Bite Down 6
Chapter 6: In Sheep's Clothing
My body is dripping with sweat. It must be the wolf in me because I’m able to keep up with Walid. He mounts me. We started on the bed but now we are on the floor. I’m pulling at the sheets.
Walid’s room looks like a tornado has run through it. His bed sheets are ripped and spread across the room. His mattress is no longer on his bed but somehow managed to be flung across the room. Cum stains stain the rugs underneath us.
Then there are the claws on my back. Walid’s finger nails scratched up my back during sex. I’m bleeding but somehow…it doesn’t turn me off. Somehow it turns me on.
“More…deeper…harder!” I’m telling him.
He thrusts one last final time delivering his nut deep into me, “UGHHHHHHHH.”
His moan is deep and exploding. I’m hoping Evan isn’t in the cabin because if he is he definitely would have heard Evan. Evan’s nut is thick and deep almost as though he hadn’t orgasmed 10 times already. He quickly removes himself from me.
“Holy shit…”
I’m struggling to catch my breath.
“Let’s go again,” he tells me pulling me back as I slide away from him.
“No…I told you not to nut in me.”
“Why not?”
“Um because I don’t want to catch an STD,” I reply shaking my head, “Please don’t pretend like we aren’t roommates and I don’t see all those girls coming in and out of your room. Didn’t you fuck BOTH Naomi and Amina?
“India too.”
I shake my head and sigh. I can’t believe I’m just a number on Walid’s body list.
“Exactly. No thank you.”
“Relax. You’re a werewolf. You are immune to all human illnesses. Werewolves don’t get sick. You might die from old age or catch rabies. Yeah. Rabies is a bitch,” Walid explains to me.
Walid tries to grab me again. He tries to pin me down but somehow I manage to slide away him. It might be because both our bodies are covered with sweat, blood and semen. I slip through his hands and end up on the other side of the room.
“That’s not the point,” I tell him, “I just can’t do…this anymore…
“Do what?”
“Sex.”
“Just a few minutes you were begging me to go deeper,” He says.
Walid holds tight to his dick. He squeezes it. He’s still semi-hard and he’s squeezing out the remaining semen from his dick. He scoops it up and licks it, tasting it. It’s the first time I notice how long Walid’s tongue is. It’s inhumanly long. He must know how sexy he looks when he does that because he stares down at my dick just in time to see it twitch with excitement.
Luckily I didn’t always think with my dick.
“It can’t happen again,” I reply looking for my clothes, “I’m a prisoner in Vanderbilt. That doesn’t mean I’m a sex slave too…”
I start searching for my clothing. Walid stands up. He flexes his muscles His nudity is something to aspire to. His muscles flex like he’s trying to show just how powerful he is compared to me. He’s right. He can physically pull me down and rape me if he wanted to There’s nothing I would be able to do to stop him. For some reason I know he won’t but he still seems to flex as though letting me know that would be an option.
He’s such an…animal…
He raises his hands all of a sudden and his eyes seem to soften in a way I don’t expect when he see me grab my first article of clothing.
“You aren’t my sex slave. Listen,” he says shaking his head, “You aren’t even a prisoner.”
“But I can’t leave Vanderbilt.”
Walid shakes his head, “No.”
I shake my head. Regardless of how attractive Walid is he still was holding me against my will. My brother and cousin were dead because of Vanderbilt. I knew this place wasn’t safe.
“That’s considered a prisoner.”
“Once my pack catches the stray, you are free to go,” Walid replies.
“You promise?”
“I don’t repeat myself Nasir,” Walid tells me, “I like you. For whatever reason. I’m more tolerant of you than I’ve been with anyone…ever. Look at me though. What do you see? Regardless of how tender a wolf can get…he’s still a wolf. Don’t test my patience…”
I hear the threat loud and clear. I nod and gather my clothes and walk out of his room. If Walid considers the way he treats me tender I’d hate to see his viewpoint of being rough.
The next week I finally return to class. It’s hard. Evan doesn’t leave his room at all except to go to class. Even when he leaves for class he just comes back and goes straight to his room. He doesn’t want to really talk or be bothered with me. He just sits around and cries all day about India. I try to knock on his room door every morning and afternoon that next week but he is withdrawn into himself.
I avoid Walid for the most part. A part of me wonders if I should just take the chance and try to hitch a ride away from the mountain but I don’t. Maybe it’s fear. Maybe it’s this attraction that I have to Walid. I can’t explain it. Am I afraid of him or am I attracted to him? Was it possible to be both at the same exact time?
It’s Friday before I know it and I’m headed to Survival 101. I’m nervous to see Professor Timus. It’d be the first time I’d seen any the wolves since my night with Walid.
As I get to the usual meeting spot for the class in the woods, no other students are there.
“Am I early?” I ask the professor.
He looks at me. Today he looks extra burly. I didn’t know his this thick man beard could have gotten any more extraordinary but it does. He plays with it as I approach stroking it a few times.
He grunts like I’ve seen him do before.
“Cancelled it.”
“I didn’t get an email,” I tell him.
“I cancelled it for everyone but you,” he tells me.
He gives me a hard stare. I don’t trust him. I don’t trust any of these werewolves. Even if it was the black wolf that killed me the rest of them weren’t some domestic puppies. That was for sure. I notice the professor taking out his contacts now. It’s almost like he becomes his self as he looks back at me with eyes as orange as a jack o’ lantern.
“Walid put you up to this?”
He nods, “The alpha wanted me to meet with you. He’s concerned. To be honest with you everyone in the pack is wondering why he’s decided to keep you alive. You’re a stray…”
“That seems to be the popular sentiment.”
The professor shrugs, “Not that I’d prefer you not be alive. It’s fine with me. I was good friends with India. Also knew your brother.”
I was annoyed. My brother got everything before me and he just so happened to even be a werewolf before me. I could only imagine by the tone of the professor’s voice that he respected my brother. There wasn’t any grunt. He didn’t have that disappointed look like when he looked at me.
“Expected Qadir’s brother to be more masculine huh? More of a man. Sorry to disappoint you sir. I switch when I fuckin’ walk.”
The professor grunts, “I’ve noticed. There’s still a wolf in you, regardless of what’s on the outside. C`mon. Run with me. Walid thinks that’ll help you get over India.”
“Jogging is not going to help me get over my cousin being murdered.”
“Who said anything about jogging?” the professor asks, “I want to run…with the wolf.”
“I never learned how to be a wolf,” I reply.
“You don’t need to learn how to be the wolf,” The professor responds, “Did you learn how to be a human? It’s natural. Just become yourself. It’s already in you.”
The professor sparks my interest. I can’t lie. He’s right though. There is something in me. I imagine it’s the feeling a pregnant woman has. The idea of another life being nestled within her. There was this feeling that I wasn’t alone. There was another soul in my body just waiting to come out. Just waiting to be born.
And I heard it. I hear the growl.
“It’s not working…” I say.
“Relax,” he responds, “Abandon Nasir. Let the wolf take over. It will do the rest for you…”
I relax. It’s the same feeling as if I was letting sleep take over me. All of a sudden my mind goes black and I’m feeling the wolf come over me. It’s forceful but gentle at the same time. My body is changing. It doesn’t hurt but it shocks me a little bit. I scream a little because I know my bones are cracking. I now my body is changing. I know I am transforming into something else.
The screaming slowly becomes more of a whimper. I feel stronger but I’m not standing on two legs now. I’m standing on four. My mouth isn’t a mouth any longer. It’s a muzzle. It happened in a matter of a minute.
It’s easier than last time.
But I look down at my paws to notice the black and white fur. Black in some places and white in others. I feel so powerful in this skin. I’m big…huge. Bigger than any normal wolf could possibly get.
There is another wolf next to me. The chocolate wolf that I remember has to be Professor Timus. He glares at me. His orange eyes look into mine. He’s just as big as me. His hairs are longer and his chocolate coat seemed to be piled high so thick that it almost swallows him.
The chocolate wolf begins to run and I follow behind him.
I’m fast. Faster than some cars. I feel like I have to be running at least 70 miles per hour through the dense forest. At first I don’t know how I’m able to dodge the trees in the way that I’m dodging them but I manage to do it.
The trees brush past me. The air spirals against my fur.
I’m alive. I’m more alive than I’ve ever felt.
Unlike Nadir the wolf isn’t afraid of anything. Soon I’m outrunning the chocolate wolf. I’m leading the run through the woods. We scale the side of the mountain jumping from logs and huge boulders as though its nothing at all. If there is any pain when I land I feel too much thrill to feel anything. I am going so fast that the world seems to losing me.
I almost forget what I’m doing until I hear a howl. It’s a strong thick howl and I realize I’m being called. I’m not sure where it’s coming from but I notice the chocolate wolf is closer to me than I thought. He responds to the howl with a howl of his own.
The chocolate wolf looks at me and we exchange a glance.
Then all of a sudden I’m following behind the chocolate wolf! I’m running as fast as I can. I run until we get to a hot spring in the middle of the mountain. The cold snow crunches underneath my feet but becomes slush as we approach the hot sprint. Above the hot spring is a stream.
“Beautiful isn’t it?” a voice says.
The voice is directed right into my mind. I hear it in my head almost as though I’m imagining it. But I’m not imagining it. I turn to see a third wolf. All of a sudden the voice is familiar.
Walid, the white wolf is here.
The chocolate wolf keeps a distance from us. He doesn’t approach the hot spring with Walid and I. He sits on a log perched and staring off in the distance s though not slightly interested in our little meeting.
“We can hear one another,” I tell Walid.
“It’s how we communicate.”
“Where are we?”
“It’s my private spring. My secret spot. You follow the hot stream in you’ll get to a den. If you ever want to have some alone time as a wolf come to this den. It’s deep, quiet, damp and cool. Your wolf will love it,” Walid tells me.
“You probably bring all your hoes here,” I tell Walid.
Walid wags his tail and pants a little bit. I’m wondering if this is the wolf’s way of laughing. I’m not completely sure. The white wolf is bigger than both me and the chocolate wolf. It approaches me. It approaches me in the confident way that Walid would have approached me in his human form. Walid, the wolf nuzzles against my fur. He strokes my muzzle with his own. He’s gentle and rough at the same time.
The larger white wolf hangs his head over me, “I prefer to be here alone…but I don’t mind sharing it with you.”
The chocolate wolf in the distance grunts a little bit. I could only imagine what Professor Timus is thinking.
I would almost think it’s romantic with the hot spring not too far from us.
Almost romantic.
“We should fuck as wolves,” Walid says.
He really just ruined the moment. I would have rolled my eyes but something caught my attention. A smell. A smell that made me slightly…hungry.
“Humans are coming,” The chocolate wolf tells Walid and I.
I can hear in the distance brustling of leaves. A deer runs past quickly. It’s being chased by something. My wolf eyes see it clearly. I hear the sounds of feet after the wolf. There have to be 15 to 20 people chasing the deer. Humans. They are slow, clearly being out run by the animal.
“Hunting class…” Walid says.
Gun shots break out through the woods. The smell of blood fills my wolf nostrils. I feel a rush in me. Blood. It smells so good.
The wolf inside me wants is hungry. An animal instinct comes over me. I find myself stepping forward, my gigantic paws clearing the snow ready to make a run towards the dead deer.
Before I pounds the white wolf is in front of me. It blocks my path.
“Run…the other way…” he tells me, “GO! NOW!”
The chocolate wolf is the first to leave. It clears the path. I run behind him and all of a sudden I hear screams. We are spotted.
All of a sudden gun shots rain past my head.
I’m being shot at by the hunting class!
I run faster and faster after Professor Timus. My heart is racing as I jerk the large bodies through the trees. I look back. Where is Walid? Why am I worried about him?
I find myself stopping and looking back.
“Walid!”
No answer.
I have to go back! I have to. I don’t know what comes over me. I find myself running back towards the gun shots towards where I saw Walid last. What if they got him? What if they shot him?
I see the hunters again. They are in my view.
Suddenly another shot flies through the air. This one hits me. I growl in pain as the gun shot hits me in the leg.
“What the hell are you doing! I said to run,” Walid’s voice returns.
I turn to see him He’s on the rocks above me. He leaps down from the rocks. I attempt to run. I’m going much slower than I was before though. The gun shots are still behind me but even running slow I’m much too fast for the humans.
“Evan? Evan are you here?”
No answer.
“I think he has class,” I reply to Walid before remembering Evan’s schedule, “I think it was hunting class… actually.”
Walid pulls me into the room. We are both naked We are both back in our human forms. Somehow we managed to escape the hunters. Unfortunately I can’t say I’ve escaped unscathed. My body slowly pushes the bullet out of me…by itself. I’m shocked by it. I am still bleeding though, even as my body pushes the bullet completely out of me and it hits the floors of the cabin.
Professor Timus is standing at the door. He crosses his arms and looks down at me. Walid places me on the floor of the common room in our cabin. He does the weirdest thing. Walid starts to lick at my wound, licking up the blood almost like an animal would. I wonder if he forgets that he’s not in his wolf form and we are two humans actually.
I’m shocked that the licking actually makes me feel better.
“That was careless,” Walid told me, “Why did you turn back for me?”
“I thought they got you.”
“And if they did how the hell were you going to help a wolf the size of the Alpha?” Professor Timus adds before grunting a, “Little pup.”
Walid looks over at the professor, “Timus you can leave now.”
Timus grunts again, “Can I borrow some clothes? I am naked…”
“Then I guess you want to make sure no one sees a naked college professor running around campus huh?” Walid responds.
The professor doesn’t stick around to argue. He doesn’t even give him a resistant look like Fang would have. The professor just turns and looks at me as though a little annoyed---by me! Then he turns and leaves.
Walid walks to the door and locks the cabin door behind him.
“I don’t think your pack likes me very much,” I respond.
Walid shakes his head, “You’re an outsider. You weren’t bit by me like the rest of them were. They…don’t trust you. They think your loyalty lies with the stray…”
“I don’t even know who the stray is,” I reply.
He nods, “I believe you. And I appreciate it.”
“Appreciate what?”
“You turning back for me,” Walid says before crossing his arms, “It was stupid. It was incredibly stupid but it was brave. You’ll heal. It takes a lot more than one bullet to kill a werewolf. Go lay down. Rest a little…”
I look over Walid.
He is standing there naked and strong but there is a softness in his eyes. There is a gentleness I’ve never seen before. His voice is so soft almost like he’s talking to a child and trying to comfort the child. I can still feel how good it felt when he licked my wound.
“Where are going?”
“Hunt.”
“You going to kill those humans that shot at us?”
Walid raises an eyebrow, “Relax. I don’t kill humans unless I have to. That deer just got me hungry though.”
“Why can’t you stay with me? Sleep with me for a while.”
Walid looks down at me. His nude body casts a huge shadow over the room dominating me. For a moment I think he’s going to do it. He even takes a few steps forward. I can only imagine wrapping myself in this huge muscles. I can imagine the warmth of having him all around me.
I welcome it.
But all of a sudden he stops.
“I don’t fall asleep with people,” Walid replies all of a sudden, “I don’t do the romance bullshit.”
With that he turns and walks into the wintry cold…naked.
I sit there looking feeling sorry for myself. It’s not the bullet that makes me feel sorry for myself. No. It’s the fact that I turned back for Walid. It’s the fact that I am thinking about Walid all the fucking time. He’s rude. He’s harsh. He’s unyielding but all those things that I should hate about Walid just seem to turn me on even more.
He leaves the door open and I’m sitting in the living room hoping he’ll come back. That’s when I hear it. The sound of a dog. No. The sound of a wolf.
I can smell the wolf behind the door.
“You came back…” I tell Walid.
Only it’s not Walid. The door opens at that moment and something else walks through the door. The only wolf that seems almost as big as Walid. It bears it’s teeth in aggression. My heart stops beating. Fear comes all over me as I remember what happened to India. I remember what happened to my cousin and I remember who did it.
But it’s not Walid’s white wolf.
It’s the black wolf.
It’s the stray!
