Gay

Beyond the Blue, part 30 by lennoxbear@aol.com

The following is a story of gay erotic and involves male to male sexual situations. Should these offend you - bye.

Mary Lou held onto the car's doorframe for leverage as she pulled herself from the low vehicle. She muttered under her breath as she wobbled to an upright position. Steve ran around from the driver's side to help her but the growl on her face made him pause.

She leaned against the top of the door and wheezed. "We have to hit more bumps. Something to jar this kid loose."

"I was doing the best I could. Can I help it if they paved all the streets in this neighbourhood?" Steve closed the car door as Mary Lou stretched her back. "The baby will be here soon enough."

"Two weeks! This kid is two weeks overdue. If I had known he was going to take after you on being late I would have thought twice about getting pregnant. Look at me. I'm the size of a new Beetle, my breasts look like two watermelons and, oh hell, who knows what my ankles look like, I haven't seen them for months."

"You look wonderful to me." The well-dressed, attractive woman walking toward them commented and brought a smile to Mary Lou's face. The two women kissed and hugged. "Steve, all pregnant women act this way, she'll be fine, just wait an see." Steve gave her a slight smile and followed behind as they walked toward the door. Despite being the father of Mary Lou's baby, he felt like a third wheel when she met her lover. For the past six months, he felt increasingly uncomfortable on the sidelines as their fondness for each other grew. But, after all, she was going to deliver this kid. Mary Lou and her doctor-lover were taking the ramp to the front of the church. Steve spied Ron waiting at the front steps and went over to say hello.

The older man fidgeted with his tie and grumbled. "Whose idea was it for all of us to do dress uniforms for this anyway?" Steve chuckled at the friendly man fighting the coat and tie.

"I think it was the chief's. Grin and bear it buddy." Bo and Kenny walked around the corner of the building, Bo in his dress uniform and Kenny in a suit. For a brief moment, the sight sent a shot of heat straight to Steve's crotch.

"Morning Ron, you're looking dapper." Bo stood with his hand in Kenny's. At this point, they didn't care what people thought about their being lovers.

Ron grumbled back. "F........., read my mind. I can't say what I want. How long is this thing anyway?"

Bo shrugged his shoulders. "I guess about an hour. Then there's the lunch thing afterwards."

"Good, I can use a drink."

Kenny adjusted his own tie. "Uh, I think the dinner is dry in honor of Linda's parents. Maybe not. Her father being a minister and all that." The four men looked at each other and sighed collectively. People were beginning to enter the church. "Guess we should go in and find seats. Steve?"

"Oh, uh, Mary Lou is saving one for me. I was waiting for, there he is." The tall man in a county sheriff's uniform came ambling down the sidewalk. "Dennis, over here." The two beefy men kissed and hugged.

Ron shook his head. "This is going to be one hel, er, heck of a christening." He walked up the steps as Bo and Kenny shook hands with Dennis. Steve and Dennis had become partners almost from the moment they met. He never flinched when Steve announced he was going to be the father of Mary Lou's baby. He had fallen completely, nauseatingly in love with Steve and figured whatever made him happy, well, it would work out some way. Steve and Dennis took seats near Mary Lou and her partner as Ron, Bo and Kenny joined Sonny and Art.

A tall distinguished gentleman and very attractive woman walked by and took seats near the front of the church. Linda's parents. All heads turned when another tall, hugely muscular man and attractive woman walked down the aisle and took seats with them. Jim's parents.

Bo leaned toward Kenny. "Wow, compared to his father, Jim's a runt."

Ron moaned and lowered his head. "Lord, help me."

"Hey guys, how is everyone this fine day?" The friends all turned to see Eric in suit and tie sliding into the pew behind them. The suit did nothing to hide the massive size of the man. They had been used to seeing him in jeans and leathers with his shaved head, goatee and steel blue eyes.

Sonny motioned to their row. "We can squeeze you in up here."

"Nah, that's OK. I don't think that pew can handle much more beef."

"I thought you were bringing someone?"

Eric blushed. "Well, funny thing there. This guy that I keep hoping to get to know, well, he's always working, two jobs, and doesn't seem to have any desire to have a social life from what I hear from my staff."

"Let me get this straight. He works for your company and he couldn't get a day off?" Eric's face went a shade deeper red.

"Ummmm, I'm not so sure he's, well, one of us, you know."

All the men in the row in front of Eric turned. "You've been finagling around this guy for what, a year and a half and you're just now thinking that maybe he isn't gay?" Several people in surrounding rows turned to look. Ron squeaked.

Eric shrugged. "Just haven't taken the opportunity. Always working. Besides, we'll be moving into our new building soon and he's going to be running the security system with my crew, so, maybe, I'll get a chance to talk with him."

Sonny looked at the big man in disbelief. "Wow, Eric Stout, shy. Not something I would have imagined."

"Not shy, but since David's death, I've been cautious meeting people. If it's meant to be, it'll happen. If not, well, I think we get a good employee no matter what. Boy, there are quite a few people here. I didn't think this many people came to a christening."

Ron sighed. "It isn't everyday the kid has two dads and two moms."

Kenny looked around at the crowd. "It is an interesting cross-section of people. Not likely you would ever see them together at any other event."

Bo watched the broad back of one of the guests walking by. "Maybe a football game?"

Sonny and Art turned and laughed. "Lesbians yes, gay men, well, maybe."

"Gay men maybe what?" Al's brother plops into the pew next to Eric and waves at everyone.

"Go to football games."

"Oh. Nope, lesbians and golf. Gay men and softball."

"How would you know?"

"My brother keeps me very well informed and is often upset cause he couldn't find anyone with which to watch football. Now he has Jim. Although, I wouldn't exactly call what they do WATCHING football."

Eric introduces himself. "How long you in town?"

"Just for this. I fly out this afternoon for a conference. I'll miss the rest of the fun this weekend. Linda's father, the minister, and Jim's father, who I would say from the muscle mass is an obvious closet case. Wow, he's big."

"Having lots of muscle does not constitute being gay."

Giggles and laughs. "Yeah, right."

Jim sat in a chair in a side office and took deep breaths. Al massaged his knotted shoulders through the thick material of the uniform dress shirt. "Jim, if you keep that up, you'll hyperventilate. Why are you so nervous?"

"I don't know. Maybe because my son is being christened and he's going to be the center of attention with two mom's and two dads."

"Well, technically, Janet and I are the Godparents."

"You know what I mean. Owwww, that one hurt."

"Man you are one giant knotted nerve ending. I know what you need."

"Ummmm, like, look around, we're in a church."

"I didn't say I wanted you to do me here, but soon." Al slid his hands down over Jim's thick square pecs and twisted the big nipples through the starched shirt. Jim moaned. He had discovered the joys of pumping his nips over the last few months and had become a major tit pig. Al figured it was a sympathetic reaction to not being able to nurse his son. But Al made up for that as much as possible. Jim leaned his head back and rolled it against Al's tight abs.

"Hey, check out my tie, is it straight? You know how bad I am at doing these things." Jim stood up and turned around to adjust Al's tie. He looked into the big dark man's deep dark eyes and leaned in for a long kiss. His arms circled around Al's waist in a position that felt more than natural now. Since the shooting, Al had thrown himself full-force back into lifting, running and martial arts. The result was a leaner, more muscular musclebear that hit all the right buttons for Jim. Al had pushed his chest back up to 54 and his waist down to 32. The amazing v-taper only made the hard, round muscle butt more noticeable, especially in his tight faded biker jeans. All Al had to do was walk in the door from riding the bike in his tight jeans and tighter t-shirt and Jim would be instantly on him. Not that Al minded.

He had dragged Jim back into the gym with him and had helped transform him into one massive muscle bound cop. One that in a few weeks would be making his first appearance in a bodybuilding competition. Their renewed passion for the gym didn't keep them from being good parents to Jim's son. They interviewed a dozen day care centers before selecting one not far from the gym that made it easy to pick the boy up on the way home. Al was making small weight sets out of plastic blocks for the kid for play. Never too early.

They only allowed themselves one night out a month in bars and then made a full leather appearance to turn heads at The Garage. Other weekends they hosted their buddies in dinners and cookouts, in order to focus attention on the baby. Bo, Kenny, Sonny and Art would often spend the night and make a weekend of kicking back and relaxing. The uncles showered the poor kid with attention and toys. Janet on more than one occasion would have to sort toys from the crib so the baby could sleep.

In a few minutes, they would be joining Janet and Linda for little James christening. Jim pressed his lips hard against Al's. His hot hands traced the muscles in Al's sinewy back and slowly came to rest on the hard as brick glutes. He broke the kiss to rest his head on Al's shoulder and hug the man as tightly and as closely as possible.

"I know a lot of guys who don't think it's butch to say, but man, I love you." Al took a deep breath of Jim's heavy male scent. He felt Jim's huge dick pressing against his.

"Nah, sorry, I don't think there's anything hotter or more masculine than two big beefy men who can admit they love each other outside the heat of passionate sex. Which, if we don't back off, we will be into in a big way. We will pick up where we left off later."

The two men kiss quickly and reach for their jackets. The door opens and the minister announces that it is time. They follow the kindly older gentleman to the side chapel where they meet Janet and Linda. Jim's mother appears with the baby, who just happens to be wearing a small policeman's badge on his christening clothes. Janet and Linda give it a puzzled look as Al's face turns red. The minister smiles and shakes hands with all four of them.

"I think you folks are very brave and are doing a wonderful thing. God Bless all of you. Now, we need to christen little James Earl. Ready?" The four follow Jim's mother and the baby into the chapel, now filled with family and friends. The sea of police uniforms made Jim and Al pause for several seconds.

"Did we invite all these people?" Al shook his head no. The minister shows them where to stand and then leans in closer.

"I talked with a lot of people as they were coming in today. Two gay couples christening a child is not an everyday occurrence. When one of those couples are policemen, well, I think, you have a lot more support than you realize." Jim's mother smiles. Little James Earl could care less and sleeps through most of the ceremony. The minister performs the ceremony with Janet and Linda standing on one side and Jim and Al on the other. Jim looks out over the room of people and estimates about three times the number of people they had invited had come. Jim and Al had kept their list down to a few close family members and a few friends, likewise for Janet and Linda. The fact that half the guys in the precinct came was overwhelming.

They were never quite sure if two openly gay men on the police force would be accepted let alone a gay couple. Add in Bo, Kenny and Steve.... well, they figured there was no way. Now, to have so many of their co-workers attending the christening of a baby was a major affirmation of acceptance of them in a vastly straight culture. Jim caught Al watching him and smiled. Little Jim woke up as the ceremony ended and began fussing. Jim's mother cradled the infant who spied Al and reached out.

Jim's mother smirked as she handed the boy to Al. "Wonder what that means?" Al took the tiny baby and held him in his arms to the applause of the cops in attendance. The bemused minister only shook his head.

"This is a first for me, not christening a baby for a gay couple, we openly welcome that. But having half the police force here applauding, well, that's a new one." He walked the four parents to an area to receive their guests and stood by beaming from ear to ear. "I've never felt so safe.....on earth."

People filed out and offered their congratulations. Each waved a finger at the baby who performed perfectly with a plethora of smiles and giggles.

Al carefully held him while Jim and Linda accepted the accolades. He whispered to Janet. "This kid is already a ham, easy to see after whom he takes."

"I think he needs to be changed. You're right, after Jim."

Jim heard his name and turned to look. "What?"

Janet and Al smiled back. "Oh, nothing."

Bo, Kenny, Sonny, Art and Ron file by and offer their comments. Jim asks if they are coming over for dinner and all confirm. A police captain saunters up and offers his hand to Jim and Linda. "You know, the guys are real proud of all of you, made us all think. And well, we took up a collection and have something to be put aside for the kid's college. Good luck." Jim opens the envelope to find a cashiers check for $1,000. His jaw drops as he struggles for words.

"I don't know what to say guys."

"Hey, getting you to shut up, that's reward enough."

Linda finally spoke up. "That I have to agree with." Jim shoots her a look. The captain exits as the shadow from Eric's 6'5" frame appears in front of them. He also accepts an invitation to come over to the house but looked hesitant to agree.

Jim pulled on his tie. "It's casual, go change into something more comfortable."

Al leans over indignantly. "Wait a minute. You said I had to stay in the suit and tie get up."

"I said you had to stay in the suit and tie until I undressed you."

Eric congratulates Linda again. "I'm going back to the hotel to change, see you later. You may need to hose down these two." Linda only rolls her eyes.

Jim and Al watch the big man step outside and join the rest of their friends. Jim takes the baby from Al as Max walks quietly over. Jim shakes his hand and introduces his son. "We're glad you made it Max, didn't know if you would."

"I just came back late last night from visiting Earl's family in Pennsylvania and settling the last of his estate. I'm just so sorry he couldn't be here to witness this. He really liked you two and would have been so happy to know your son has Earl as a middle name."

Jim holds the big man's hand as Linda leans in to rub his arm. "It's the least we could do for the man who saved Al's life and changed ours in so many ways. We're all so glad we got to know Earl before he died."

Jim is busy getting the side of his head slapped. "Yeah, what she said. Are you coming over to the house?"

"Yeah, I'd like that, can I change clothes?"

"Sure, see ya in a bit." Max also joins their buds outside as the four gather the baby's things and head to Jim and Al's house. Both set of grandparents are already there, getting food ready for guests who begin arriving almost before the guest of honor.

Linda's father holds his grandson and nods slowly. "I can't say that I totally understand what has happened here with you and Jim, but I'm trying. I love you both and want you to know that whatever you need, I'm here. Uh, but I think he needs to be changed." Jim's mother scoops up little Jim and whisks him off to the nursery. Jim and Al head to their room to change. Al hears the door lock behind him and turns to face Jim who grabs his tie and pulls their faces roughly together in a heated kiss.

"Remember what I said about getting undressed?"

"We have guests waiting for us."

"And two sets of grandparents just waiting to spoil their grandson." Al's tie goes flying toward the closet followed by his suit coat. Al watches Jim's deep blue eyes as he feels his shirt being unbuttoned and stripped from his furry chest. Jim's hot hands push him back on the bed and work to remove the rest of his clothes. Their eyes never lose contact. Jim strips out of his suit, pushes Al back across the bed and lies out on top of him. Al feels the monster dick hard against his and moans.

"Jim we really don't have time......." Jim flips Al's legs back and buries his tongue up Al's hungry butt. "OK, maybe 20 minutes."

Thirty minutes later Al walks downstairs to join the party of family and friends. He finds Eric in tight black jeans and matching T-shirt at the bottom of the steps sipping a beer talking to the minister. "Where's Jim?"

"He's upstairs brushing his teeth. He'll be right down."

The minister looks confused. "Brushing his teeth before he eats, why?" Al winks and pats the kindly man on the shoulder.

"Trust me, it's a good idea. I'm going to get something to eat, would you like anything sir?"

"Um, maybe another bourbon." They leave Eric alone as Jim comes down the stairs.

"Did you use mouthwash?" Jim looked quickly at Al across the room. "Hey, if my lover looked like that, I'd do the same thing, who are we kidding? Here, this is for little Jimmy's college fund." Jim looked in the card Eric had handed him and found another check for $1,000." Jim's mouth drops in shock.

"Eric, this is...."

"Money well spent. I believe in investing in my friends." The two men hug as Jim's father walks over.

The big man introduces himself to Eric. Jim shows him the check and is shocked when his father hugs the beefy man and thanks him for his gift. He slaps Jim on the ass and goes to get a drink.

Eric leans over to Jim's ear. "Jim, uh, your father just groped my ass."

"OK, I'm not ready to find out my father is gay, too much for one day. Thanks again for this check big guy."

"You're more than welcome. Hey, you guys thinking of coming down next weekend?"

"If we can convince Linda and Janet to baby-sit."

"Good, although, we start moving into our new offices this week and I may have to finish moving things on Saturday. I'll let you know. There's still so much to be done on the offices, phones aren't all in yet, more data cabling as well as the security system. But we gotta be out of our old offices fast."

"Well, if not next weekend, some other time. It wouldn't be fun if you are so tired you can stay awake. If, you get my drift."

"OK, we'll talk. Maybe I'll even have a date lined up for next weekend. There is that young guy I've had my eye on."

"Yeah, right, who you haven't asked out. Go get another beer, and food, lots of food." Eric saunters away as Max walks in the front door. He hugs Jim and holds the hug.

"That's for Earl. I promised I would always hug you guys real tight like." Al brings Max his usual drink upon seeing him enter.

"You're looking real buff Max."

"Yeah, well, I've been working out a lot to keep my mind occupied but not eating a lot since Earl's death. Not much of an appetite. Oh, this is for your son from Earl and me. For college." Jim takes the offered card.

"This kid is going to have one helluva a college fund, holy shit $5,000. Max?"

"No, no, no. Earl didn't have any kids to give money too and he saved and invested really well. It was left for you in the will, really, and I added to it." The three men hug and kiss. "Hey, you know what? I'm suddenly feeling really hungry."

"Go eat, enjoy." Al walks Max to the dining room while Jim goes upstairs to put the checks in a safe place. He finds the group of friends outside enjoying the warm afternoon and joins them with a plateful of food. The men are all discussing how their relationships have worked out and teasing Steve and Mary Lou for having the strangest. Mary Lou sits in a chair and laughs at the jokes flying in the helpless Steve's direction. Dennis stands quietly at Steve's side rubbing the beefy cop's back and biting his tongue. Mary Lou stops all chatter with a loud gasp. Then shakes her head no.

"This kid refuse to leave."

Janet, standing next to Bo, lifts her beer in a salute. "Honey, just wait, before you realize you'll be begging it to stay in there. Then plop, it's over."

Bo screws up his face. "Plop?"

Janet shrugs her shoulders. "You know Bo, I know Linda didn't want to raise a baby and all that, and for the most part I agree with her. But seeing Mary Lou and holding little Jimmy, well, it makes me want to have another baby, Bo?"

She looks at the big man passed out in the grass. "I didn't mean this minute!!"
