Turning over in bed, Alex felt at his side. He panned his hand over emptiness. Then after confirming no one was in bed next to him, Alex flopped back down. His hand went to his pubes, with no particular urge. As he felt up his softness, he smiled, recalled the fantastic blow job, which seemed to go on for hours. Looking at the clock, it read three hours since he and Kyle hit the sack. He wondered which part of the time had been spent sleeping and the remainder of the time preceeding it, with lots of action.

"Are you going to lay there all night?"

"Hmm?" Alex said, smiling, still enjoying the reminiscing.

"Don't forget we have a guest coming for dinner," Kyle reminded him.

"Carlos! Right," Alex spoke, as he sat up.

"You smell like sex. Go hit the shower while I take care of changing these sheets," came the ultimatum. Climbing out of the bed, Alex sideswiped Kyle, giving him a peck on the lips, saying, "It felt awesome. Thanks!"

Kyle smiled, going about his business of stripping the sheets from the bed.

Still in a daze, Alex proceeded to the jon, took a whiz, then turned on the shower. As he looked in the mirror, he wondered whether he shaved this morning. No matter. If he decided to get rid of the late afternoon stubble, it would come after washing the sex off his bod. He pushed back the three part partition and then entered the steamy enclosure. "Aaaaaaah" he said, following his usual habit of planing the water out over his chest and stomach. As his left hand loosened up his sticky pubes, his right hand went for the cake of soap. Turning around, he soaped up his front, letting the water cascade down his back. He stopped, looking down, noticing his body hair dictating the pathways the soap took, as he swirled the bar over his pecs and abs. "Hmm... I guess I am kind of hairy for an eighteen year old!" After he washed the soap off, still fixated with Kyle's words, he looked down again, seeing the water hadn't done that much to obliterate the amounts of body hair covering his front. Later, towel-dried it seemed to increase ten-fold. In the mirror, he admired how the dried look made it seem his chest hair started at the top of his shoulders and nape of his neck, lay about the natural contour of his pecs, then culminate in a thin trail, shooting right down his stomach, seemingly entering his navel, then exit. Of course, his pubes looked like any other guys, but for a teen it seemed like Alex had more of it!

Sticking his head in the door, Kyle said, "I'm working on the dinner. Do you know how to use a vacuum?"

"Do I know how to use a vacuum?" Alex said sarcastically. "My mom had me vacuuming as soon as I could walk!"

"Smart mom!" Kyle said, smiling, then making his exit, after telling him, "It's in the hall closet."

Turning back to the mirror, he forgot about his bod, looking towards his face. "Hmm," he thought out loud, "Stephen Braddock looks kind of distinguished with a goatee...." Studying his face at different angles Alex sees where he may benefit from the same.

Meanwhile, Kyle has busied himself in the kitchen, preparing veal parmesan. Pounding the hell out of several fillets of veal, he's dredged them in egg, then coated with bread crumbs. Now they're frying up in a griddle.

"Voila!" Alex shouts, hands out to his sides, as if an actor on the stage presenting himself.

"Hmm... you smell great."

"Notice anything different?" Alex inquires.

"New tee shirt?"

"Nope. One of yours."

"That's `my' tee shirt?"

"Happens when you have a million of them," Alex sarcastically says. "What else?"

"If it's not your clothes, then....." Scanning his bod, Kyle surveys Alex's arms and legs, leaving the head for last. Standing back, he guesses, "You combed your hair different?"

"No, doofus. I'm growing a goatee!"

"A what? Where?"

"Right here. See it? I shaved around here and here, carving out the middle of my chin...."

Stepping closer, Kyle studies Alex's chin, reporting, "Oh yeah. I think I see a little stubble."

"Well, tomorrow it'll come in thicker and soon, after a few days, it'll really look defined."

"Why all of a sudden?" Kyle asks, going back to the sizzling veal.

"I dunno. I kind of liked the one Stephen Braddock was wearing."

"Is that it? Getting ready for the cool, clothing crowd?" Kyle jokes.

"I dunno," Alex tells him. "I don't have to be cool. That's not my objective. I just want to be creative and have people experience my creativity by buying my product."

"That's sweet. Did you vacuum?"

Giggling, Alex replies, "Not yet. I'll get right on it, captain!"

He salutes and marches off. Finding the canister vacuum in the closet, Alex expertly fits the pieces together. With haste, he runs over the bare floor in the living room, the carpet laid out in front of the fireplace slows him down. Pushing the sofas on each side back, he does under them, commenting to himself how slobby the domestic help has been, allowing dirt and dust to collect underneath. Doubling back near the closet, he covers the foyer, shifting around the umbrella stand, while holding the crook of the hose under his chin. Opening the small foyer closet, he spots somebody's jacket on the floor. He stops, straddling the metal cylinder of the vac, between his knees, bends over, picks up the jacket and hangs it up. The wand slips up his legs. "Ooooooh," Alex moans, as the vibrating metal makes contact with his balls. The works fall to the floor. After hanging up the jacket, Alex swears, "I'm gonna volunteer for this duty more often!" Back out to the main room, he works his way over to the kitchen, pushing through the two cafe doors.

"No, you don't have to do in here," Kyle tells him.

"Okay. Next stop upstairs," Alex reports.

"You don't have to drag the vacuum up the stairs. There's one in the hall linen closet."

"Sweet!" Alex says, happy he doesn't have to wrestle with the older model vacuum.

Putting it away, he hustles up the stairs. Opening the linen closet for the first time, he gets pummeled by tons of towels, piling out. "What tha!" He exclaims, catching the first two, letting the next seven or eight gather at his feet. Shaking his head, he just looks up and down at the mess; sheets packed in every which way, integrated with bath and hand towels, wash cloths stuffed wherever they could fit. Standing there, assessing the situation, Alex decides to start over from scratch. Sheets and pillowcases were deposited at his right side, towels dumped at his left side. Scrutinizing the now empty closet, except for his original purpose, the vacuum, he looks every shelf over. Finally he decides to split the closet from top to bottom, sheet sets to the right, towels to the left. Neatly folding the bath towels in squares, he begins the cotton towering to his left. About chest height he adds hand towels and washcloths to the next shelf. Having his own system for folding sheets, the way he remembers his mother teaching him, fitted inside the flat sheet, along with pillow case, done up in a nice, neat package, he lines the right shelf.

"Cooking's done for the most part, how's the vacuuming coming?" Kyle asks, standing at the top of the stairway, hands on hips, scanning the arrangment of the linen closet.

"I haven't started yet," Alex tells him.

"What have you been doing up here? Playing with yourself?"

Smirking, Alex replies, "No. You're better at it than I am, so I'm waiting for you."

"Cool!" Kyle takes it seriously. "Hey! Who done that?" He asks of the neatly arranged closet.

"Who do you think? My mom would deem this place a total disgrace!"

"Really? What's wrong with it, other than the linen closet a little disarranged?"

"Little?" Alex mocks, "I open it up and get bombed with a million towels. By the have, has anybody looked under the living room furniture lately?"

"No. Should I?"

"Not now. I cleaned under it, but it was starting to look like a dust bunny breeding ground!"

Kyle couldn't help but giggle, but then settled down saying, "You can thank Knapp for that. It was his job to do the vacuuming."

"With his muscles, he could have lifted the sofa with his pinky."

Still smiling, Kyle went on agreeing. He also added, "I guess we haven't exactly been Mr. Cleans around here."

"Well yeah, not to mention the yellow tub... is it supposed to be white?"

"Um yeah, to match the toilet and sink," Kyle informs him.

"I won't mention the toilet."

"Thanks. I know it's got ring-around-the-collar," Kyle says, adding more to the untidyness of two bachelors living together.

Alex stands there, losing his attitude, smirking, his lips slowly turning to a smile.

Kyle adds to matters, "I think I'm going to like your goatee."

Standing there, in a cool position, left hand on hip, Alex grooms his `goatee' with his right hand fingers.

"Only thing, it's going to take some used to kissing it."

"I betcha you'll catch on real quick, if you do it often!"

It was a hint Kyle refused to let go by. After the first kiss, he said, "Not so bad."

"It's barely coming in. Wait til it's as thick as Braddock's."

"It will be interesting, to say the least," Kyle comments. Then he suggests, "We don't need to vacuum up here today. Care for a glass of wine?"

Closing the closet door, Kyle paves the way down the stairs, heading for the kitchen. All set out, he has the wine glasses.

"Seven?" Alex counts. "Who else is coming besides Carlos, Dustin and Raj?"

"I wanted to keep it a secret. Devon called while you were sleeping. He and Dom are on their way back from Lake Quinn."

"Really? Devon?" Alex says excitedly.

"Yup," Kyle seconds it.

"It seems like ages since I've seen him."

Even though it's been a few days, when you miss your best friend, it could seem like forever.

"As I understand it, the people he lived with..."

"His aunt and uncle," Alex supplies the missing info.

"Yeah, apparently his uncle didn't like the idea of Devon going off to New York City, shacking up with Dom and going to school here, so kicked him out."

"Figures. Devon's uncle is a fucking bigot. Ever since Devon mentioned he was gay, his uncle has been giving him a hard time of it."

"Why didn't he leave before this?" Kyle asks.

"The courts. He had to stay with them, plus his uncle didn't mind the monthly allowance, even though he treated Devon like shit!"

"Then I'm glad he met Dom."

"Me too. It's the break he needed. I feel happy for Devon."

"I can sense it."

"Which brings me to something," Alex says, acting with caution.

"Sounds serious."

"It's really nothing, but I'd like you to know."

"Okay. If you feel this strongly about it, but it's not going to change how I feel about you, Alex."

Alex blurts out, "For awhile there, Devon and I spent a lot of time talking."

"That's it?"

"No. Wait." Alex paused, then continued, "We became curious about our emotions for each other. Lots of times, after school, he'd come over. We'd go down to the basement and make out."

"And?"

"That's it," Alex confided in his teen lover, "then as soon as it started, it ended."

"Why is that?"

Shrugging his shoulders, Alex replied, "Because nothing was there. Whatever feelings we had been zoning in on, dissolved."

"What a shame," Kyle said. "He's such a great looking guy, too."

"Yeah, but think of it. If our relationship had developed into something more, I wouldn't be standing here talking with you!"

"True," Kyle told him, finally uncorking the bottle of red wine, pouring out two glasses. Lifting them, handing one to Alex, he exclaimed, "to us!"

Alex smiled and added, "Now and forever!"

They romantically wound the crook of their arms around each other, and sipped.

"Oooooooh, look what I've gone and done!" Alex said, backing off the wine glass.

"My fault. I moved," Kyle confessed. "That's okay, I still have 99,999 tee shirts available to wear!"

Right away, as he walked up the stairs, stripping the wine-soiled tee shirt, Alex thought of moving on to the next draw, emptying it of the stuffed in mess and neatly folding each tee shirt, before replacing it back, except the one he picked out to throw over his head, letting it fall down his bod, planing it out over his pecs and stomach getting a strange sensation. The same shirt he had on, once fit around Kyle's hot bod.
