedly. It was really about joining the 'mile high club'.
So, I was headed from Honolulu on a flight to Sydney where I had a research assignment with some masters' and PhD student classes on the side. I was actually really tired and looking forward to something light to eat and then a nap on what would be a nine hour or so flight. I had priority boarding and so was seated in my seat by the window when other passengers started arriving. I had closed my eyes and was leaning my head against the fuselage next to the window. I was jolted from my reverie by a voice.
"Hello. Looks like we will be fellow travellers."
The voice came with a young man of about 20, quite tall and rangy with wild surfie hair, cute and sparkling grey-blue eyes and another of those impeccable, white-toothed American smiles. He settled in beside me with his board shorts and T-shirt, finding it hard to sit still.
"I'm Chris. I'm off to have a year in Sydney at Sydney Uni."
Already, he was using Australian terminology. Australians have a unique slang and a love of clipping words back to the bare essentials. Over time I had learned to understand what at first was incomprehensible: tinny; stubby; arvo; prezzie; Chrissie and then of course, the ubiquitous 'yeah mate' and various other applications of the word 'mate' which had a unique code and practice of their own.
He settled in beside me, chattering away as if we were lifelong friends.
So, eventually the plane took off and before long there were drinks and the meal was served. Chris ate, had a couple of beers and then disappeared into his headphones, Walkman and battery of cassette tapes. After the plane settled down, I thought things would be peaceful. The cabin lights were dimmed once the attendants had brought around blankets and pillows. I made myself comfortable and dozed off.
I had no idea how long I had been sleeping but I awoke with the dimness of the cabin and the sound of the engines the only things to register. I also awoke with what would have been a morning erection. Then I realised that Chris' head was on my shoulder. I was aware of his natural smell, unmasked by anything artificial. Now, I have always found the natural smell of an attractive man highly aphrodisiacal. I adjusted my position gently, having no expectations of course. Chris stirred a little and made his own adjustments but that included the position of his head. His nose ended up just under my ear and with each breath, I received a little mini-massage. The next move was a real surprise. Chris' arm came across my chest, under my blanket. At first, I thought that Chris, in his physicality, was simply one of those people who in their sleep, had no idea what their bodies were doing. I started to doze off again. Next thing I was aware of Chris' hand moving, caressing my right nipple. Again I thought it was an involuntary thing but as I thought about what was happening, the hand moved through a gap in my shirt and found my bare nipple. This was certainly a planned action. Thereafter, his hand moved down, caressing my stomach and then my hard cock through my briefs. My pants button was undone and the zipper pulled down. I could feel Chris' nose moving against my shoulder and neck and his breath in much stronger force, a kind of panting.
Next, Chris took my left hand, placing it on his cock. He had clearly pushed his board shorts down. Slowly he liberated my cock and then, his head was under my blanket, sucking my cock although he used more of a swirling action with his tongue. He was clearly an expert and knew exactly what he was doing. Since the angle was difficult, I couldn't do anything back and I realised that Chris was both sucking my cock and jerking himself. Eventually, I came in his mouth and as I did, I knew Chris had come also.
Eventually, Chris adjusted himself, and then headed off to the bathroom. I adjusted my clothing and dozed off.
Later, as we approached Sydney and the cabin lights came on and another pre-landing meal was served, Chris acted as if nothing whatever had happened. He chatted away as he had prior.
