Brian and Tucker Part Two Chapter Eleven
Once back in the city, they all felt like they had never been away. Brian and Tuck avoided sex with their wives that Monday night, blaming exhaustion and the late hour. It was really true.
They went to the gym early Tuesday morning. There were more people there than usual. The fathers had no opportunity for even a quickie, but they were pretty sated anyway. Brian drove them to work feeling sorry for Tuck who had done the driving all weekend.
Unless they were certain that both of them would be in the office all day, Jim and Jeff took separate cars to work every morning. Often a client would call with a problem and they would have to run out to see the client and then come directly home from there. Tuesday morning they did their run as usual, showered, avoided hanky panky so they wouldn't be late to work, and took separate cars to work. They met at Denny's for breakfast. Then Jeff went to work and Jim stopped at a nearby Best Buy and bought Ron a good accounting program designed for professional businesses.
When he got to the office, Jeff told Jim that he had called Michael and set up a dinner date with him and Jerry for Thursday evening. He had then called Ron and cleared it with him and Foster, who would `accidentally' run into them at the restaurant. "I also told him you'd be calling to come over and set up his accounting system on his computer, and discuss the mundane fee situation. He cautioned us to go easy," Jeff laughed. "I assured him that we would make him an offer he couldn't refuse."
Jim hung up his jacket in his office and buzzed Jeannine. She was there in an instant with her steno pad. "You won't need that," he said. "Here's a new client's business card. Would you put the data in our computer system, and I'll give you his federal ID number after my first visit. Please call him for me and set up an appointment for us for today, if possible." As she started to leave, he added, "Thanks, Jeannine." With that she turned and smiled at him.
A few minutes later, she buzzed him and said that Ron Fisher was on the phone and would like to talk to him.
"Hi buddy," Ron's cheery voice greeted him. "How about we have lunch together, and we can work on the systems after lunch. Foster is available for lunch so would you see if Jeff can make it too."
"It's a go if we can find a place to eat where it's a certainty that Mike, I mean Michael, won't run into us," Jim answered. "I want him to be really surprised Thursday evening. By the way, Jerry will be there too, so I guess they are still going strong."
"No sweat." Ron said. "I just called his office. I needed to speak to him about a new problem, and his secretary told me that he had just left for a luncheon and seminar and it was at least an hour's drive away. I'll need to discuss that little problem with you also, so it will be a working lunch." That being said, Jim told Ron how to find the little restaurant that he and Jeff often ate lunch at and they agreed to meet at 12:30.
When the four guys met, the greeting was restricted to handshakes. They were all wearing suits, ties, the whole scene. For the entire world to judge, it was a typical business man's lunch. Once everyone's order was taken, Jim asked Ron, "So what's the big problem?"
"It's not really a problem. It's just a slight change in plans. Foster and I have been talking, and although a financial advisory office and an architectural office are not exactly compatible, we've decided to share office space until we both get going. It will sure save a lot of overhead," Ron explained.
"It sure will," Jeff agreed. "It's not as way out as you think. Have you ever heard of executive offices?" He didn't wait for an answer. "That's where a number of businesses lease one space, but each has a separate office and they each share one secretary. It's a real money saver, Economics 101," he concluded.
Jim added, "You can even share the accounting program I bought you. It can be set up for several different companies. I'll show you when we get to your office. Now let's talk about Thursday."
That got everyone laughing. They giggled like school girls plotting their big surprise for Michael.
Michael had chosen a gay owned restaurant that was not a strictly gay place. Although the vast majority of the patrons were gay, many straights frequented the restaurant as well. The food and service had received high praise by the food critic of the local newspaper and that had attracted a wide variety of diners.
Jim and Jeff were to meet Michael and Jerry there at 6:30 and Ron and Foster would come by at 6:45. This was their plan and this is what happened.
The restaurant was good at honoring reservations and the first arrivals were seated by 6:35. They ordered drinks but declined to order food just yet. While waiting for the drinks, Jim, who was sitting next to Jerry, put his hand on Jerry's arm, rubbed it seductively, and whispered, "So what's going on with you two?"
Before Jerry could answer, Jeff saw the second platoon enter the restaurant and he shouted to Jim, "Look who's here." Jim looked, and the two of them jumped up, ran to Ron and Foster, and the four got tangled up in hugs and what could only be described as passionate kisses.
Jerry didn't know who these guys were so he just looked curious, but Michael's jaw dropped. He sat glued to his chair. He saw Jeff approach the maitre'd. Some words were exchanged and their waiter approached their table. He told Michael and Jerry that they were moving them to a table for six.
There was a little confusion but eventually they were all seated and Michael found his voice, and he introduced Jerry to Ron and Foster. Then Jeff asked Michael, "You guys know each other?"
"Ron's my client and he was supposed to call you for accounting services."
"No kidding, "Jeff said.
"I just never got around to it, "Ron lied. "And when we met, I never connected the name. I didn't even look at the card you gave me," Ron advised Michael.
"So then how do you all know each other?" Michael wanted to know, more like he demanded to know.
By agreement Ron answered. He lowered his voice to a whisper so that he could not be heard beyond their table. "We met last weekend. We were all on a fishing trip. It was quite a weekend. We hit it off real well, and the four of us spent two days fucking and sucking. I can't remember how many times I changed partners. Can you remember Foster, honey? God my ass is still so sore, I can hardly take a dump. I'm just forced to hold it in."
Michael was speechless. After a little while, he managed to croak out, "What about your fathers, Jeff? Weren't they on the trip?"
"Oh they didn't mind a bit. My dad said that if it made Jim and me happy then he was happy for us."
Michael had been fooled up to now, but that last statement did not have a ring of truth.
"You guys are shitting me, aren't you?" he ventured, and they all broke out laughing. Then Jeff told him how they really met, but left out the skinny dipping and any other shenanigans.
Jeff continued, "Imagine how shocked we were when we put the pieces together and Ron discovered that I was the accountant he was supposed to call."
Michael interjected, "I'm kind of disappointed, Ron. I've been trying to get Jeff into bed with me for almost nine years and you raised my hopes with your horny tale, but it's all gone now." He put the back of his hand on his forehead in mock dismay.
"And what about how I feel?" Jerry asked. I had the hots for Jim all through college, and finally abandoned the cause. Listening to the story, I also thought that maybe my fantasies would come true. Alas it is not to be." Every body laughed, but Jim knew that Jerry really meant it.
"OK," Ron said looking at Michael. "We've worn this joke thin. I want to hear about you and Jerry."
Michael smiled at Jerry and put his hand on his. "There's not much to tell. When these two dyed in the wool straight guys came out to me, I took them to a gay bar to celebrate. Jim's college room mate, and gay guy extraordinaire, was in the bar. He spotted Jim and ran over to find out what mister straight laced was doing there. Needless to say, he was as shocked as I was." Again he smiled at Jerry. "All I can tell you is that when I shook Jerry's hand a fire went through me. My whole body was charged. I wanted us to be together so badly, my guts hurt.
"Jeff and Jim had walked to work and I had driven them to the bar. Jerry had mentioned that he had come by cab, so when it came time to drive Jim and Jeff home, I asked Jerry if I could drive him home as well. Thank God, he accepted. After we dropped the Bobbsey twins off, I asked Jerry, no make that, begged Jerry, to come home with me. Miraculously he said he wanted to.
"We had sex that night, but it was like nothing I ever experienced before. I had an awakening that night. The love making was beyond belief because it was just that, love making, not just sex. I realized that I loved Jerry. I loved him enough to stop whoring around and to ask him to be my partner. The night was full of miracles. He agreed and told me that he felt the same way."
Everyone at the table had tears in their eyes. Jerry was sobbing outright. He had never been happier in his life, and listening to Michael tell everybody how much he loved him made Jerry even happier.
The crew was so joyous, and so comfortable with each other. They were bonding into a family unit, but didn't quite realize it at that moment in time. The restaurant could have served them shit and they would have thought it was the best gourmet meal they had ever eaten. But as a matter of fact, their meal was wonderful. They all ordered steak of different varieties. Each steak was cooked to perfection according to the diner's order. They talked long into the night until the waiter delicately informed them that the restaurant was closing.
They apologized profusely and reluctantly took their leaves.
As for Brian and Tucker, they continued to use the hourly hotel when they took a long lunch hour, but on sport nights, they went to their sons' apartment. They had their own key. When the sons were home they all played together, and if the boys were out, they played alone, keeping an eye on the clock.
Although they shared themselves often enough with their partners, Tuck and Jeff could not get enough of making love to each other, and when the foursome was together, the love making was heavily skewed in favor of Tuck and Jeff.
The End
Author's Note: This is the end of the story, but I care enough for the characters not to let them go. I have already started writing the continuing story of Brian and Tucker; Jim and Jeff; Michael and Jerry; and Ron and Foster. The story is titled, "The Crew." Please look for it real soon.
