Heart Breaking Love 3

Beau stopped the car right I'm front of the house. We both got out into the chilly night air, hearing the thump of the music as it played loudly from inside. Beau and I walked together inside, his arm around my waist. The party was already in full swing when we arrived. I saw Sam with a guy I didn't recognized. But as soon as she saw me, she waved him off and caught up with us.

"Ain't this a great party Aiden? Wade really outdid himself this time!"

"I guess so," I chuckled at her inability to stand still. I could smell a hint of alcohol on her breath.

"Who was that guy you just left? He looked very into you." Beau inquired. Over the last couple of weeks, he's really warmed up to my friends. None of that cold shoulder.

"Jake. Or was it John?".she laughed, "Who can remember? Hey! Let's go get a drink Aiden. Beau, try to find Terry. I will not let her leave this time! I found a totally cute guy that's into her." She pulled me along, leaving Beau to search for her sister. In the kitchen, Sam poured us both vodka. The host of the party himself, Wade happened to come in.

"Eh, Sam! Aiden! Glad you guys.could make it. Are ya loving this or what? " He let his sunglasses slide down his nose so that he could actually see us properly.

Sam playfully stole his glasses. "It's night! How could you possibly think to wear these things?" She said in a mock-parental tone.

"Ugh, gross, " he replied. "You sound like my mother." Sam slapped Wade's arm. Though she hid it quite well, she had the biggest crush on Wade. Just then, Beau walked in with Terry in tow. They were talking in hushed times and immediately shut up when they saw Sam and I.

"What were guys talking about?" Sam asked, momentarily distracted from Wade.

"Nothing." They both said.

"Is it really nothing, Beau?" Wade asked. He seemed to say Beau's name with a mixture of hate and disgust. What's that about?

Beau ignored him and came up to me. He put his arm around me and looked at Wade. They stared at each other with hate, almost daring the other to throw a punch. Sam and I looked at each other in confusion while the tension in the room built. Finally, Beau said to me, "Let's go Aiden."

"Um... Ok." I allowed Beau to pull me away. I mouthed 'good bye' to Wade, Sam, and Terry. Sam looked confused, Terry thoughtful, and Wade was pissed.

I walked into my room, Beau trailing behind me silently. It was 12:30 am already and I had just undergone the longest silent car ride in history. Needless to say, I was tired. I had thought Beau would've gone straight home, but he went in with me. Not that I'm complaining. I love him. Or at least really really really like him, as Sam insists I can't "love" until after six months. Besides, this would give me ample opportunity to confront him about his apparent issue with Wade. We were sitting on my bed just starting at the opposite wall.

"Beau, I-" I began.

"Please no. Not tonight." He said in a pleading voice. He was upset I could tell. I decided to drop it. We sat silent for a few more moments before I got up and began to undress.

"It's late," I said. "Let's go to sleep."

"Ok babe." He followed suit, albeit more slowly. He was immersed in his thoughts. I turned out the lights and we both got into my bed. His dad never seemed to mind that Beau often slept over. My parents never knew. I cuddled up to Beau under the covers, laying my head on his chest. He put his arm around me and kissed the top of my head. Soon, we both feel asleep. ************ The next morning, I heard the door to my room slam. I woke up with a start. Beau groggily got up too.

"What's wrong?" He yawned.

Just then, I heard my mom outside the door.

"Aiden. Get dressed and come down to kitchen. We need to talk." . Beau looked at me with wide eyes. My heart just sunk. I hadn't told either of my parents that I was gay or that I was dating Beau. I didn't know what they would think and I was too terrified to come out. I quietly slipped into some pajamas while Beau put on the jeans and shirt he wore last night. We walked together silently into the kitchen. My mom sat at the dinner table, fiddling with her fingers. We sat opposite of her. I looked at the table, not wanting to see my mother's face. Beau stared defiantly, straight on. My mother cleared her throat.

"Aiden," she began. "Do you... Have anything you'd like to tell me?"

"No." I said simply, daring to look up. She had a surprised look on her face. I mean, it was true right? Probably not the best thing to say, but...

"Are you sure?" My mother asked.

"Yes."

"Go back to your room then." Beau stood up with me, but then she said, "You stay Beau." I quickly exited and went up to my room. I sat on the bed, waiting to see if Beau would even come back up. After half an hour the door opened and Beau came in and sat next to me.

"Your mom's okay with it." I let out a sigh of relief.

"But she wants to talk. Really talk."

I sighed. "Okay." I got up and went downstairs. My mom stood waiting in the kitchen. I avoided her eyes. I knew Beau said she's okay with it, but it was still extremely uncomfortable.

"Aiden, " she began. "I love you no matter what. Even if you're gay. ".she sighed. "I just wish you would've trusted me and told me." I looked up and could see her eyes watering a bit. She was hurt that I didn't trust her.

"I'm sorry mama, I was scared."

"It's okay. Just come here." We shared a long embrace before she sent me back to my room with two plates of breakfast. This is the best thing that could've happened! My mom still loves me. I walked into my room all smiles.

"So everything went well?" Beau stated more so than asked.

"Yep." I said smiling. He pulled me into his lap and rested his chin on the top of my head. We sat like that for a while, then we ate our cold breakfast. We spent the rest of Sunday watching old B movies on Netflix. Neither Beau nor I ever tire of them. When my parents left, they also made sure Beau did. *************** Beau and I sat together near the front of the class. Ms. Preston, our French teacher, explained to us our oral presentation due next Wednesday. "Okay everybody, remember to get your presentations checked by me for grammar before memorization. Allez!"

Beau looked at his paper with a confused expression.

"Aiden, can you help me?"

"Of course love."

He looked at me and sighed. "How do I say I hate this class?" I giggled before responding.

"Je déteste cette classe."

He wrote it down.

"At least you wrote it correctly." I said smiling at him. He merely grunted. We spent the rest of the class working, with him asking a question every once in a while. We were both able to get the script finished and checked by Ms. Preston. We walked out hand in hand. He brought me to my history class. He kissed me gently before walking off to his own second period. I sat down in the front, my assigned seat. As the one minute warning bell rang, all the other students piled in. The teacher, Mr. Turner, walked to the front of the class and began writing on the board. It read: Take out Monday's Assignment Get it stamped Pick up the new worksheet and complete it using section three of chapter two on the rise and fall of Napoleon

Pretty simple day. Mr.Turner doesn't do much except assign reading sections and doing worksheets. He doesn't believe in educators actually educating. Fine by me, I already know most of what the textbook tells me. Except for the wrong "facts". I was able to get my work done with twenty minutes to spare. I checked my phone. A text from Sam.

'Party on Friday night, after the football game. U coming?"

'where?' I replied

'Wade's'

'i dunno. wade and beau hate each other for some reason'

'did u find out why?'

'nope. He didn't wanna talk'

'maybeI can get wade to tell me'

'please try. beau avoids it whenever I bring it up. It's really bugging me'

'i will hon. C u @ lunch.'

'kk. Bye'

The rest of the day went by in a blur. Almost normal, except for the fact that both Beau and Terry didn't eat lunch with Sam and I. When I questioned Beau later on the bus ride home, he completely ignored the question. Why does he keep things from me? It's starting worry me. What happened in Louisiana when he went back? Why does Wade hate him? What's with him and Terry? All these questions raced through my mind. Beau seemed to be thinking as well. Sigh. I hope he does tell me, before I go insane! ************** Saturday morning. Beau and I had a fight last night. A screaming match really. Sam and Daniel, her brother on the football team, came pick me for the party at wade's. After coming back and being slightly drunk, I found Beau waiting for me on the porch.

"Where have you been?! I've been waiting here for hours, worried." Beau started. Stupidly, I said, "I was at wade's." I immediately knew that was a mistake. His face turned red and he began yelling at me right there. I wasn't "allowed" to see Wade anymore. I needed a babysitter, he said. That's when I lost it. I think I shocked him, because as soon I started screaming his eyes widened. In moo uncertain terms, I told him that he wasn't my keeper. He couldn't make me do what he wanted. I brought up his habit of keeping secrets and how I was sick I was sick of it. He replied with, "If you're so sick of me, I'll just leave." And he did. And I went inside and cried. Now, it's morning. I pulled the blankets over my head and curled up. All I could do was think about Beau. I checked my phone, nothing from him. No missed calls, no texts. We needed to talked, obviously. I sent him a text, a simple "Hi". I didn't know what else to say. And I waited. And waited. And waited. Finally he texted back; I want to break up. My heart skipped a beat and began to crack.

Note from author: sorry everybody for not updating in a month. I got issues with doing long term stories. But I sucked it up and finished this chapter. If I ever go on another hiatus, spam my email with pleas to continue.
