Chapter 6

"You mean you've lived with guy for 2 1/2 years and he doesn't know you're gay?" Geoff was stunned. I had called him after breakfast to discuss the impending meeting I had with Randy.

"No, he thinks I'm as straight as they come." I replied.

"How? Haven't you ever hinted that to him that you might like guys?"

"I may have once in our freshman year, but something happened last year that would have put all doubt out of his mind if he had any." I gritted my teeth, I knew this story was coming out one way or another and maybe more than once today. There was a long pause on the other end of the line. I got very nervous, like Geoff knew what I was going to say. I hoped he wouldn't ask . . . he did.

"So, what did you do?" I swallowed hard and proceeded to tell him the short version.

"Last March, we shared 5 women between us in our room." There was an awkward pause, like neither of us knew what to say or where to go next. Geoff ended the silence,

"Why you little bi-slut!" I laughed, as I was getting to know him better, I understood his tones, his mannerisms, he was joking . . . at least I was pretty sure.

"So you're not mad?" I asked quickly.

"No, numbnuts, I'm not mad." I breathed a sigh of relief. I then realized I'd been insulted and knew I had to respond,

"Hey who you calling 'numbnuts'? As I recall just a few hours ago, both our nuts were working pretty well." Geoff laughed.

"Yeah, they were, but mine are aching again. Guess it's that time of the month!" He had done it again, I was extremely confused.

"Huh? You don't have a secret, do you?"

"No," Geoff chuckled, "but don't you notice that about once a month, you just can't get enough and you feel like you need to cum every half-hour?" I was stunned, this was a side of Geoff I'd never seen or heard before. Was this the same guy who had been restricting our activities so much that we gave each other our first handjobs this morning even though we'd been going out for just over a month.

"Keep it in the corral, stallion. We'll see what comes up tonight." I used the sexual overtone on purpose, semi-hoping to entice him again.

"Oh, it's up now." he said, "want to do something about it?" Man, he was going nuts, but then again, so was I. Maybe things would move a little quicker now.

"Later, I have class in 15 minutes."

"So?" Damn, he was horny.

"I promised myself as a freshman that I would never skip class for sex."

"Yeah, and I promised myself as a freshman that I would be married by the time I was a junior. Those freshman promises aren't worth shit." He was right and I knew it, but I did have something else on my mind.

"Can we bring this back to why I called you? What should I tell Randy?" His tone got very serious, like the older brother's voice of reason, more like the Geoff I had gotten to know over the past month.

"You have two choices, you can make up a story or you can tell him the truth. The story may be hard to remember the details of if he should ask, truth, although easier to remember the specifics of, may be harder to live with. I don't know, you know Randy, I've never met him, I don't know what he thinks of gay people. You have to make that determination." He stopped talking. I didn't know what to say. "You okay?" he asked.

"Yeah, I'm just thinking. Thanks, Geoff, I have to get to class."

"Okay. Hey you sound like you're going to have a long afternoon, why don't I take you out to dinner tonight. I'll meet you at 5:30? Unless you think that Randy might have a problem if you tell him and I show up."

"No, meet me here at 5:30, it should be good. See you tonight."

"Okay," Geoff said, "Just whatever you do, be strong, and remember, no matter what happens, at least one person loves you." With that he hung up. I did too and headed off to class. The three hours that had already happened that day had felt like three days, how was I ever going to make it to 4:30? -----------------------------
