Manish brought them their two cokes, and served them with a towel wrapped around the can, as he poured the drink into the fashionable glasses. Then he asked if they had decided and whether he could take their order for a meal. Manish was smart and stylish, making him a cut above the rest, not to forget his dynamic personality and communication skills, the only bad point he had was that he trusted everyone easily and also that he considered everyone he met, as simple as he was.
They answered in the affirmative and he stood there, beside their table as they flipped through the pages of the menu. One of the guys, intentionally, tried to feel Manish's mantool through his pants, though he later said sorry. Manish didn't mind much and simply said, "Its okay, sir", and took their order.
He went into the pantry after they had given him the order, and after about 15 minutes brought their food, that they had and left. They left him a good tip, his first tip in his new job.
Later he got a few more customers, many good tips and also no gay customers. After 4 p.m., the manager of the restaurant announced that he restaurant was going to close for the day as there was a private party of the owner.
The entire staff was pleased, when he summoned the waiters in red waistcoats to his room and told them to report for duty at a given address at 7 p.m. sharp, he also told them that they would be paid extra for waiting on in the party. Manish didn't mind the job and agreed to come and so did the other waiter, who was a more "experienced" waiter in this respect.
Both of them left, and before leaving, the manager told them that they could come in casuals, as for that party they had a separate uniform, that would be provided to them there at the party's venue itself.
Saying so, he told them to leave and report for duty at the given venue at the correct time and freshened up as it would be a rather long party, that would extend way into the early hours of next day.
Another thing that he told them was, they would be given a holiday the next day, and that too with pay; which further delighted the new recruit, Manish.
