Episode One: Bienvenido A Hunter AKA Welcome to Hunter
Why do people automatically assume that because you have the perfect life that you yourself are perfect? Sure the residence of Hunter, California has money and things that come with money. We are the envy of all around us. But just because our lives look perfect doesn't mean that we are perfect. We all are harboring secrets. Take me for instance.
My name is Cody Matthews. I might have said that everyone in Hunter may have a secret but I don't. I'm gay. That's not a secret. My secret is that I don't have one. I'm sixteen. I'm gay. I'm just living my life. By my own rules and in my own way.
We as people spend so much time living lies that we don't spend enough time living.
But if you think that I am the only one in Hunter who is gay or the only one in Hunter who is hiding something you are sadly mistaken. Because the people who are envied are the ones who should be doing the envying.
What did you think of this first episode? I wanted to rewrite an old story of mine to introduce a group of boys who are each the same in one way but completely different in the other. I hope that you all enjoy this story because this is already my guilty pleasure. LOL.
