"Hot coffee please, for two" Lena said, they are sitting in the café and waiting for each other to speak up, but none of them dare to so Ayen took the chance to break the silence
"So what are you planning for our little play that is if you have any story to start to" Lena don't like the subject so she changed it
"Why don't we get to know each other and forget the play for a while, in fact its going to be held at the end of the school year so we have a whole year to prepare. Tell me where do you come from?"
"Well I'm from downtown as you see, my dad wants me to study in a exclusive school, I don't know why but it seems that he wants me to learn so much and he thinks that our school there don't fit in my advance knowledge about things. My dad act like a prince when he's at home and at work every now and then he's getting promoted."
"Very impressive, I thought you're a scholar here"
"Yeah I am, I'm on top of my class, that's why my dad transferred me here, coz he said it's much better here, and he doesn't want to hear anything from my grandparents that he made the wrong decision in leaving them. I don't know the whole story but enough of that, tell me about you."
"Actually you didn't tell me anything about you, most of the time you are talking about your dad." Ayen thought that she was right, all this nervousness and the coffee is making her more out of line.
"I have told you some things, its ok right, we'll just take it slow so we could know much more than ourselves and also the people around us, right?"
"Ok, its fair enough. I'm a school org president and director as you know, but I don't have much friends, except for Andy but she and her boyfriend are too busy and I don't want to get between them so most of the time I'm alone."
"Too bad, but hey I'm here so you don't have to be alone again" Ayen thinks that this is her chance to know her better to be close
"Well I'm thanking you for that, I wish that we get along well" Lena felt that she is somehow ok and very happy
"Me too" Ayen smiled
"You know what Ayen, your making me very happy, I don't know I'm just happy"
"I'm glad that you are"
They spend a lot more time together then separate when they're about to go home. They became really good friends after that and Lena doesn't seem to be lonely because Ayen is making a lot of joke and she felt that she's very comfortable with her. Ayen assured that Lena is not going to be bored and they get along really well.
"Do you have anything to do this weekend, coz I'm going out shopping, wanna come?" Lena asked Ayen
"Sure and are you available up to dinner so we can eat, it's my treat"
"Why not, you have me all day" Ayen smiled because it's her birthday on weekend and she's glad that she is spending it with Lena
"See you at 10 and I'm picking you up"
"Ok" Ayen agreed
Saturday came and they had a lot fun together, still Lena doesn't have any idea that it's Ayen's birthday.
"Hey Ayen why are you so worried it's only 5 in the afternoon and we don't have to eat till 7, you still have 2 hours to cancel you offer"
"It's not about that I'm worried, will you excuse me I have to call someone"
"Ok" Ayen run through the telephone booth and want to reach her butler on how the things are going in the hotel
"Hello, Jean is everything ready, I'm feeling nervous and I want it perfect"
"Don't worry mademoiselle, everything is alright, just have fun"
"See you later"
Ayen is a prince daughter but she doesn't know anything about it, her dad tells her that it's just his hard work that he is giving everything she wants and she believes that. And having a butler doesn't mean she's important he only tells her that it's for her guidance and assistance when he is not there when she needs him.
Ayen went to Lena feeling satisfied, they stroll the mall and buy what they want until 6:30 came.
"So let's go, I have a reservation down by a hotel, I'll just tell you where when we got there" Ayen said, so they put their stuff in the car and headed to some five star hotel.
In the hotel, Jean is telling everybody not to act weird when Ayen came because Ayen is the owner of the hotel and He's dad stand as the president till she is in her right age to control it. They keep everything secret to Ayen because her father doesn't know when is the right time to tell her everything.
"Where are we going to eat?" Lena asked
"Just park in there and we'll walk" Lena is quite confused because Ayen is not telling her where they are heading
"Really Ayen where are we going"
"Just follow me" she followed her until they came to the hotel
"Don't tell me that we are going to eat in there" Lena points
"Yes, because it's my birthday"
"What! You didn't tell me, I haven't got anything for you"
"It's ok, just you makes it more better" as Ayen said this they both feel a little ashamed of one another
Lena feels so glad and realizes that she doesn't see Ayen as a friend anymore, because she feels more than that, much more^Å Ayen never thought that she could say something to Lena like that, she's afraid that she had made the wrong move on their blooming friendship.
"Happy Birthday Ayen" Lena kissed Ayen before they enter the hotel. Ayen stunned she went blank
"Hey! It's just a kiss, you've done it to me twice remember" but Lena meant this kiss
"Yeah I remember, come on let's eat" they entered the hotel and Ayen saw Jean and assists them to the restaurant. On the reserved table there is a small cake in the center and Lena saw it first
"Look there's your cake" maybe that's the one you reserved
"Maybe" Ayen smiled at her and they both blushed
Jean led them to the table and they eat as many as they want and they danced as long as they want. Both girls are having fun and Ayen never felt so happy before on her birthday. Lena too had a great time and wished that Ayen could be her friend for a long time or maybe, more than that...
