Hey y'all. Back again. That was quick ain't it? Well sorry that this chapter is kinda short as well. I'm trying to keep up with all the demands y'all make to keep updating the show as quick as possible. Believe you me, this fingers been busy dancing over my keyboard every single day! If I break a nail, I'm gonna blame you! Hehe. Anyway, here's part 52 for your culinary delights. Enjoy!

Anyway, lets get on with the show. Hope you all enjoy it! Any comments or suggestions, well, you know how to contact me. My Yahoo ID is Goldenknightuk if you wish to send me an instant message. Sorry for any bad grammars boys and girl. C'mon! Nobody's perfect!! :)

Before the show, onwards to the boring part! Legal matters! Hehehe. You can press 'fast-forward' now.

Well, first of all, this story, as you will certainly find out soon, is TOTALLY fictional. So! If any of you truly believe in it... dude, I'm worried about you. Secondly! None of the guys in the Backstreet Boys are gay! (No matter how hard I wished it :P). But nobody say we couldn't dream it, heh heh. Thirdly, Warren Worthington is actually a character from Marvel Comics, X-men known as Angel or recently Archangel. Okay fine, I admit it. I'm bored and I am making a pathetic attempt to make life a lil' bit interesting. Its not like I'm gonna publish it or something. What else to talk about hmm? Oh, there may be some adult gay scenes in this story. Unlike my brother, I don't mind writing naughty stuff ;) so! If you're underage, naughty, naughty! I can only ask you to go away, but I cannot do anything else to stop you from reading on anyway. Hell! I've been sneaking into the internet to watch gay porns since I was 13! So, if your parents or whoever responsible for you catch you, don't say I didn't warned you. However, if you're homophobic... well maybe I can seduce you enough to turn you around heh heh. I do so love a challenge ;)

Anyway, enough talk. Any comments or boos or suggestion or whatever, just sent it to the same address as in NNTs, goldenknightuk@yahoo.co.uk . Yeah, we shared the same address. Don't ask. Long story.

Okay then! On to the show. Now, don't be shy now. If you got any comments or suggestions, just drop me a note. You do the request, and I'll do the show.

Part 52: 'Love is Alive'

"BOOOOOOOOOOOBBBBBBBBBYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!"

Lance's breathing came out as short raspy gasps after that as he held the laughing mutant as tightly as he ever held anyone before in his life, his eyes wide open despite the onrushing wind.

"I'M NOT ENJOYING THIS!!!" Lance shrieked again, wide-eyed as he watched the ground rushing up towards him.

"I kinda got that impression from your nails digging into my back, but thanks for spelling it out, Spiky." Bobby laughed as they made a steep - well, almost vertical - slide towards the ground. "Here comes the ground! Here comes the ground! Whoops! Well, will you look at that! We're going up again!!"

By that time, Lance has already had his eyes tightly shut, shrieking wordless plea to the heavens, begging for rescue from 'this crazy mutant'.

The pair of them slides back to the sky as Bobby uses his power to form the ice ramp upwards once again. At other times, it would be fascinating to see the ice quickly forming out of thin air before them and with Bobby fully shifted in his ice form from head to toe, the speed at which he can slide over it is terrifying... which leads to Lance cursing again and again for being such a fool to ask for a full demonstration!! He clings on to the mutant tightly, despite the coldness of the ice. Bobby may be warm and cuddly when in his human form, but when he is fully shifted in his ice form... he is 100% ice, inside and out!!

Wind rushes up against them and Lance finally opened his eyes, his heart beating so hard and wild, it's a wonder he didn't die from a heart attack. Hell, his blood pressure must be off the scale by now. His gaze fell onto Bobby's smiling face... well, what looks like a smiling face. In his ice form, it looks like someone has taken a block of ice and delicately carved a head with a smiling face on it. The mutant's eyes still twinkle with amusement and mischief but in his icy form, it is no longer a normal human eyes. The pupils and everything else are gone, replaced by an icy mass that seems to glow slightly with pale bluish light.

"Do you need more demonstration?" The icy face asked happily, one hand stretched out before them as he pours out his ice blast to create the ice ramp while the other wrapped around Lance's torso tightly as they slide on.

"PUTMEDOWN,DRAKE!! PUTMEDOWN!! I'MFREEZING! ICAN'TEVEN FEELMYFINGERSANYMORE!! PUTMEDOWN!!! The hoarse panicked words pour out from Lance's lips so fast, even he couldn't understand what he was saying. His horrified eyes are still staring at the small dots of lights signifying the city far below them.

"Oh come on, baby! You ain't see nothin' yet! Watch this!" Bobby laughed.

"DRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKE!!"

If someone was watching them from below, they could see Bobby making a perfect loop in the air at top speed, shouting 'Woo-hoo' even as Lance howls at the top of his lungs in terror.

"Deep breaths... Deep breaths... I'm not going to fall... I'm not going too fall..." Lance gasped out breathlessly with his eyes tightly shut again. "I gasp swear to God, I'm gonna kill you when we get home. gasp I SWEAR IT! YOU HEAR ME?? I SWEAR IT!! BY MORNING THERE'S GONNA BE ONE X-MAN SHORT IN THE TEAM!!!!"

"Pretty cool, huh?" Bobby cheerful answer greeted him in return. "It's like skateboarding without using a skateboard."

"GET ME DOWWWWWNNN!!!!" Lance howled in return and Bobby laughed before finally turning around.

"Fine. Demonstration session is over. Home it is then. Hold on tight, baby, cause this mutant is going down with style!

The wind rushes up again as they made their descent at top speed. The world blurred and amidst the shrieking, Lance dimly wondered how Nick was able to endure this while flying with Warren.

By the time they reach the back of Lance's house, the singer's voice was hoarse from the shouting.

"Now that is how you got from point A to point B with style and attitude." Bobby smirked as he posed arrogantly at the edge of the swimming pool.

"I... am... going... to... KILL YOU!!!" Lance shouted as he leaped at the laughing mutant and began to strangle his neck vigorously.

Fortunately, the situation resolved itself when Bobby, still laughing hysterically, tripped and fell into the pool, carrying the other man with him.

SPLASH!!

One minute, Lance had all the pleasure and delight in the world to strangle Bobby's neck for all its worth. But in another minute, somehow, he found himself resurfacing and spluttering in the middle of his own pool.

Bobby resurfaced a brief moment later, spitting and coughing out water from his mouth. He has somehow shifted back into his human form. Even after everything he went through tonight, Lance couldn't help smiling at the scene.

"Oh God, I think cough! I swallowed half the water in the pool." Bobby sputtered out.

"Serve you right. Here, have more." Lance smiled grimly and splash more water at him, though his eyes seem more focused on the mutants glistening chest. He never noticed how good this guy look without his shirt.

"Hey! Now that's very mature of you." Bobby replied before splashing back at him. "Two can play that game."

Lance blinked in surprise as the water splashed back at him.

"Oh, you did not just do that." He narrowed his eyes grimly. "You better be ready to use your power, Ice-bucket, because this human gonna wash your little mutant icy behind!!"

"Laan... mmmpppHHHHH....!!!" The rest if his sentence was cut off as Bobby vanished back into the waters.

Another pleasant summer night. The breeze blew by gently, sending soft ripples of water into every direction. Stars, white and bright, lay scattered across the clear night sky, glittering to its brightest, forming mysterious constellations that has formed and shaped the lives of mankind since the beginning of time.

Nick leaned against the rail, staring in silence at the waters before him, calm, rippling slightly against the wind. Silvery moonlight bathed the area as it got reflected back into the air by the water. He looked down to stare at his own reflection in the water. How much of him has changed after these past years? How much of him has changed now?

He smiled even before he felt the hands wrapping itself around him from behind and a chin settling over his right shoulder. The love from Warren's mind burn brightly like the sun in the morning sky, warming his soul, drowning everything else everywhere - though there's not much to feel at the moment where they are right now.

"There's more peace in your mind now compared to before." Warren smiled.

"We're alone in the middle of the ocean." Nick smiled blissfully as he lift his eyes to stare at the moon. "For the first time in my life, I don't have to fight to keep other people's emotions out of my mind. I... I feel... 'myself'... more now than ever."

"Feels good isn't it?" Warren murmured, pulling Nick closer against him. "It's every telepath and empath's dream, if I'm not mistaken."

"Yeah." Nick whispered back, turning around to smile at his lover. "And a night in your yacht makes it even more better. I've never had a date like this before."

"The ultimate privacy." Warren smiled back, flapping his wings lazily against the gentle night breeze. "We can be ourselves as much as we want. No reporters. No worries about your name in the tabloids tomorrow. We can prance naked all night if we want to."

"Wow. Stop giving me ideas." Nick laughed as he wrapped his own hands around the mutant and hugged him close. "Mmmm... I missed this..."

"I have champagne ready over there if you want."

"Candlelight dinner, champagne, the moonlight, grilled steak..." Nick remarked happily, lifting up the tray cover as he peers at the steaming dishes. "I knew there was a huge reason why I love you. Do tell me you prepared all this by yourself."

"Are you kidding me?" Warren laughed as he sat, folding his wings neatly as he did. "This is Warren Worthington the Third you're talking about. He don't go about cooking big meals. He might break a nail and the world will end if that happen."

"Butler-cooked meals then." Nick replied as he lifts this glass. "For us?"

"For love." Warren smiled back and their glasses clinked together. "Bon appetite. So how's your little date with Lance?"

"It was great. Then we had a long walk at the beach... and then we went back home and had hot passionate sex in the Jacuzzi."

"Geez. I can feel the waves of jealousy crashing upon me by the minutes. But then, picturing you two doing it in the Jacuzzi is kinda hot as well. Nick and Lance. Two hot singers. Kissing and licking and rubbing each other and..."

"Aaaaaanyway," Nick interrupted right before joining Warren's laughter. "Anyway, how's your business on the high Worthington throne in New York? Are you going ahead with your crazy plans of coming out to the public?"

Warren stares at his dish for a moment or two, using his fork to play with his food while biting his lips in silence, before answering.

"Yeah." He whispered his answer at last.

Nick doesn't need to look at his lover's eyes to know how worried he is. The feeling on vulnerability that seeped through the link is answer enough and he reaches out to touch Warren's cheek with his finger gently.

"Then we'll do it together." Nick smiled as Warren jerked up to look at him. "A multi-billionaire and a famous Backstreet Boy singer. Both mutants, both in love, and both proud of it."

"You can't be serious!" Warren replied.

"Baby, I won a major battle with my family. I think I'm ready to face the world." Nick replied back. "Even if the world doesn't accept me, I still have you and my family on my side... and that is more that I could ever bargain for in life."

"What about you carrier? Outing yourself as a mutant might be the beginning of the end for the Backstreet Boys." Warren asked, struggling hard not to smile. "I seem to remember a familiar scared-looking young man sitting in bed in the hotel room when he realized that he is an empath."

Nick smiled broadened at the hint and his eyes flashed as he accepted the challenge.

"Does this face look like he care about that anymore? That scared-looking young man is no more. He's a mutant and proud of it. DO YOU HEAR THAT WORLD? NICK CARTER IS A MUTANT AND HE'S PROUD OF IT!!!!!"

Warren stared at him for a moment or two before bursting out in laughter.

"You are crazy." He laughed. "You are fucking crazy."

Nick smiled and placed his hand over Warren's.

"I think that's one of the reasons why you love me."

"Umm... make it one of the one hundred and seventy-six reasons why I love you." Warren smirked and Nick laughed.

"Someone has obviously been counting!"

"What do you think I was doing lying in bed alone in New York for the past two nights?"

"Jacking off while dreaming of me?" said Nick and he is rewarded with a poke on his side.

"Nobody like a wise guy, y'know." Warren responded gruffly, wriggling his wings to look fierce but struggling to hold off his laughter. "Though getting cocky makes it one hundred and seventy-seven."

And the night immediately filled with laughter again.
