AUTHOR's WORDS: After a great many months in hibernation I've returned to start writing once more for you all. I am very sorry that it's taken so long. I have missed the writing but needed to sort my head out again and hopefully now they will be more frequently updated for your enjoyment. Next thought, for those who read JC Dreams, I have compiled all the chapters into one file (both Microsoft Word and .txt format) which I can email to you on request. I also will say here that I am very thankful to all those who nominated and voted for me with JC Dreams. Saddest Story Ending is not something I was expecting to take, I wasn't even expecting a nomination. Still I am greatful and feel extremely privelleged to have won this award... Thank you all.

Hearts of Ash 06

"Asher, I can't go on pretending. I'm well and truly falling for you and I can't help it. Just before, how many times has that happened to us since we met?" He asked. Asher looked a JC.

"It's happen several times Josh. I know what you're saying, I can see where you're coming from, I'm... I'm..."

"You're what?" Asked JC.

"I'm falling for you as well. I was going to say, I'm not ready, but that wouldn't be fair on either of us."

"Where do we go now then?" Asked JC.

"Same as usual. Nothing is really different, we just know each other's feelings."

"So would it be wrong if I asked you out?" Questioned JC.

"Would it be wrong if I said yes?" Replied Asher. JC walked over to Asher and held out his arms. Asher came straight to them and leant up and kissed Josh on the lips. The stood there, mouths met, talking words of passion that were silent. When it ended Asher looked at Josh.

"We going out?"

"Where?" Asked JC, grinning. Asher slapped him on the arm.

"Shit head, you know what I mean." JC smiled warmly and nodded.

"We're going out." Asher smiled and leant in to kiss JC again. JC leant into the kiss and opened his mouth slightly and welcomed Asher's tongue into his mouth. Asher's hands ran up and down JC's back. JC's hands started to wander over Asher's body. A loud knocking from the front door sounded out, startling both of them back into the real world. Asher looked at JC.

"Twenty bucks it's Justin." He grinned. JC nodded and smiled.

"You're on. I say it's Chris." Asher smiled and went to answer the door. Opening the door, Asher was not surprised to find Justin standing there.

"Hey Justin, come on in." He smiled. Justin nodded and walked into the door. Walking down towards the kitchen, Asher called out.

"You owe me a twenty Josh." Justin looked at Asher quizzically.

"Don't ask what you don't want to know." Asher told him. Justin just shook his head and smiled. As they walked into the kitchen, JC pulled a twenty out of his wallet and handed it to Asher who took it and put it in his pocket.

"Pizza for dinner?" He asked.

"Sounds good." JC told him and looked over at Justin.

"You staying for dinner?" He asked. Justin looked at Asher.

"Only if that's okay by you." Asher nodded.

"It seems that this place is as much Josh's as it is mine." Asher told him. Justin laughed and sat down on one of the stools at the counter.

"So are you two together yet?" Both Asher and JC's heads snapped over and looked at Justin.

"Oh please, like it hasn't been half obvious that the pair of you are totally into each other." Justin told them. Asher blushed lightly and JC looked out the kitchen window. Justin laughed. Their embaressment was cute. Well, at least to him. Relaxing a little, Asher felt the redness leave his cheeks and he sedated slightly.

"Well, Justin, seeing as the kettle is boiled... would you like a cup off coffee?" Justin stood there for a moment, contemplating whether or not there was a trick or one line involved within the offer, realising in the end that there was none, he nodded his head. Asher smiled then turned around and got the coffee out of the cupboard.

"How do you like your coffee?"

"White with two please." Justin offered.

"Oh, the good ol' queens brew eh. Always knew you were a poof." Grinned Asher looking into the cupboard. JC giggled and Justin just rolled his eyes.

Sitting in the lounge room, the three sat with idle conversation and the TV speaking softly to them in the background.

"So what plans do you have for the rest of the night?" Asked Justin.

"We were going to watch TV, eat our pizza then go and fuck each other rotten." Grinned JC. Justin frowned.

"Oh that was an overshare." He groused playfully. Asher smiled at him.

"Well, it's not far from the truth, though we are passing on the fuck each other rotten." Justin shook his head.

"You only started to go out today and you're already acting like an old married couple. Why don't you come out to a club with me?" He asked. Asher and JC looked at each other. Asher shrugged and JC looked at Justin.

"Which one Juju?"

"Why not one in... oh I don't know. Why don't you pick one?"

"Because you're the young, party animal. Not me."

"And you're some old man who doesn't know any good clubs."

"Justin, you know I'm not big on the night life. Anyways, don't we have an interview tomorrow or something?"

"Not until three tomorrow afternoon." Asher piped up. JC looked at Asher.

"Ash, ya ain't helping. I am trying to find an excuse to stay home and have my wicked way with you." Ash opened his mouth to say something but was interuppted by a banging on the door. Asher looked at JC.

"Hold that thought." JC reached up as if to grab something. Asher shook his head laughing and went to answer the door. Opening the door, he felt his heart leap to his mouth.

"Jared, what are you doing here?"

"Was just in the neighborhood, thought I would come and say hi." Asher poked his head out the door and looked to the left.

"Uh huh, that's why you've got two suitcases is it." Jared looked away then back at Asher.

"Dad threw me again." Shaking his head, Asher walked out and picked up one of the suitcases.

"Why this time?" He asked bringing the suitcase inside.

"Same as always." Their conversation continued down the hall and into the lounge room where JC and Justin were talking quietly. Jared walked in after Asher and looked at the guests. His mouth dropped as he realised who was sitting there.

"Justin, Josh, I'd like you to meet my little brother Jared." He told them. JC stood up and stepped forward to shake Jared's hand. Jared stood there, still open mouthed, not moving an inch. Sighing, Asher nudged Jared, who snapped back into reality. Realising that JC was offering his hand to shake, steped forward.

"It's nice to meet you." JC said.

"The pleasure is all yours, I mean ours, I mean ... the pleasure is all mine." Asher rolled his eyes. Justin smiled and shook his hand as well. Jared shook his head.

"You never told me that you knew Nsync."

"That's because I only hear or see from you when dad throws you out." Asher told him. Jared blushed and looked away.

"Your dad threw you out? Why?" Asked JC. Jared looked around, not knowing where to rest his eyes.

"Delicate point. Let's not go there." Asher said coming to the rescue. "Now weren't we talking about going out tonight." Jared's ears pricked. Asher looked straight over at him.

"No chance, no way, no how."

"Oh come on, there's an excellent rave on tonight with System Six." Asher shook his head.

"Please." Jared asked, putting on his best puppy dog face. Asher's face didn't change. Jared leant in and whispered in Asher's ear

"At least if you're there, you know I won't get into trouble." Asher looked at the other two.

"It's up to you guys now." JC and Justin looked at each other and shrugged.

"Yeah, why not. Count us in." Justin told Asher. To JC, he didn't know whether or not Asher wanted to laugh or cry.

It's a little bit short, it's a little bit weird... don't even ask what is going on in my head. Thanks for reading. Feedback is always appreciated. Take care, SunChild. xxx
