Chapter Eighty
Bren stepped into the mess hall and looked around the room. There were several students sitting at tables playing games. David went over to join them, and Evan followed Bren into the kitchen. Chance was standing at the island putting dessert together for the evening meal.
"Hey, Chance," Bren greeted his brother.
Chance walked around the island and asked, "How's David?"
Bren gave his brother a hug. "Tony did an excellent job patching him up. He's going to be fine."
Chance turned to Evan and said, "Thank you for helping out." After a slight hesitation he gave the professor a quick hug.
"Glad I was able to be of service." Evan gave him a warm smile.
Bren asked, "Have you seen Chad?"
Chance pointed to the closed door of his room. "He and Tom are in there with Mason. The Founder wants you and Evan to join them."
Bren knocked lightly on the door and heard an invitation to enter the room. He opened the door and stepped inside. Evan followed close behind him. Bren looked around the room and saw that Mason was sitting on a chair. Tom and Chad were sitting on one side of Chance's bed.
Chad stood up and greeted them each with a hug. "Everything okay?"
Bren nodded and said, "It is. David's playing games with some of the students."
Bren eyed Mason and wasn't surprised to see the student's eyes focused on the floor. He studied Mason a bit longer before looking back at the Founder. Chad read the look as a question of what to do about Mason.
"Mason's returning to the Community with me. Hopefully he and I can work out a solution together. Let's go, Mason."
Mason stood to his feet and followed the Founder quietly out of Chance's room.
"What do you think is going to happen?" Evan asked.
Bren shrugged his shoulders. "I have no idea, but as you told David in the car, Chad is a fair man. I know he will do anything in his power to help Mason.
"Then I guess the solution Chad was referring to will depend on Mason's behavior. Shall we see if Chance needs any help?"
When they stepped into the kitchen, they discovered Cole standing at the island preparing two large pans of beans ready to go into the over to be baked. Bren asked Chance if he needed any more help.
"I never turn down good help. There's things in the fridge to make the salad for tonight's meal." He pointed to some large pans sitting on one end of the counter. "Use those pans."
"I'll give you a hand, Bren," Evan offered.
Cole turned to Bren and said, "I saw David playing games. Is he okay?"
Bren began pulling vegetables from the fridge. "He is. Tony says he'll be good a new in a couple of days."
Chance had three large briskets baking in the oven. He opened the oven door to inspect them, and when he closed it, he said, "It makes me sad that Mason is consumed with so much anger."
"It is a shame," Evan agreed as he started cutting up vegetables for the salad. "However, Mason is not a child. It's true he's been dealt a lot of shit, but he's seventeen. He appears to be a very intelligent young man, and he should be able to reason his situation out. It might take help from Rob, but he should be able to figure things out."
Cole finished the beans and slid them over so Chance could put them in the other oven. "And if he can't? If Mason doesn't?"
Bren began slicing tomatoes. "Let's hope to God he does. I wouldn't wish Juvie Hall on anyone."
"Hello?"
Everyone in the kitchen turned to see David standing in the doorway. He walked over and stood in front of Bren and Evan. "Thank you both for helping me."
Bren put his knife down and turned to the student. Pulling him into a hug, he said, "I'm just happy you're alright. We all are," he added looking around the room.
Cole walked around the island and gave David a hug. "I'm really glad you're okay. If you need anything, will you promise to let me know?"
David nodded and returned Cole's hug. Then he stepped back and asked, "Can I help do anything?"
Evan placed a hand on one of David's shoulders. "How does your head feel?"
"It's fine."
Chance smiled at the student and asked, "How are you at peeling potatoes?"
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Chad leaned against his desk and looked at the three people sitting in his office. Mason was sitting in a chair with Rob on one side and Brad on the other. Chad had removed his shorts upon returning to the Community. Brad and Rob were in their usual state of nakedness. The only one in the room wearing clothes was Mason. He had worn shorts and a tank top ever since arriving at the campground.
Chad crossed his arms and said, "Mason, everyone in this room wants to help you. Will you let us?"
Mason stared down at his feet and didn't make any response.
"Mason?"
Mason didn't move.
"Look at me, Mason." Chad unfolded his arms.
Mason slowly raised is head up. He looked directly into the Founder's eyes and remained silent.
"Why are you so unhappy here? With us?"
Mason sat up straighter in his chair. "Where the hell do I start? Let's begin with that." He pointed at Chad's cock.
Chad dropped his hands to his side and let them rest on the edge of his desk. "My cock bothers you?"
"It's sick. Fucking sick. Why do you think living this way is alright? Why do you think clothes were invented?"
"We wear clothes when necessary. Anytime we leave the Community we are fully dressed. Mason, one of the reasons that I established the Community was so that boys and men like us could live without shame. Can you honestly say that before you came here that no one ever teased you or made some sort of comment about your body?" Chad shook his head. "I know that I can't. Locker rooms at school caused me many nightmares."
"I could care less what any of those jerks thought," Mason said. "They were nothing but jerkoffs. Shitheads."
Chad smiled. "While that may very well be true, did they have the right to judge you that way?"
"Of course they didn't."
"Tell me, since your arrival at the campground, has anyone judged you in any way? Has anyone treated you unkindly?"
Mason shrugged his shoulders but didn't answer the Founder.
"Well? Have they?"
Mason shuffled his feet on the floor. "You're pissed because of that guy, David, aren't you?"
Chad sighed. "No, Mason, I'm not pissed. I am sorry that you are so full of anger, and that you used it as an excuse to hurt another student. From what I've been told, David only wanted to offer you his help."
"Did I need his help? I can take care of myself."
"Mason, our life here in the Community may be different from those living in the outside world, but one thing we do is treat each other with kindness. Every staff member here is willing to help each other in any way they can, and the same thing can be said of our students as well."
Brad suddenly leaned forward in his chair. "Mason, legal affairs are my business. I know what is allowed. If you choose not to live here in the Community, you will have to go to Juvie hall. At least until next January."
Rob said, "Mason, you've ran out of options when it comes to foster homes. Your behavior has made it impossible for any of them to open their home up to you."
"As you say, I will be eighteen in January. After my birthday, I'll be able to go where ever I choose."
"That may be true," Brad agreed. "However, that's eight months away. If you go to Juvie, your life could be hell until then."
"You don't think it's not hell now? Here?"
Brad looked at Chad and shrugged his shoulders as if to say, "I give up. It's in your hands."
Chad stood up straight and said, "I may have a solution. At least I hope so. Mason, I really don't want you to have to go to Juvie hall."
Mason remained silent.
Chad walked toward the door. "Rob, would you step out for a moment with me? Brad, would you mind taking Mason to your office? I'll give you a call in a few minutes."
Chad and Rob stepped out into the hall and watched Mason follow the Community's lawyer into his office. Then Chad said, "I'm going over to the gym and speak with Don. For now I don't think it's wise for Mason to be around any of the students for any length of time. I'm going to ask Don if Mason can work with him around the pool and gym. I'm sure he can use help with some of the maintenance."
"That sounds like a good idea, Chad. I think, given the boy's attitude, that I should have a visit with him every day. Perhaps with my visits and Don's guidance we can help Mason with all of the anger that seems to consume him."
"Awesome, Rob." Chad stepped out of the building and gave the counselor a hug. "Thanks, Bud. I really appreciate your willingness to help."
Chad hurried down the street and walked inside the gym. He found Don cleaning the swimming pool.
"Hey, Founder," Don greeted. He put the water vacuum down and walked over to the Founder. He hugged Chad close and said, "It's good to see you. How's things going?"
Chad stepped back. "That's funny you should ask. I'm sorry to say, but I'm coming to you with a problem."
A look of concern appeared on Don Jefferson's face. "Oh? Have I done something wrong?"
"God no, Don. The problem I have concerns one of our new students. Seventeen year old Mason in fact."
Don had felt his cock chub up during the Founder's hug. At the mention of a problem, he felt it go soft and lay against the blond hair that covered his balls. "How can I help, Chad?"
"Mason and his parents were in an automobile accident when Mason was fourteen years old. He survived, but his parents didn't. There was no other family, so the only place for Mason was in foster care. For the past three years the boy has rebelled and caused so many problems that no foster home in the system will take him now. Judge Compton has been involved with Mason's case since the beginning. He discussed Mason with my friend, Tim Wilson, and both men felt that the boy could benefit by living here in the Community."
"Sounds like a good plan to me."
Chad gave a nod. "Yes, but the plan will only work if Mason's willing to make it work."
"I take it he's not."
Chad shook his head. "That's right. Don, would you be willing to take Mason under your wing? Could he help you around the building? I know there's quite a bit of maintenance required to keep the gym and pool in safe running order."
"I'm not sure what I can do, but I'm willing to give it a try. When might this take place?"
"Would today be too soon?"
"Of course not."
Chad punched in a number on his cell phone and asked Brad to bring Mason to the gym. "They're on the way here."
Don looked over at the swimming pool. "Chad, I've completed all the pool maintenance. You can start sending students over to swim anytime now."
"Great. I'll coordinate a schedule with Bren and Tom. I think the college and senior students should come as one group every other day. All of the other students could come on opposite days."
"That would work," Don agreed.
Brad arrived a few minutes later with Mason dragging his feet behind the lawyer. "Hey, Don," Brad greeted. The two men shared a hug.
When Don tried to give Mason a hug, the boy stepped back and glared at the pool manager. Don took a deep breath and grinned. "How about a handshake then?"
Mason hesitated and then finally offered a weak handshake. He allowed Don to grasp his hand for a good three or four seconds before he pulled it away.
Chad took a few minutes to explain his idea, and as he spoke, he saw a spark of interest appear in Mason's eyes. "How would you like helping Don out, Mason?"
Mason shrugged his shoulders and gave a slight nod with his head.
"I really would appreciate your help, Mason," Don told the boy.
Mason looked around the area. "What would I have to do?"
"The main thing is the swimming pool. It has to be cleaned every day. There's maintenance that needs to be done now and then in the gym. These are the most important things. Everything else sort takes care of itself."
"I could probably do that." Mason looked at the Founder and said, "Would that make you happy?"
Chad smiled. "Mason, I want you happy. If you're happy, then I'm happy that you're happy." He looked at Don and said, "I'll need to find a place for Mason to live, but I'm sure that I can find something suitable."
"What about the room next to the clinic?" Don suggested. "Cole and Ben are away for the summer, and I'm sure they won't mind sharing their room with Mason."
"That's a great idea, Don. Mason, you can eat your meals in the cafeteria. Paul and Terry, along with Greg and Chaz, are in charge of food service this summer. They provide meals for the staff remaining here. Check with any of them. They can tell you when the meals are served."
Mason shuffled his feet and said, "Okay."
"Why don't you go check out your room?" Don suggested. "Tony should be in the clinic. He can show you where to find fresh bedding. Be back in an hour, and I'll go with you over to the cafeteria to find out about your meal times."
After Mason left, Chad thanked Don for his willingness to work with Mason. He and Brad gave the man a hug and left the building. Don went back to cleaning the pool. He wanted to be done by the time Mason returned.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Preparations for the evening meal were almost finished. Chance announced that he was going for a short walk before time to serve dinner.
Evan had finished with his part of the salad making. "Care for some company?"
"That would be nice," Chance answered and smiled.
When the two men had disappeared through the back door, Cole slowly made his way over to Bren. "You know that they have a thing for each other, right?" He gave Bren a grin.
Bren's eyebrows arched upward. "Thing? What sort of `thing' is that?"
Cole rammed his shoulder playfully against Bren's arm. "I think you get my drift."
David was standing on the other side of the kitchen island. "It's nice to have a good friend."
"I think there's more to those two than just friendship," Cole declared.
"I hope they do become friends," Bren remarked. "Chance may appear to have everything settled, but knowing my brother the way that I do, I'm sure that he has unsettled issues on some things. Remember, he's only recently accepted the fact that he's gay. He's lived a long time in a world that he wasn't even sure he belonged in."
"I'll be happy to have a talk with him," Cole offered.
Bren smiled. "I'm sure that you would. For now, why don't we leave things alone? I haven't known Evan long, but I have a feeling that he will be a good friend to my brother."
"I think you're right, Bren," David agreed.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Don was working on some equipment in the gym when Mason returned. He watched as the boy made his way slowly toward him. When the student was a few feet away, Don asked, "All settled in, Mason?"
"Yeah."
"Come over here, and I'll show you what I'm doing. Most of the maintenance in here isn't too complicated."
When Mason didn't make a move, Don grinned and said, "I promise that I won't bite."
Mason's eyes glared as he said, "You try anything with me, and I'll knock you on your ass."
Don wiped his hands on a towel and walked over to the student. "If you think I'm impressed by your words, you're damned well wrong. Do you intimidate me? Hell, no. I have only one thing that I want to do where you are concerned. I will do my best to help you stay here in the Community, because you can trust me, Mason, you do not want to be put into Juvie hall. If you go there, you will be the one to be knocked on your ass. Juvie is not the place to be." He smiled and held out his hand. "Truce?"
Mason sighed and cast his eyes down to the floor. Seconds later he raised his head and said, "Alright – truce. For now." He placed his hand in Don's.
When Don pulled his hand away, he said, "Great. Let's get busy, Mason."
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Bren and Tom were playing cards in the dining room with Cole and Barry. It had been a very busy and emotional day for them, and they were grateful to relax and use cards as a way to relieve stress.
"Evan Randall has been in Chance's room for an awfully long time," Cole commented.
"I hope they become good friends," Barry spoke up. "I think the professor will be a good friend to have."
Bren smiled. "We've already had this conversation," he reminded Cole. "I think I agree with Barry. Evan will be a good friend to my brother"
Cole played a card. "I'm pretty sure they're going to become fuck buddies."
Tom played his card. "Cole, you need to show some respect, not only to Bren, but his brother as well."
Cole shrugged his shoulders and grinned. "I didn't mean any disrespect, Bren. Everyone needs a good friend. I definitely have one." He gave Barry's arm a playful smack.
Tom leaned back in his chair. "Come to think of it, I heard the two of you getting very friendly last night. He grinned at the two students. "You might try and be a little quieter tonight."
With a head nod, Cole said, "Duly noted. Don't be so loud tonight, Barry."
"You might practice what you preach," Barry shot back and smiled.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Chance closed his bedroom door and looked at Evan who was sitting on one side of his bed. "Would you like to watch a movie? There's no TV reception out here, but I have lots of movies to choose from. It's been sort of a hobby of mine. Collecting DVDs that is."
Evan smiled. "A movie would be nice, but for now, could we just talk?"
Chance walked over and sat on the bed next to the professor. "Of course. What would you like to talk about?"
Evan appeared thoughtful for a moment. "How about for starters, your new home. Are you getting adjusted? Your home is definitely in the middle of nowhere."
"To be honest, when I was moving my things into this room, I did have some doubts. Mainly about the size of my new home. I lived in a two bedroom apartment before this. I wondered if I could be happy living this way."
"And are you?" Evan asked when Chance became silent. "Happy I mean?"
"I am. My job keeps me busy, and when my day ends, I'm so tired I crawl between the sheets and usually go right to sleep."
"Was it hard adjusting to living and working without wearing clothes?"
"Surprisingly enough, that really wasn't much of a problem for me. I think if I was uncomfortable being around any one at first, it was my brother."
"Does it still bother you? Being naked around Bren I mean."
"No, not really. I may be two years older than my brother, but in some ways he's way much wiser than me."
Evan studied Chance's body. The thick curly black hair that covered the man's chest and stomach was almost identical to his brother's body. He admired the way the curls grew wide-spread down to Chance's thick bed of pubes. He felt his cock chub a little and focused his eyes on Chance's face. "Can I ask you a personal question?"
"Of course."
"I know that you've only recently admitted to yourself and to your brother the fact that you are gay. I remember some of the things we talked about the first time we met in the bar. What about sex? Have you had any experience with man on man sex?"
"Damn. You really did mean personal, didn't you?"
Evan grinned. "I did."
"No man on man sex. Unless I count the time that Bren, Tom and I jacked together."
Chance's words surprised Evan. He took a deep breath and asked, "You jacked with those guys?"
"I did. Does that bother you?"
Evan ran his fingers through the dark blond hair on his head. "God, yes it does. And not in a bad way. It actually sounds hot." Evan felt his dick grow thicker, surrounded by his dense forest of cock fur. When he saw Chance's dick growing, Evan gave up all pretense of trying to keep from getting hard. He watched as Chance's cock crawled through his tangle of black pubes and seconds later it was completely hard and pointing up at a forty-five degree angle, extending out from his crotch. Black pubes framed it in, making it a beautiful sight to see.
Evan was hard now, and he made no attempt to hide the fact. Looking at Chance's dick, he asked, "Did you jack off with guys while growing up?"
Chance shook his head. "No, I never did."
Evan was surprised. "Never?"
Chance shook his head again. "Never. I didn't go out for any kind of sports, so I was never in a locker room. I never saw any of my classmates naked. When I jacked with Bren and Tom that was my first time ever to see another cock hard, other than my own."
"I jacked off with several of my friends while growing up," Evan admitted. He reached over and placed a hand in the middle of Chance's chest. "I would love for two things to happen."
Chance looked directly into Evan's eyes. "Two things?"
"Yes. First, and foremost, I'd love to be your friend."
Chance smiled. "I'd like that very much. What's the second thing?"
"I'd love jacking off with my new friend."
Chance wrapped his fingers around his hard shaft. "I think I would love that as well."
Both men began slowly stroking their cocks, and as they did, their legs touched. The pre cum leaking from their dicks made it easy to jack.
Chance locked his eyes on Evan's blond crotch and watched as the professor jacked his dick. Chance felt thick strands of pre cum crawling between his fingers.
Evan was experiencing the same thing. He admired the way Chance stroked his hard cock. He loved the way the man's fist landed in the middle of his pubes each time Chance stroked down. Evan switched hands. He stroked with his left hand and placed his right in the middle of Chance's chest once more. He loved feeling the man's chest hair tickle his fingers. He moved his hand in slow circles and worked his way up to one of Chance's nipples. It was hard to his touch, and he gave it a gentle squeeze. He felt it grow even harder.
Chance shivered. He moaned, and his cock fired its first jet of cum out. It fell to the floor, quickly followed by several more strong spurts. His orgasm hit him so fast that he was left feeling surprised. Still holding his dick between his fingers, he looked down at the floor. When he saw his puddle of man cream, his face turned red. "Shit," he sighed.
Evan switched hands and began jacking faster, fisting his cock with his right hand. He cried out, "God! Going to shoot." He felt an intense wave of pleasure travel through his body as his dick began erupting cum. His spunk landed on the floor so close to Chance's deposit that the two blended together and made one very large puddle.
Chance fell on his back across the bed. "Fuck." He placed an arm across his chest.
Evan lay beside him and grinned. "Chance Wells, we made a mess on your floor."
Chance turned and faced the man. "We did." He placed a hand across Evan's chest. "This has been nice, Evan."
Evan raised his head and asked, "So, are we friends?"
Chance scooted closer. "I believe we are."
Evan moved over so that their bodies could touch. "This has been very nice, my friend."
They talked for a few minutes about different things. It was a nice quiet time, and both men enjoyed it. Evan finally raised up and said, "It's getting late. Let me help you clean the mess up, and then I'd better be on my way back to the Community."
Chance also sat up. "I'll go to the kitchen and get a wet towel." He stood to his feet. "May I ask you something, Evan?"
"Of course. You can ask me anything."
"Would you like to spend the night?"
"Are you serious?"
"I am. I have a lot of things to learn, and I think you're the perfect person to teach me."
Evan stood up and kissed Chance lightly on the mouth. "I'm far from perfect, Chance, but I promise to be a good friend to you. Perhaps even your best friend."
Chance opened the door and turned back to face Evan. "I'll be right back with the towel, and you can begin instructing me."
