Gay

I woke up with Jake in my arms. It was just so beautiful, the sunshine puring in on both of us was like a blessing. I softly kissed him on the cheek and he awoke. Those slits opened and became those bright innocent eyes I loved so dearly. He pecked me on the lips and hugged me.

"Time for breakfast!" Laura called to us.

"Be right there" Jake called back.

Jake went down first, and he sat down at the table. Laura made eggs, bacon, and sausages.

"looks delicious, Laura" I said

"oh, thanks, I just thought you guys should get a good breakfast in you before we head to......you know....."

"I know" and I put my hand on her shoulder then hugged her.

I sat down and ate the breakfast, it was very good, the eggs were perfectly cooked as was the sausage, and the bacon had just the right amount of fat on it. Jake caught me by suprise and kiss me, I had a piece of bacon hanging out of my mouth. The room erupted in a laughter.

We all got ready for the funeral, me and Jake got our suits on, and Laura got her dress on. I walked over to Jake to make sure his tie was straight, it was a little crooked. He looked so hot right now, I couldn't bear it, god help me if I rape him hehe.

We got in the car and drove to the church. I couldn't help but notice Jake, he was staring out the window, a very sad expression on his face. I reached over and put my had on his cheek, and he looked at my with tears in his eyes. He buried his face in my chest, the same way he had in the locker room, and cried. I looked up and saw Laura's eyes in the mirror, she had a sad face too, looking at Jake. Then she went back to driving.

Once the car came to a stop at the church, Jakes head went up. He looked at it and sighed. I took Jakes hand and kissed him, and made sure it was long and full of love, he needed it. We got out of the car holding hands.

"What are these, two faggots? I didn't know your son was a queer Laura" laughed Jakes uncle.

"Go on Jake...." I said, and he walked away with laura,

"Go ahead fuckface, say that again" I spit at him.

"What are you gonna do about it, fuckin queer" He gave me a disgusted look. It's a shame, under the suit he couldn't see my muscle.

I took him by the collar and threw him down on the cement. I got on top of him and gave him a few hits to the face, it was only like, 3 hits.

But his nose was bleeding, and his lips was cut open. I told him he had better not go to the funeral or I'd put him in the casket after we were done. He immediately left.

Before I went back in I made sure all of my agitation was gone, the nerve. How could someone say that at this time, I mean how could someone say that at all?

I walked inside and saw the back of Jakes head, he was sitting alone, Laura was off somewhere esle, talking with relatives. I walked over silently and sat with him. Jake wasn't crying, but his eyes were all red from crying.

The priest started the ceremony and we all stood up. Jake had stayed strong through most over it, but I glanced over and I saw Jake biting his lip, and his eyes were shrink wrapped in tears. He looked like a hurt animal, it was so sad. I put my arm around his waist and pulled him closer to me. He rested his head on my should, he refused to cry.

Once the ceremony was finished, Jake broke down and started bawling. I took Jake outside to get some air, it helps. We both walked outside, I remember this from my funeral. Going outside to get fresh air, looking at the buildings and cars, it all seems unreal, not the face that the person died, everything, it just was.....unreal.

On the silent car ride home Jake said something to me.

"Dylan......"

"Yeah Jake?"

"I wish I could have been there for you, like you were there for me"

"Jake, I wish you were there for me too, and from now on, we will be there for both of each other...from now on....always.."

Jake smiled at me. I kissed him tenderly on the lips. We went to Jakes house and Laura asked me if I wanted to go home, and I said no. I wanted to be with Jake, I needed to be with Jake.
