Once again, here's the disclaimer. This is my first attempt at writing this type of story, so when you e-mail me please be kind. Comments will be greatly appreciated.

This story is completely fictional. Any similarities to any persons or events, past or present are purely coincidental. This story may depict sexual situations between young males. Finally as I said before if this type of story offends you, boy are you in the wrong place or what?
I know, the first chapter was kind of short. I just didn't want to bore anyone with too many details until I set the hook. I do plan on doing a little bit of character development from this point on, and like I said, I'm kind of new at this so please be gentle.
Allen - by tim Part 2
It was a long walk home for Calvin that night. Just what the hell was that about tonight? Why did Allen have to do that to him? And why did he over-react so drastically? After all, he never could quite shake the feelings he got when he saw a really cute boy. Many times these feelings would cause a reaction that he wished more than anything he could control. It's not like he disliked the stirrings he got in his groin when he saw someone who turned him on, but why did it have to be boys? Especially why did it have to be Allen? Tonight made it all too real for Calvin. Nothing was ever easy for Calvin, it just couldn't be could it?
Calvin could remember as a child always being knocked around by his father, who was a men's Golden Gloves district champion and an alternate for the 1984 Olympic boxing team. Robert Wilson just couldn't let his son grow up to be some kind of sissy, so he had to toughen Calvin up for his own good. It's not like he tried to hurt Calvin, just make sure he could handle himself like a man, that's all. When young Calvin became interested in boxing and went out for junior Golden Gloves it made Robert so proud, but what he didn't know is that Calvin felt he had to. He had to do something to be able to protect himself from his dad.
Then a few years ago Calvin started having feelings that were definitely sexual in nature, but to his shock these feelings tended to happen only when he was around other boys. He knew his dad would kill him if he ever found out about this, so Calvin immediately learned how to keep most of these feelings inside where no one would ever see them, or so he thought. He did feel that he was able to shake any suspicion and pass it off as the other kid being too horny and imaginative for their own good. But Allen's question couldn't be shrugged off so easily, after all Allen was one of his best friends. At least Allen never went around acting like he was scared to death to cross him, and Calvin really needed that. Besides, Allen would always just say what was on his mind, at least until recently. Calvin also had to admit Allen was really cute and REALLY hot, at least Calvin thought so.
When Calvin caught his thoughts turning to how he really felt about Allen he suddenly dropped to his knees alongside the empty and lonely street and screamed out "OH NO! What have I done?!"
Meanwhile, back at the Cooper home Emily had her hands full with two boys. One, very frantic and confused and the other one, unconscious and bleeding. "Here," Emily commanded her son Rusty, "hold this towel to Allen's face while I call the paramedics."
"Okay mom" Rusty almost cried, "please hurry!" Then Rusty turned to his friend, gently sobbing and said in a low voice "Why did I let you go through with this? I should have been there for you. Why would Calvin react this way to you?" Rusty knelt there at his friends side now almost crying and said "Please don't go away on me. I promise he won't get away with this."
Mrs. Cooper almost had to pry Rusty away from Allen when the paramedics arrived to begin working on Allen. As soon as the paramedics had him in a collar and all hooked up and loaded they hauled ass to the hospital, with Emily, Rusty, and his younger sister Beth following as best they could. When they arrived at the hospital Allen was in the emergency room being attended to by a herd of doctors. A nurse was waiting for Emily with a stack of paperwork.
The nurse asked "are you the parent?"
"No," explained Emily, "I'm a friend of the family. I've tried to get in touch with Allen's parents, but I haven't had any luck so far."
"Well," droned the nurse, "we have to talk to a parent about his treatment and this paperwork that needs to be filled out."
"Mom," interrupted Rusty, "we may have to get dad involved in this."
"Now why exactly would we need to get a DCF caseworker involved in this?" asked Emily. "We need to talk about this right now young man."
"Well," said Rusty, "I know what Allen was doing tonight. He was having a talk with his parents and Calvin Wilson. His parents had to have been there when this happened."
As Mike Cooper was pulling into the emergency room parking lot he was wondering to himself what his son and his son's friends have gotten into this time. First he checked on Allen's condition and anything the hospital staff could tell him, then he set off toward the waiting room to talk to his son.
"So son," Mike started asking, "what is going on here? While we're at it, why can't anyone find Allen's parents? Please keep in mind son, your mother overheard some of what you said to Allen before the paramedics arrived."
"I talked to Allen yesterday." said Rusty. " He was going to talk to his parents and Calvin tonight. He wanted to tell Calvin and his parents tonight that he is gay and in love with Calvin. I told him it was a great idea because everyone at school seems to know that Calvin is gay too. I should have told him to be careful because someone might not have taken the news as well as he hoped they would. I just couldn't see why Calvin would do something like this, and I don't know why his parents wouldn't have stopped it. I'm so sorry dad." Rusty was in tears by the time he finished telling his dad the story of what he knew.
"Don't worry about it son," consoled his dad as he put his arm around his son's shoulders. "This is not your fault, and you couldn't have had any idea that this would have happened."
"Yeah dad," replied Rusty, "but I failed my best friend when he needed me the most."
"You did no such thing Russ." said Mike. "Like I said you had no way of knowing this would happen. If you had advised Allen not to do this, he may have felt you were interfering with his life because you were uncomfortable with his sexual orientation and didn't want to see him with a boyfriend. You wouldn't have wanted that to happen, would you?"
"No dad," said Rusty, "but that wouldn't have happened anyway. Allen knows I've never had a problem with him being gay. He's the best friend anyone could ever have, and he would have known I couldn't possibly feel that way."
"Right now you're just assuming he wouldn't have felt that way," said Mike, "but there's no way of knowing that for sure. Anyways, I don't want you to confront anyone about this. Please son, let my office take care of this. You know I wouldn't let you and your friend Allen down if I could help it."
"Okay dad," answered Rusty. "I trust you, and I'll try to control myself."
"Thanks son." said Mike.
First thing Mike would have to do would be to file a temporary state custody order for Allen so he could be treated. Then he was going to have to have an official talk with Allen's parents. He had a good idea where he might at least find Ben Martin, after all there's only one bar in the neighborhood, and judging by the way he took his son's news that's most likely where he was. As Mike pulled into the parking lot of the bar he spotted Ben's car right away. Once inside the bar Mike spotted Ben in a corner nursing a drink with his head hung down.
"Hi'ya Ben" said Mike. "Do you mind if we have a little talk?"
"I don't know if I'm in the mood for talking right now Mike" said Ben.
"Bullshit!" exclaimed Mike. "If I wern't here in an official capacity, do you know how hard it would for me to keep from ripping your head off right now?"
"I don't need this crap right now Mike!" Ben almost shouted.
"No, you don't," said Mike. "Right now you need a ride home because you're too drunk to be driving. You also need to explain to me why I just had to file for custody of your son, why he's laying in a hospital emergency room, and why you didn't do anything to stop it!"
"You're right, Mike" said Ben as he slumped back into his seat, with resignation in his voice.
Meanwhile back at the hospital, the doctors had just finished working on Allen for now and placed him in a room. The head doctor on the case then went out to the waiting room to talk to Mrs. Cooper.
As soon as Rusty saw the doctor walk up to his mom he jumped up and asked "How is he doc? What's wrong? Is he going to be okay?"
"Slow down son," said Emily, "the doctor was just getting ready to explain Allen's condition."
"Okay," said the doctor, "we've moved him to a room on our intensive care floor, just as a precaution. He doesn't seem to have any internal bleeding, but we need to run some more tests in the morning just to make sure. We're pretty sure though he does have a concussion, he is still unconcsious right now. We're going to check that out later tonight. He also has a fractured jaw and two broken ribs."
"Oh my god!" said Rusty. "Is he going to be okay?"
"He is in stable condition right now," said the doctor, "and he's young, so there's no reason for us not to think he's not going to be fine. He will be very sore for quite some time though, but he should heal."
"Can I go and see him now?" asked Rusty.
"As I said" the doctor stated, "he is unconcsious right now."
"Rusty," said his mom, "I know you're very concerned about Allen right now, but the doctors sound like they're going to be busy with him until tommorrow morning. I think it would be best if we took your sister home now and came back around noon, after we find a sitter for Beth."
"I think that sounds like a good idea." said the doctor. "By noon tommorrow we should be done with our tests. Besides there's really nothing you can do here right now. If anything should happen we would call you immediately, but I really think everything will be okay."
It was a quiet ride home for the Coopers that night, with Beth siiting in the front with her mom and Rusty sitting in the back. Occasionally the sound of quiet sobbing would come from the back seat. The only break in the silence was when Beth asked, "Why would someone beat up Rusty's friend like that mom?"
"I don't know for sure right now Beth," replied Emily, "but your father will get to the bottom of this I"m sure."
Well, that's all for part two. What can Mr. Martin say to explain what happened, And will Rusty keep his promise to his dad? Find the answers to those questions in part three, coming soon to a nifty website near you. Thanks to all of you who have written me so far, it makes me glad that I found the nerve to start this story.
