Lucy

Sunday, the boys spent the afternoon with me and took me to dinner at the Commons to make up for my not going to the dance

"So how was your first date, boys? You've been fucking for nearly four months and have been through hell, so was it worth it?"

"It was good, Lucy. Some guys were a little too familiar, but we had fun. And the music was great, though a little loud."

"The music was fantastic, Luce, and just the right volume."

"Other than that, did you make any new friends? Did you meet any other guys?"

"We met a lot of guys to talk to for a minute, but who can remember all of their names. I guess we'll have to go to one of their meeting to really get to know them."

"I think we made an enemy of Reggie, Billy."

"Maybe, but not necessarily. Maybe he was just checking out the territory."

They explained the encounter with Reggie. He sounded like so many guys I had gone out with. Straight or gay, there are a lot of guys who think they are hot shit out there. And who don't seem to realize that no one else does.

Danny

This semester seemed to start out well, considering. Things at the dorm were a little tense, but under control. Our displays of affection were getting more and more negative reaction, But it was just words. I liked every one of my classes, every one of my professors. Billy seemed to be doing well, too. We had been able to buy all of our books and we had our modeling schedules set up. We were on a roll.

Yesterday, I had my second Economics lecture with Dr. Morrow. She's so clear and makes so much sense, not like Dr. Grunwald last semester. What made it even better was knowing that Billy was modeling over at Ballantine Hall, about a hundred yards away and that we would be together for the rest of the afternoon once the class was over.

When the lecture was over, I got up, grabbed my books, and like the klutz I can be, dropped them all over the floor. I got them all together, finally, and headed for the door, thinking of Billy. The lecture hall is behind Milledoler hall, an administration building, and, while on the first floor of the building it is actually up quite high due to a slope in the ground. So there is this long metal staircase leading from the sidewalk up to the lecture hall. I walked out the door, as usual, not paying any attention to those around me, just looking for Billy. As I reached the top of the staircase, I saw him coming toward me across the parking lot with a black girl, not looking very happy. We caught each other's eyes and waved.

Then three things happened at once. On the top step, a foot got tangled between my feet. I heard, loudly whispered, the words, " Die, nigger loving queer." And I felt a hand in the middle of my back, pushing me hard.

I flew forward into the air. I hit the one landing in the middle of the staircase hard, and felt excruciating pain in my left wrist. Then I continued to tumble, bumping against classmates as I fell toward the asphalt sidewalk.

Billy

This sister from Livingston College in the class I model for is a real pain. Right from the beginning of class last week, she couldn't take her eyes off of me. I try not to make eye contact with the students, trying to remain as detached as possible, just an object for them to draw. But a couple of times our eyes met and she gave me a big smile. Once she winked. Last week, after class, she was practically glued to me.

"Hi. My name is Sheila. I'm a freshman at Livingston, but when I heard they had a black model here I registered for this course. You have a really fine body."

"Well, so do you. My name's William, but I prefer not to get to know the students in the classes I model for. It's easier when we are just artist and model."

"Oh, go on. Having a friend in the class shouldn't be a problem for someone as manly as you."

"I'm sorry, I've got to meet someone in a couple of minutes. It was nice to meet you."

So this week, I was determined to get out of the studio a few minutes early. The modeling usually ends ten minutes before the class ends, which gives me time to dress and gives the students time to put some finishing touches on their sketches. I dressed as fast as I could and slipped out of the studio. She was right behind me.

"William, what's the rush? I was hoping we could go over to the student center and hang out for a while, get to know one another."

"Sorry, but I'm meeting my roommate."

She never took her adoring eyes off me as we crossed the parking lot. I, on the other hand, was staring up at the door to the lecture hall behind Milledoler Hall, watching the kids streaming out, looking for my beautiful Billy. Maybe I should give him a big kiss. Maybe that will get it through to Sheila that I'm not interested.

He came out of the door toward the end of the crowd, the sun shining off his blonde hair, looking like an angel. I caught his eye and we waved to each other. Then, for no apparent reason, he flew headfirst into the air, down the steps. He bounced off the landing and continued his fall. I lost sight of him in the crowd of students near the bottom of the stairs.

"Oh, shit!"

I ran the rest of the way across the parking lot and roughly pushed my way through a crowd that had gathered around him. He was lying there on the asphalt, eyes closed. Just above his right temple, his blonde hair was turning bright red. A woman about 40 was very gently parting his blood soaked hair, exposing a nasty looking gash in his scalp. I knelt down next to him and grabbed his right hand.

"Danny, it's Billy. I'm here. Are you okay?"

The woman spoke up.

"He's unconscious. I sent a student to the office to call for an ambulance. You obviously know him."

"Yeah, he's my roommate, Danny Stephens. Do you think he's going to be all right?"

"Unfortunately, my doctorate is in Economics, not Medicine. Falls that cause cuts like that may also cause concussions. The ambulance should be here in a minute. Middlesex General is only a few blocks away. I'm Barbara Morrow, by the way."

"Nice to meet you, ma'am. Danny told me how much he likes your course."

Just then I heard the siren. The ambulance screeched into the parking lot and the two attendants ran over. One checked out his cut while the other lifted his eyelids and looked at his eyes.

"Better get him to the ER fast. Head wounds can be tricky, and he's losing a lot of blood."

"William, what's going on? Whoever he is, they're taking care of him. Let's go have some fun."

Fuck! Sheila caught up with me.

"Just leave me alone, Sheila. He's my roommate Danny. I've got to take care of him."

"He's a white boy, honey. He'll get all the care he needs without you. Why would you rather be with him than me?"

"Just get out of my way, bitch."

The attendants had quickly moved Danny onto a stretcher and slid it into the back of the ambulance. They were about to close the doors when I started to climb in. One of them pulled me back.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"With him."

"Sorry, only family is allowed. You'd just be in the way."

I looked him in the eye, giving him my fiercest look.

"He's my brother. And I won't be in the way."

He hesitated then gave in.

"All right, we don't have time to argue."

As I climbed into the ambulance, Dr. Morrow pressed her card into my hand.

"Call me as soon as you know anything."

She was right. The hospital was close. We carefully ran two red lights and were there in three minutes. I jumped out of the way as they pulled the stretcher out and unfolded the legs. I ran behind them into the Emergency Room. One called out, as soon as we were inside.

"Head wound, unconscious, bleeding."

People came running from everywhere and they pushed him into a cubicle and moved him off the stretcher onto something more like a table. I followed right along. One doctor (I guess) checked out his cut. Another again lifted his eyelids and shined a small flashlight into his eyes.

"Definite concussion; can't be sure how bad. Has he been unconscious throughout?"

I realized he was talking to me.

"Yeah, he's been out since he fell."

"The first thing we've got to do is suture the wound and stop the bleeding. Who are you, anyway?"

"I'm his roommate, his friend. We take care of each other."

"I'm sorry, buddy, but only relatives are allowed in here. You'll have to wait outside. Maybe you can help with the paperwork at the desk"

"I'm not leaving him until I know he's okay."

"Yes you are, even if I have to get a team down here from Security. Go to the waiting room or go help them with the forms at the desk."

Shit. I took one last look at my boy and walked out to the desk. They asked the usual questions, name, address, date of birth, next of kin.

"Me."

The middle aged black nurse did a double take and said, "You're the next of kin?"

"We've only got each other."

"What about his parents? How do we get in touch with them?"

"Is he dying?"

"No, of course not."

"Then you don't have to get in touch with them. You've got all the info you need."

"Boy, if I was your mother, I'd whoop your butt for that attitude."

"And you'd be sorry you did."

Just then the doctor came up and asked, "Excuse me, is your name Billy?"

"Yes, is he awake?"

"Barely, but he keeps asking for you. Could you come back in, please?"

I rushed through the curtains to Danny's side. His eyes opened a bit, showing lots of pain. They had sewn up the cut on his scalp. I knew from my experience over Christmas that they used a local anesthetic for that, so that couldn't be what was hurting.

"I'm here for you, Danny. What is it? Where do you hurt?"

"My left wrist is killing me. I can't believe how much it hurts. And I've got a real bad headache."

"The headache is because you've got a little concussion, but the doctors will check out your wrist."

I just glared at the doctor, not wanting to curse him out in front of Danny for not checking him out completely.

"Okay, we were just taking him to Radiology for a skull x-ray. We'll do the left wrist as well."

"Can I go with him?"

"Only as far as the department. You can't go into the room with him. And you should know that we're going to keep him overnight. We take head wounds very seriously. And he does have a concussion, though it may be a minor one. "

Once they wheeled him into the x-ray room, I felt scared and lost. They had been very reassuring, but the way he looked, the pain he was in, his having to stay overnight. I was freaking out, but knew I had to keep it together for Danny. A doctor came out to talk to me.

"Good news and bad news. The good news is that he doesn't have a skull fracture. Apparently he has a very hard head. The bad news is that he does have a Colles fracture. That's a fracture of the radius, the smaller forearm bone, very near the wrist. Sometimes we just use a splint, but I'm inclined to go with a forearm cast in this instance. He'll have to have it on for about six weeks. Do you know if he's right-handed or left-handed?"

"Right, so I guess that helps. The other doctor said he had to stay overnight. Can I stay with him?"

"Sorry, only parents and spouses are allowed to stay with patients, and then only in exceptional situations. He's been taken to the fracture room to have his arm fixed and the cast put on. I checked and he's been admitted to room 312. You might want to get something to eat and then go up there and wait for him, if he's not already there. Visiting hours end at 8:00 PM."

"Thanks. He's gonna be okay, isn't he?"

"In my opinion, he's going to be just fine. He'll have some pain in the next few days and he needs some rest, but he'll be fine."

I went down to the coffee shop off the lobby, which was really just a wall of vending machines and realized I had no appetite. I got a Coke. After a few sips, I thought of Lucy. I took the Coke out to a pay phone and called her dorm.

"Hey, Luce, it's Billy."

"Billy, you sound like you've been crying. Are you okay?"

"Well, I haven't been crying, not much anyway, but I'm not okay. Don't panic, but Danny had an accident this afternoon. We're at Middlesex General. He's gonna be okay, but he has to spend the night. He fell down some stairs and cut his head, got a concussion and broke his wrist."

"Oh God! All that and you say he's okay?"

"He's not okay, but he's gonna be. I'm in the coffee shop while they fix his wrist, then I'll go up to his room, room 312. Can you come over? I know he'd love to see you. And I would, too."

"I'll be there in 15 minutes."

I hung up he phone and felt Dr. Morrow's card in my pocket. Oh, shit, I hadn't called her and it was after 6. I gave it a try.

"Economics, Dr. Morrow speaking."

"Dr. Morrow, this is Billy Matthews, Dan Stephens' roommate. I'm really sorry to take so long to get back to you, but we're still at the hospital."

"That's okay. I've been waiting for you to call, but there's always work to do. How is Dan?"

"Not good, not bad. He's conscious, but in pain. He has a mild concussion, so they are going to keep him overnight. He also has a broken wrist. They're working on that right now. I want to thank you for taking charge and getting him help."

"There's nothing to thank me for. I was there when it happened. I was the authority figure, so I was able to get things taken care of. Please keep me apprised of his condition."

"I will, and thanks again."

Lucy

I sped across town and ran into the hospital, across the lobby and into the coffee shop. No Billy. Back out to the reception desk.

"I'm here to see Daniel Stephens in room 312."

The receptionist fumbled through her files.

"Sorry, nothing here. No one by that name in that room."

"He was just admitted through the emergency room this afternoon. I was told he was going to be in 312.

"Okay, the elevators are down the hall."

I ran down the hall and punched the button for the elevator. Once on the third floor, I followed the signs for 312. I walked in and found it empty, except for Billy in a chair in the corner. He had obviously been crying. He got up and hugged me and began crying again.

"Damn it, Lucy, I can't handle Danny being hurt. I know I hurt him really bad last month when I wasn't myself, but this was horrible.'

"What happened? You didn't give me any details."

He went through the story, of his crossing the parking lot with this girl Sheila, then seeing Danny fly down the stairs.

Just then, an orderly pushed Danny into the room in a wheelchair. He carefully pulled up next to the bed, locked the wheels in place and helped Danny up and into the bed. As he turned his back to us I realized Danny was wearing one of those hospital gowns with two ties and lots of fresh air in the back. Damn, he's got a cute butt. Just one of the thousand reasons Billy loves, him I'm sure. Once he was settled in bed, the orderly left.

"Hey baby, how are you feeling?"

"Pretty lousy. They gave me something for the pain, but it makes me feel like shit. Thank you for taking care of everything. You were great. Lucy, I didn't expect to see you here."

"Billy called and told me what happened. I came right over."

"Well, thanks. Just seeing your faces makes me feel better, and less scared."

"Scared? What do you mean, white boy?"

"I was pushed, Billy. I don't know if it was one or two guys. Somebody tripped me and somebody pushed me from behind."

"Danny, don't get paranoid. It might have been an accident. People trip and get shoved in crowds all the time."

"Yeah, Lucy. And do they also hear the words, 'Die, nigger loving queer" whispered in their ear at the same time?"

"Shit, Danny. Someone tried to kill you. Do you have any idea who was around you?"

"No. Nobody that I knew. Nobody that even looked familiar. I was looking out at you in the parking lot, not paying attention to who was next to me or behind me."

"Maybe we've been a little too unaware of the possible consequences of our being so open on campus. Maybe we should be a little more careful."

"If you mean being less affectionate, Billy, I disagree. It's a little late for that and I don't want to go back. If you mean keeping our eyes open at all times, I'm with you."

"Actually, I was thinking the first. But listening to you say it, the second makes more sense."

"I just can't believe anyone would want to kill you because you're gay."

"I don't want to believe it either, Lucy, but I heard it with my own ears."

Shit! One of the things Billy and I have always loved the most about Danny is his sweetness, his innocence, his naïveté. And somebody destroyed part of that today. I know Danny would be disappointed in me, but today, I hate that person.

A bodyless voice announced over the intercom, "Visiting hours are over for today. Please come back again tomorrow at 11."

Billy and I got up and kissed Danny goodnight. His kiss just might have been a little longer than mine.

Walking down the hall, I saw someone tug on Billy's sleeve. It was the orderly who brought Danny up to the room. He was about 55, thin and pale.

"If you want to stay with him, I can help you."

"And why would you want to do that?'

"Because I was in love once. I can hide you in the linen closet until all of the visitors have gone and then sneak you back into his room. The night nurse is a friend of mine. She'll play along."

"Are you okay to leave alone, Luce?"

"Sure, no problem, Billy. Take care of our white boy."

Billy

Lucy went out to the elevators and I ducked into the laundry room. After what seemed an eternity, the orderly came back and led me back to Danny's room. The room had two beds and Danny was in the one by the window. No one was in the other bed. The orderly pulled the curtain between the beds halfway and pushed a comfortable chair up near the head of Danny's bed.

"You can spend the night in this chair and no one can see you from the hallway. Of course, because of his head wound, nurses are going to come in and check on him. Just tell them that Dr. Austin said you should stay with him. He's a big shot here and unreachable at night, so they can't disprove it. Take care of your friend."

"Thank you. What's your name?"

"Oscar. What's yours?"

"Billy. And this is Danny. Thank you so much, Oscar."

I sat in the chair for a couple of hours, just watching Danny sleep, picturing him fly down those stairs over and over again and the panic I felt when I saw it, thinking about how much I loved him. A nurse walked in and asked who I was.

"I'm his roommate. Dr. Austin thought it would be a good idea if I stayed with him tonight."

"Hmm. I don't see anything on his chart about Dr. Austin having seen him, but I'm sure he knows what he's doing. I'm on until seven in the morning and I'll be in to check now and then. If your friend needs anything, come get me."

"Thanks."

She checked his pulse, his breathing and his temperature, all very gently, without even waking him up. As soon as she left the room, I climbed into the bed, held my Danny in my arms and fell asleep.

Feb. 11

Danny

I woke up this morning in more pain than I've ever felt in my life. My head was pounding, my left wrist was killing me and my right temple had this itching, burning sensation. But I also felt Billy's arms around me, holding me from behind. I could smell his breath over my cheek (yeah, morning breath is terrible, but I'm at home with his). And I felt his long thick morning bone pressing up against my butt. But the pain was more than the pleasure. I remembered where I was and why. I found the control and pressed the button for the nurse.

When she appeared, she seemed horrified at finding Billy in bed with me.

"What's he doing here?"

"Helping me, which is what you're supposed to be doing. I'm in a lot of pain. Is there some pill you can give me? I'm sure the doctor prescribed something."

"I'll check, but you've got to get him out of your bed."

She turned and practically ran from the room. Strange, for a young nurse, she seemed really freaked out by the situation.

I couldn't move much without hurting even more. I knew if I pushed my butt back into his hard dick, it wouldn't wake him up at all, just push him farther into dreamland. So I reached back with my right hand and grabbed the top of his head.

"Yo! Black boy! Wake up!"

"Huhh?"

"Wake up, Billy. You've got to get out of bed. I'm in a lot of pain and the nurse is coming with some medicine and she wants you out of the bed."

He snapped to attention, slipped out of bed behind me and came around and sat in the chair.

"How are you this morning? I couldn't stand to leave you alone. And there was this nice orderly who seemed to understand and helped me stay."

"I love that you are here, but I feel like shit. I have this horrible headache. And there is this constant throbbing pain in my wrist. I hurt so bad."

"Don't worry, Danny. I'll take care of you. I'll do whatever they say. I love you so much."

Billy

The nurse came in with a pill for Danny. She gave me a look of disgust, but other than that, ignored me. Danny and I whispered back and forth for a while, until his headache began to feel better.

'What are we going to do, Billy? I'm scared. Someone really tried to kill me."

"I don't think he or they really wanted to kill you. I think they just wanted to hurt you and scare you, which they've done. I think we just have to be more alert about who's around us from now on. And you're not going down those stairs alone again. Stall around in the lecture hall until I get there and I'll walk out with you. Everyone else should be gone by then anyway, but we know it was someone in that class, so I don't want you leaving with the others."

Just then a young black woman brought in Danny's breakfast tray. They say hospital food stinks, but after having only a Coke for supper last night it smelled mighty good to me.

"Danny, I'm gonna go down to the coffee shop and grab something while you eat. I shouldn't be more than 15 minutes. Are you gonna be okay?"

"Yeah. I don't think I'm going anywhere."

At the desk I asked the nurse when the doctor would be in to see Danny.

"Probably between nine and ten. He'll decide if he can be discharged this morning. He looks okay to me, so he'll probably be out of here in a couple of hours."

"Great!"

I scarfed down a stale donut and a small container of milk and rushed back up to the room. The doctor was examining Danny.

"How's our patient, Doc?"

"Pretty good. I see no reason why he can't go home today. You're roommates, right?"

"Right."

"Then you're in charge. Keep him quiet the rest of the day. No sudden moves, no bending down. Lots of good food. He can walk around, but take it easy. A nap this afternoon would be good. Keep the bandage on his head dry for a few days. You can probably take it off Saturday. If the wound is dry and not draining, you can leave it off, but be very careful about touching it for a couple of more days. When he showers, cover the cast with a plastic bag and fasten it tightly so no water gets in. I assume you can help him in the shower?"

"Not a problem, Doc."

"Hey, you're talking about me like I'm unconscious or not even here."

"Sorry. I hope you're both listening, so that if one forgets something, the other will remember. As far as the stitches go, the doctor at the student health center can take them out in ten to twelve days. And I want him to x-ray your wrist at the same time to make sure the fracture is healing properly. I'll write up a prescription for that. And he can remove the cast in six weeks."

"Six weeks?"

"Yeah, afraid so. And be sure to keep it dry the whole time. Once you've removed the head bandage, you can wash your hair, but be very careful around the wound."

"Okay, Doc. Anything else?"

"A couple of aspirin every six hours for a couple of days for the headache. If it doesn't go away on it's own by then, go over to the health center. Are you guys walking back to the dorm?"

"If that's okay with you."

"As long as you take it slow. Remember, you've got all day. There's no rush."

"Thank you, Doctor. You've been great. How do I go about paying you?"

"Don't worry about it. Your friend gave the admitting office your Blue Cross card. That should take care of everything."

"Well, thanks again."

"Yeah, Doc, thanks. You're super."

"You're welcome." Then he looked right at me. "Take care of our boy."

The doctor shook both our hands and left the room.

"My Blue Cross card?'

"Well, you had your father's card in your wallet. Maybe he didn't think to cancel your coverage, maybe he did. Either way, you don't have to pay anything right now."

"Jeez, you know how to work the system."

I helped Danny get into his clothes. Both his shirt and coat had dark bloodstains on the right collars.

"Bloodstains don't come out. I guess I can toss the shirt, though it was one of my favorites, but the coat is the only warm one I have. I'll just have to wear it that way."

I called Lucy while we were waiting for the orderly to come with the wheelchair to take Danny downstairs.

"Yo, Luce. What's your schedule like today? Wanna join us for lunch at the Commons around one?"

"Where are you? Back at the dorm? Is Danny okay?"

"We're just about to leave the hospital. The doc says Danny's good. We're going to take a slow walk over to the dorm, then rest a bit before lunch. I guess we're both cutting all classes today."

"I'm going to head over now. I'll pick you up along the way."

Lucy

Here I am, racing across New Brunswick again, hoping to help out the boys. Billy sounded good on the phone, very positive, like everything was really okay with Danny. I believe it. I'm starting to catch onto to Billy's lies. He's good at them, but I'm starting to see through them. I know it's only half a mile from Middlesex General to their dorm, but I don't want Danny to have to walk all that way. I was going up College Ave. when I saw them walking toward Ford Hall. I could save Danny a few blocks of walking, anyway. I double-parked and blew the horn. Billy scrambled into the back seat and Danny, very gingerly, got in the front.

"You look good, baby, even with that stain on your coat."

"I feel pretty good, Lucy. We've been walking slowly and Billy's had his arm around me all the way. That alone makes me feels so proud. And he's been singing in my ear."

"Really, Billy, I didn't know you were a singer. What were you singing to our little boy here?'

"I'm almost ashamed to admit it. I mean, I'm so into Motown, blues and a little jazz. But all that came into my mind was a white blues song, something from the Righteous Brothers called 'Unchained Melody.' It just seemed to say how I feel."

"Billy has a really beautiful voice, Lucy. You should hear him sing. I mean, I've heard him sing along with records and with me, but on his own, he really sounds good."

"Okay, guys, here's the dorms. Get out and let me go find a place to park. I'll be up to your room in a couple of minutes."

God was with me, because I actually found a place to park in the lot behind the gym. I walked over to the dorm and found Billy pampering Danny.

"C'mon boys, I thought you were offering me lunch. Let's get going. I'm cutting God knows how many classes for this."

On line at Broward Commons, we caught up with how Danny was doing. Billy kept his arm around Danny's waist, which really attracted attention. Especially when they occasionally exchanged a little peck on the lips. I thought back a few months to the first time I saw them kiss and how weird that looked, but how natural it seems now. People are just going to have to get over it. Love is love.

Billy

Danny was a little out of it at lunch. Probably the pain pills they had given him. I caught Lucy up on what the doctor had told us this morning. I was in the middle of my rundown of Danny's treatment plan when he interrupted.

"So Lucy, any news from Brad? Are you and he still hot for each other, miles apart?"

"Actually, I got a letter from him today. The mail should really be faster. I mean, the letter I got today was in answer to one I sent last week, but I sent another yesterday, so we're kind of out of sync. But things are good. Even without his body to hold onto, and do other things with, I still love being in touch with him."

"Wow, that's so great. I'm so happy for you, that you have found a guy like that."

"Danny, I love you so much. You've been through such a scary experience in the past day, you're in so much pain, yet you're thinking of me and my happiness."

"Don't think I'm totally altruistic. If I'm not thinking of you and Brad, then I'm thinking of me and Billy. And thinking of his big thick black dick that I love so much but am not in any condition to do anything with is too frustrating. So I have to think about something else."

"God, Danny. I keep thinking you're the sweet one and Billy's the sleazy one, but you have me questioning that."

"Lucy, I know I'm too young to have come up with a philosophy of life, but I think that all men, given the right circumstances have the capability of being pigs. Men are animals more than women, I think."

"White boy, even though you haven't had anything to drink, whatever they gave you in the hospital has put you over your limit. You need a nap."

"Yeah, Danny. I do have a class this afternoon. Let Billy take you back to your room and put you to bed."

Hmmm. Putting Danny to bed. That is one hell of a sweet thought. But, given his condition, I'll have to be very gentle. We got up to the room and Danny seemed to be fading out. I carefully undressed him and lay him down on my bed. I just stood there for a minute, looking down at the beautiful, white, naked blonde boy who, by some miracle, belonged to me. His beautiful green eyes were only half open, but were focused on me.

"Hey, black boy. I know I'm supposed to be careful and not move around much, but I'm horny. Can you think of anything we can do?"

I didn't even think. I just peeled my clothes off and lay down on the bed on my side next to him, practically wrapping myself around him. I could see us in a small mirror across the room. It reminded me of the pictures Lucy had taken of us. Damn! Our skin colors do look good against each other. Danny just lay there, almost half asleep. I slid down a bit and began licking his right nipple. Just running the tip of my tongue around it, actually. Finally, I sucked it into my mouth and lightly nibbled on it. Then I worked on the left nipple a bit. He just lay there, moaning.

I scooted down to the foot of the bed and got between his legs. Leaning on my elbows on either side of his hips, I lifted his rock hard dick off his smooth flat abdomen and pointed it straight up. I just stared at it for a minute. It was absolutely beautiful. I have only my own to compare it to and while mine is a bit longer and thicker, it's also a bit coarser looking, with a big vein bulging the whole length. Danny's is just like he is-pale, silky smooth, flawless. The doctor had done a perfect job on his circumcision. The head was just a bit larger than the shaft, with a well-defined edge around it.

Very gently, I ran the tip of my tongue under that edge. It always drives me wild when Danny does that to me, so I thought I'd try it on him. After a minute of that, I took the head in my mouth and sucked gently on it, like a baby suckling a teat. Danny was moaning again. I began to move up and down his shaft, very slowly, very gently, but sucking at full strength. About two thirds down, his head hit the back of my throat. Sometimes, that's my limit; depending on the position we're in. Today, I was determined to take it all. After a couple of tries, my throat opened and welcomed him. I started pumping him a little harder and faster, being careful not to overdo it.

Danny was obviously enjoying it from the sounds he was making. He began to get more vocal than usual.

"Oh yeah, Billy. Suck my hard dick. Take it down your throat. Suck me harder. Harder! Squeeze my balls, pull on them, tug on them. Suck me. Swallow my cock. Blow me, black boy. Eat my cum. Eat me."

I kept sucking and playing with his balls. Suddenly, I felt them tighten up and I knew he was about to blow.

"Oh, yeah! That's it! Take me. Take my load! Swallow it all. Suck me dry! Drink every drop! Oh, God, you are so good!"

Danny shot streams of cum into my mouth and throat as I kept sucking more out of him. I couldn't believe how much he came. When it was finally over, I crawled up next to him and cuddled with him, kissing him on the ear and neck.

"Oh, Billy, that was the best ever. I love you so much."

"I love you even more, white boy."

He was asleep before I finished the sentence. I looked at the clock. My Sociology class was in ten minutes. Fuck it. This is where I belong right now.
