"Brandis was rushed to the nearest hospital with the director and Jared following closely behind in a Dodge Dorango The extent and seriousness of the injuries are not yet known. Channel 5 news will have further updates as they become available..."
"And cut! Alright, that's a wrap people. Jared, nice job."
"Thanks Ron."
"When are you heading back to the hospital?"
"As soon as I can get to my Dorango. Jon is getting out today."
"Excellent! Do you have a cell phone?"
Jared looked at Ron suspiciously. "I have Jon's. Why?"
"Well I received a call today from someone that was trying to reach you."
Now Jared was really suspicious. "Oh?"
"It was a representative from 'Young and Gay Magazine'. They want to talk to you about doing a photo shoot I think. Or at least an interview."
A magazine wants to talk to me? I'm a nobody, why would a magazine like that want to talk to me? "Me? Why Me?"
"Jared think about it. So far in the last 4 months, you and Jon have made a few headlines. After Leno the two of you were in every newspaper for quite a while. And you made, what, six straight covers of the Enquirer?"
"Eight actually."
"OK, eight, but who's counting right?"
"Heh." Jared turned a deep shade of red. He had been caught basking in his own limited fame.
"And with all the news coverage that the two of you received after the accident with the prop gun... well, lets just say that you've become known around Hollywood. And that means you've become known around the US."
Jared stared at Ron blankly. He hadn't really considered the implications of all the newspaper covers before. He hadn't had to give an interview. All he had to do was poke his head out through the door and he was being watched. He was actually understanding why so many celebrities hate all the media coverage.
"Besides, people know that you are doing this movie. So it'll be good coverage in case you want to do another one."
"And it'll be good coverage for this one."
"That too."
Jared sighed and looked around at the production crew that were quickly taking things apart and putting them into crates and boxes. I guess it couldn't hurt, he thought to himself. It would be a bit of money, and I could use that.
"Write down the number and I'll give them a call when I get a chance."
"When you get a chance? Jared, don't pass this up. With this movie and that photo shoot or interview or whatever, combined with all the newspapers and tabloids... Jared, this could be your big break: the chance to start your own career as an actor. Or even a modeling career!"
Jared stared at him wide-eyed.
"Well hell, you do have the body for it Jared. And you're cute enough."
Jared's eyes narrowed and he gave Ron a funny look. Ron was able to pick up on what Jared was thinking instantly.
"No, I'm not gay. But in this business, you have to be able to recognize looks and appearance at a glance. It's part of Hollywood Jared, better learn it. I have a feeling you'll have to know a lot about Tinsel Town."
Jared pulled up to the hospital and got the nearest parking space he could to an entrance. On the drive over he was debating whether or not he should call the company, or talk it over with Jon first. He decided that doing it would have an effect on both of them, so talking to Jon would be the right way to go.
Before he walked inside the hospital he turned off the cell phone. He didn't know if it made a difference or not, but he didn't want to chance a life support machine cutting out because his cell phone was ringing.
"Hi babe. Boy, you look good today."
"Thanks. Wish I could say the same for you. You look terrible."
"Well gee, thanks Jon."
"I'm sorry Jared, but you look like you've been placed in a suitcase and tossed down an elevator shaft."
Jared's head snapped back in surprise. He walked over to the mirror and looked at himself. Jon was right. He had bags under his eyes and his skin was a little pale, even with his tan.
"Whoa, I do look bad."
"That's what I just said. Have you been sleeping at all lately?"
"Hmmm, well, I leave here at 11 when visiting hours are over, I go home and grab a bite to eat, and I'm in bed by 12:30, one at the latest."
"And what time have you had to be on set over the last four days?"
"Seven."
Jon shook his head. "I was afraid of this. You aren't used to the schedule."
"Used to the schedule? It's no worse than the one I had at the furniture place. And the work there was much more strenuous that what working on the movie was. Besides, I was only supposed to do one scene with your stand-in. Then they come up with a whole slew of new ones. But I think what took the most out of me was the first day that you were here. I didn't sleep at all that night. I spent the entire night in the waiting room. I was scared Jon."
Jared's eyes began to water a little. It had been a very trying time for him when the brought Jon in by ambulance. He had no idea how Jon was doing since the doctors wouldn't tell him anything, and the media was all over him if he went outside the building. Some of them even tried to sneak inside to see what was going on!
"I know you were baby. And so was I. I was scared I was never going to be able to see you again. I was scared that I was going to be permanently disabled. I guess I was pretty lucky when you think about it."
"Heh if you call having the hammer from a handgun break two ribs and collapse a lung lucky, then yeah, I guess you were."
"Well hey, at least they're letting me go in an hour and not closing the lid." Jon laughed lightly.
"Don't even joke about that Jon. Please?"
Jon looked up at Jared and noticed that he had turned even paler. "I'm sorry baby. I didn't mean to say that. It just makes this easier to deal with."
"OK, but I'm here for you, with you, so it'll be even easier to deal with."
"With you, everything is easier for me."
Jared smiled. He walked over to Jon's bed and put an arm around his shoulder, being careful not to reach too far onto his other side. Jon leaned forward a little and placed his lips to Jared's. The kiss lasted for at least five minutes before Jon had to pull back for air.
"Wow, that was... hot!"
"Oh yeah," replied Jared.
Jon lifted the sheet and looked in under. Jared peaked in as well and saw Jon's other head tenting the hospital gown. They looked at each other and at the same time said, "As soon as we get home!"
"This really is a nice vehicle you bought Jared."
"Yeah, I love this thing."
Jared and Jon were on their way home. They had to stop into a drug store to get Jon's medication first which ended up taking them all over the city. Now they were stuck in traffic and the radio station's traffic report said they could be there for quite a while.
Suddenly Jared remembered that he had the cell phone turned off. He reached into his pocket and pulled it out. A piece of paper fell out and landed on the seat by his leg. Jon picked it up and looked at it.
"Y.A.G. 555-6942. What's that?"
Jared placed the phone back in his pocket. "Oh, shit I forgot to tell you about that. Ron told me just before I left that he had gotten a call for me from 'Young and Gay Magazine'."
"'Young and Gay'. I've never heard of it."
"Me either."
"So what did they want?"
"I haven't called them back yet, but Ron said something about them wanting me to do a photo shoot or interview or something."
"Cool! You going to do it?"
"I don't know. I thought I'd talk to you about it first."
"Well I say go for it. I mean, everyone knows we're gay, so it won't be a big shocker. It'll put a bit of money in your pocket, and it will help you if you want to start a career as an actor or a model."
Jared looked directly ahead and blinked a few times. He looked back at Jon with a puzzled look on his face.
"Um, what?"
"Have you been talking to Ron?"
"No, why?"
"Because that's almost exactly what he said to me."
"Wow. Weird."
"Yeah."
"Well, you wanted to talk to me about it, and I just think that you should go ahead and give them a call. Talking to someone on the phone can't hurt can it?"
"No, I guess not."
"Right. So go ahead and call them."
"I will. Later."
"Later! Jared don't put this off too long. They might say fuck it and go with someone else."
"Hmmm. Yeah, but I still think I'm going to wait till we get home. Right now I just want to sit here and enjoy this lovely traffic jam with you. I haven't been able to spend any quiet time with you for almost a week without some nurse or doctor or damned piece of beeping equipment getting in the way."
Jon smiled at him. "I love it when you do things like that. You really know how to make me feel special."
"Huh? How, by saying I wanted to spend quiet time with you?"
"Yeah that, and by putting off calling the magazine because you'd rather just be here with me than pursue a career. It makes me feel that much more important."
"You are important to me Jon. You are the most important thing in my life."
Jon blushed and leaned across the seat. Jared met him half way and they locked lips. Jon opened his mouth and Jared instinctively probed forward with his tongue. As they got more into the kiss, Jon reached down and placed his hand over Jared's crotch. He started to massage and squeeze it, feeling the stiffening of what was contained below Jared's Tommy's. Jared's hand hit the button for the horn on the wheel and they both jumped.
"Excited are we?"
Jon looked down then gave Jon an evil grin.
"OH YEAH!"
Jon laughed and squeezed Jared's crotch again making Jared moan and draw in a quick breath. "I wish I could help you babe, but I can't bend over that far with my ribs the way they are. Besides that, I don't think I could keep my lips locked around something that big for very long before needing air."
"That's OK. I can wait till we get home. Then I'll show you just how well I can treat someone with an injury. I'm going to make you cum so hard and so long you'll still be in orgasm tomorrow this time."
Jon coughed slightly and shifted in the seat. "Now I'm getting excited."
"What am I going to do with you?"
"Take me home and fuck me silly?"
Jared looked at the expression on Jon's face and burst out laughing. Jon watched for a while, trying to keep from laughing as well, but to no avail. He was soon laughing along with his boyfriend.
"I like that idea," Jared was finally able to say. "Unfortunately, I don't see us getting there anytime soon and that seven and a half inch tool isn't showing any signs of getting any smaller."
Jon turned to face Jared as much as he could. He spread his legs as much as the leg space would allow. "True. What do you propose to do about that?"
"Just this." Jared set the Dorango in neutral since they were on a flat area and unbuckled his seatbelt. He leaned forward and undid the button of Jon's pants. He ripped the zipper open and pulled his hard cock out through the fly of his boxers. The head was almost completely coated with precum and Jon's foreskin had worked its own way back. Jared licked his lips and looked up at Jon. All he could see was the need in his eyes. Jared nodded and went to work.
"Oooohhh, thank god for tinted windows!"
Jared moved up and down over Jon's hard shaft, sucking as hard as he could and as fast as he could (didn't want to get caught doing this by a traffic cop, or anyone else for that matter). He used his tongue to lick at the underside of Jon's mushroom head, then on the upstroke he would tongue the slit, making Jon shiver each time.
"Oh god! Jared I, ooh. I don't know what you're doing but - fuck I'm going to cum FAST!"
Jared pulled back so that only the head of Jon's penis was in his mouth. He was quickly rewarded with the warm, quick shots of cum from deep within Jon's balls. He counted each shot as he tried to swallow it all, but after the fifth one, he wasn't able to keep up anymore. Cum started to seep from between his lips and dribble down his chin.
After licking Jon's softening member completely clean, he sat back up in his seat and moved the Dorango ahead the extra two feet. Jon reached over and wiped his cum from Jared's chin and licked it from his finger.
"That was a fast one."
"I got excited. First time I've ever done that in traffic. Besides, it's been a week now. I'm surprised I didn't explode."
"Ha! I think you just did."
Jared opened the door for Jon and followed behind him into the house. After traffic finally got moving, it didn't take them long to get home. Jon kept telling Jared he should call the magazine as soon as possible, and Jared kept telling Jon he would do it when they got home. Jared preferred a place where he was comfortable when he did any negotiating or talking or this type.
"OK, we're home now, so call!"
"Calm down Jon. I will. At least give me a chance to take off my jacket."
Jared took off his jacket and sat on the closest of the two baby blue sofas that were in the living room. Jon slowly sat down beside him and handed him the cordless phone.
"Call. Please? For me?"
Jared chuckled. "OK, for you."
He took the piece of paper with the number on it out of the pocket of his jacket that was on the arm of the sofa. He picked up the phone and turned it on to listen for a dial tone. He didn't hear one, only a bit of background noise.
"Uh, hello?"
"Hi! I'm calling from Y.A.G. Magazine." It was a male voice that sounded like it was coming from a young man.
"Ah yes, I was about to call you actually."
"So you must be Jared then?"
"You guessed it. How did you get this number?"
"Um, the director of your movie gave it to me when I told him you hadn't contacted me. I hope you don't mind."
Jared told him he didn't, yet in the back of his mind he made a note to talk to Ron the next time he saw him. Jon sat beside Jared looking on with wide eyes.
"This is a new magazine just starting up. Y.A.G., or Young And Gay, is aimed at a more teenage market, hoping to help teenagers understand themselves. For our first issue, we were hoping to do a feature on you and Jonathan, but mostly you."
"Why me? Jon is much more recognized than I am." At the mention of his name, Jon moved closer to Jared, trying to get his ear next to the phone.
"Actually that's the reason we're not focusing on him. Because he's a celebrity, his story won't hold as much weight."
"What?"
"Well, to be blunt, Celebrity stories are usually just seen as being melodrama to make them look good. People see ego over actuality. Not the celebrity's fault, it's more a short coming of society."
"I see. Exactly what would you want from us?" Jared wasn't going to continue the conversation without including Jon in anything that happened.
"From the two of you, we'd like a couple of pictures. Mostly the two of you together, arms around each other and sitting on a love seat and such. We'd like to ask Jon a few questions, mainly about you and how he met you and such. Then we want to do to a full out interview with you about your life... we'd only get as detailed as you'd let us, but we'd hope that you'll keep the focus and purpose of the magazine in mind."
"Uh huh."
"I guess maybe I should give you some time to think about it all. I'd like your answer soon though, tomorrow at the latest if possible. If you decide to say no, we will have to talk to other people."
"No problem. You'll have my answer by tomorrow."
"OK, thank you."
"No prob. Bye."
Jared hung up the phone and noticed Jon sat there looking at him.
"You're not going to do it are you?'
"How do you know that?"
"I can tell by the look on your face."
"I don't like the idea of being the center of attention. I'm not used to it. They should be interviewing you."
"You heard what he said Jared."
"About the ego thing?"
"Yeah. Unfortunately it's true. A lot of people see actors as being mostly ego and drama, saying whatever just for attention. As for being the center of attention... when the movie comes out, you'll probably have just as much attention as me, maybe more. It's a bit late to worry about that now, don't you think? And if you want a career in Hollywood or no the runway - "
"Why does everyone keep telling me I should be a model?"
"Jared... you've got the body and the looks for it. Modeling agencies would snap you up in a second."
Jared sighed. "I guess. I know what you're saying is true. But, it will take time to get used to it."
"And what better way to start then by doing something to help other people? Especially young people, you know yourself how hard you had it. Wouldn't it be nice to help a young boy or girl so that they don't have to go through all that?"
Jared looked at Jon and smiled. "You know me way too well. I just can't say no to you."
"So you'll do it?!" Jon started to bounce a little on the sofa, getting excited at the idea.
"Fuck it, why not?"
"Excellent! I guarantee you'll enjoy it."
"We'll enjoy it, you're coming too."
"Even better!"

Everyone that hurt me's going to pay;
How could such a short time feel so long;
How could such a young life go so wrong;"

I say the world's already fucked, and I'm just adding to it.
They say I'm suicidal, teenager's newest idol;
