I almost fell out of my chair upon seeing his friend request. There was a mix of emotions. On one hand, I was really excited and just wanted to click accept but on the other hand, I felt...doubtful.

This friend request of his could mean anything.

"Hey!" A voice of a young girl interrupted my deep thought. I looked up to see Cara. Surprised, I stood up to give her a hug (which was really awkward but what else should I do right?). "What brings you here?" I asked. "Oh I go to gym here. I just live nearby." She said with a smile, "I assume you go to gym here too?" She asked as she looked at my gym bag on the floor. "Yeah. It's a pretty nice gym, great people and great environment." I said, "Please have a seat."

We sat down and talked about various stuff for a while. Seriously, if I was a straight boy, I would've probably fucked the shit out of Cara. With her figure, her pretty face and her damn pleasing personality, she was 100% girlfriend material.

But, I was gay.

Anyways, our conversation eventually got to the topic of the seminar, which of course, led to Alex. I felt like Cara was someone I could trust so I became honest with her about Alex and I (although I'm pretty sure she already knew). "So uhm...Alex and I aren't in such good terms." I started. Sara shot me a pretty convincing shocked look, "Is that so? How come?"

I told her the whole situation in great detail, from the first day we met to the last thing I said before leaving the airport. Cara was such a sweet girl, she listened so intently to my story and I greatly appreciated that. I felt we'd get along pretty well. "And now I just checked my facebook and saw that he sent me a friend request." I said as I turned my laptop around so she can see. Cara raised her eyebrow at me with a slight smirk on her face. "What?" I asked. Cara laughed, "Jesus, Nick! Accept the request!" I sighed, "I know, I know. I really want to. It's just that...I don't know."

"Don't be such a pusy Nick!" Cara said as she grabbed my laptop and clicked accept. "Why did you do that???" I asked panicking. "Well who else will?" She said, "Look, remember when I said that Alex was lucky?" I nodded my head yes. "That's cause I see something good in you, Nick. Reconnecting with Alex would make him happy and probably make you happy as well."

Cara stood up from her seat to leave. Before leaving though she left me some advice. "Just message him, Nick. It won't hurt." She said as she winked then put her sunglasses on and left.

I stared at my laptop screen for a good five minutes, my eyes focused on the name Alex Ricci. I opened a new chatbox, nervously wanting to message him.

But then, a chatbox popped up on the corner of my screen.

Alex Ricci: Hey.

I kid you not when I say that I nearly fell off my seat once I saw the message. Of course, I was fucking surprised. But I knew I had to play it cool, I couldn't easily say "HI ALEX I MISS YOU. PLEASE KISS ME AGAIN."

I played it cool. This was how the conversation went.

Alex: Hey

Nick: Hey (I was definitely playing it cool.)

Alex: How are you?

Nick: I'm alright. And you? (Okay so far, so good.)

Alex: Uhm...okay I guess. I just wanted to ask if you wanted to meet? I was hoping to talk.

Seriously, this time, I almost spat my coffee out. ALEX RICCI WANTS TO MEET. WHY? WHY? WHY???

I took deep breaths to compose myself.

Nick: Sure. Wanna meet at the Starbucks here at the Town Center? (which was where I was right now.)

Alex: Sounds cool. Friday after school?

Nick: Alright.

Alex: Okay. See you.

Nick: See you.

That was it, the conversation ended. I packed my stuff up and walked back home. I had to collect my thoughts, so many questions were running through my mind. What did he want to talk about? Why did he want to meet? Why was Alex so fucking hot? (lol)

Eventually, I cooled down. I opened my laptop again so I could finish my report for the school paper. Unfortunately though, my mind was so occupied with the idea of meeting Alex. I did the one thing I do when I need to focus: jack off (hahaha!).

I opened an incognito tab and looked up some porn to watch. I clicked on one of the videos which had a thumbnail of two boys on a couch, giving each other a handjob. Soon enough, I was rock hard. I pushed my shorts down to my knees and began to stroke my hard boy meat, mesmerized by the site of two teen boys jerking each other off.

I grunted and moaned as I was close to shooting a load. "Ugh fuuck!" I exclaimed (good thing mom and dad weren't home) as I blew my load all over my sweaty abs. Yep, that felt fucking great.

Anyways, I cleaned up and proceeded to write and finish my report. _

The rest of the school week went by as usual. Luckily, my absence due to the seminar last week didn't affect me much since there weren't really any new lessons so I was easily able to catch up.

When Friday came, I was nervous throughout the day. My friends noticed that I was shaky the whole day. I just came up with the excuse that I had too much caffeine. After the final bell rang that day, I left the campus as fast as I could and walked on my way to the Town Center.

I was panicking because Alex and I didn't agree to meet at a specific time. He just said "after school." So it was possible that Alex was dismissed early from school and he was already there, waiting for me. Oh god, oh god, oh god.

Thankfully though, when I got to the Starbucks at the Town Center, there was still no Alex in sight. I ordered some brewed coffee and sat at my usual spot. The whole time, I would panic when the door would open and new people would come in and leave. I probably looked like a mad man as I waited for Alex.

Then, the door opened and it was as if jesus entered through the door. I raised my head so Alex could see me. When his eyes met mine, he immediately approached me. "Hey." He said with just the slightest smile. I looked up at him, "Hi." I said as I gestured him to have a seat.

I still sensed that cold vibe from him and it immediately brought my mood down. I hate seeing him like this, I hate that he treated me this way although I know I deserve it. I regret what I said and did to him. Sigh.

After one very long minute of awkward silence, I decided to speak. "So...you said you wanted to talk about something?" I asked. Alex nodded his head but he still hesitated a bit to speak. "Well...I just wanted to say, I'm sorry for...you know, acting so cold to you." He sighed, "I admit that I was probably rushing things and I totally regret that. You seem like a great guy and I feel like we'll get along pretty well so I was hoping if we could, you know, start over?"

He looked me in the eye, waiting for a response. Of course, I wanted to start over, I wanted to give our friendship anothe chance. Alex was someone worth befriending not only cause of his looks but because he was just a damn great guy.

"Of course, Alex. I'd like that." I said smiling a bit. And that was when I saw it again, his golden smile that could move mountains. Fuck, I melted right then and there when he flashed his perfect smile. "Thanks so much Nick." He said.

A silence fell upon us. It wasn't an awkward silence though, it was just this silence of...relief I guess. Alex and I just smiled at each other. If you saw us, you would think we're dating (hehe).

"So I was thinking." Alex said, "Maybe we can spend Friday after school at my house? Just to hang out?"

I did not hesitate any further. "Sounds great! I'll just message you." I said. "Cool! Well, I'm sorry if this was pretty quick but I really gotta go." He said as he stood up which made me stand up instinctively. We gave each other a friendly hug and bade goodbye. I went home with a smile on my face. _

The next morning I went to the gym to work out since it was Saturday. Afterwards, I texted Cara if she wanted to meet at Starbucks to chat for a while.

"So Alex and I met yesterday." I told her smiling as I took a sip of my coffee. "WHAT? REALLY? TELL ME EVERYTHING!" She said a bit too loudly causing some customers to look at us. I laughed, "Relax, it was just a pretty quick meet-up." "What did you guys talk about though?" She asked. "Well, we cleared some things up and we decided to start over again." I said, "He wants me to go to his house next Friday after school."

"No fucking way?? Oh my god Nick!" Cara said with a beaming smile, "That's great!" I totally agreed with Cara, I was definitely looking forward to spending time with Alex. "Oh wait, this isn't a sleepover right?" Cara asked. "Uhm no, why?" I asked her back. Cara leaned forward and softened her voice as if she was going to share some juicy gossip. "Well, don't tell him I told you but...Alex can get a bit too 'playful'" She said, putting quotation marks on the word, playful.

I kinda knew that from the beginning though. I mean, he did kiss me on the second day we met right? "Alright, I'll try avoiding getting too physical with him." I said as we both giggled. _

Fast forward to Thursday after school, I went home and saw my parents conversing in the kitchen. I had one shot to ask permission from them so they would allow me to go to Alex's tomorrow.

Now, the thing about my parents is that, they know I'm gay, I came out to them two years ago and they were pretty okay with it since they wanted me to be comfortable with my own identity. It was pretty sweet of them to accept me and I was really grateful to have folks like them. The only problem with them is that once I came out, they've become a bit...overprotective of me. I assume it was because they didn't want me to get bullied in school and all that.

Asking for their permission to go to a friend's house took days of strategic planning and practice, I had to practice what to say and what to reason out (it's pretty funny huh?). So anyways, I went to the kitchen and greeted them with a kiss. "So I was wondering if I could go out tomorrow?" I said, carefully lining up what to say next in my head. "To where?" My dad asked. "A friends house, in Green Meadows." (I had to be specific to avoid further unnecessary questions). "Who friend sweetie?" Mom asked (just as expected). I took a deep breath, what I was about to tell them might be a handful. "Alex Ricci. I met him during the seminar and he was also alone representing his school, he's from LHS. We ended up being partnered together and we got along pretty well. He just wants to hang-out cause he thought I was pretty cool." My parents both smirked. "Green Meadows is pretty far, son." My dad said frowning a bit. This was when I began to reason out. "You don't have to drive me dad, I'll just take an Uber." I said.

Then my mom asked, "Is this a sleepover, dear?" I shook my head no, "He just wants to hang out the rest of the afternoon until...evening, I guess." My parents discussed among themselves for a while, deliberating whether they would allow me or not. "Okay, we'll allow you but dad will pick you up at 8pm." Mom finally said. That sounds good to me, I didn't bargain. "Alright, thanks mom and dad!" I said as I went to my room and immediately messaged Alex.

Nick: Hey!

Alex: Heyy

Nick: Soo is tomorrow still pushing through?

Alex: Of course! Haha did your parents allow you?

Nick: Yep!

Alex: Great! See you tomorrow then

Alex then sent me his address which I saved on my phone's notes. I really couldn't help but smile. I was really looking forward to seeing him tomorrow. It would be good for the both of us to...reconnect. _

The next day, I walked home as fast as I could (I live pretty near my school). I took a quick shower, brushed my teeth and fixed my hair. I went for a casual laid-back look. I had on a gray shirt which showed off my lean build, black shorts and white shoes (yeah, I'm a neutral colors kind of guy). Once I felt satisfied with how I looked, I booked an Uber ride and headed for Alex's house.

True enough, Green Meadows was pretty far from my house. The area was a suburban residence home to large houses. When the Uber car stopped in front of this huge modern house, I had to double check if it was the right address. Damn, Alex was rich hahaha.

I rang the doorbell and heard someone approaching the gate. The gate opened and I saw Alex with a smile on his face. "Hey!" Alex said excitedly as he gave me a quick hug. He closed the gate and led me to inside his house. Fucking hell, his house was unreal. It was beautiful, the interior, the color, the structure, everything about it was just splendid. "Why hello there! You must be Nick?" I heard a woman's voice say. I looked behind me and saw a tall, gorgeous woman who looked awfully familiar.

And that was when it hit me. Standing in front of me was no other than Natalia Ricci, a known Filipina fashion designer. How was I so dumb not to ask Alex that the first moment we met? My jaw dropped as I felt so starstruck by her presence. "Uhm Nick, my mom. Mom, Nick." He said as his mom reached out her hand so I could shake it.

Nervously, I shook her hand, "I...uh...it's nice to meet you uhh...Mrs. Ricci." Alex's mom laughed, "Oh please, Nick, call me Tita!" (For those who don't know, Tita means Aunt in Tagalog). "I'll just be in the kitchen to prepare you boys some food. Alex, you can show Nick around if you want." She said and left to go to the kitchen.

"Follow me." Alex said as he began to go upstairs. "What the hell dude!?" I said, stopping Alex in his path. Alex looked at me with a confused smile "What?" He said. "You didn't tell me your mom was THE Natalia Ricci!" I said grabbing his broad shoulders shaking him a bit. "I thought you already knew." Alex said laughing, "Now come on, I wanna show you around."

Alex showed me most of the rooms of his house. He showed me the den, the study, his mom's studio and the roofdeck. It immediately became my dream house.

"So, you wanna go to my room?" Alex asked. "Yeah sure!" I said with smile. He led me to the end of a hallway and opened the door to his spacious room. It complimented the overall design of the rest of the house, neutral patterns, minimalist design and modern furniture. I walked around his room looking at his stuff as if it was a museum exhibit. Piece by piece, I got a rough idea of what kind of stuff Alex was into.

He seemed to be really into the art of cinema, and photography. God, he was an artist, what could make Alex Ricci better?

Eventually, Alex and I ended up sitting on his bed, conversing about various things. We got to know each other even better and it felt so good to reconnect with him. After an hour and a half though, we ran out of stuff to talk about and the dreaded awkward silence fell upon us. Luckily, Alex's mom brought up some food for us to eat. Alex then suggested that we watch a movie which I gladly agreed to.

Alex put on some film I've never heard of. Apparently it was a local indie film that won many prestigious international awards. We ate and watched and talked all at the same time, basically just enjoying each other's company. There were times though when I would get distracted and instead of watching the film, I would watch Alex watch the film. He was really surreal to be so close to somebody like him, he was the most beautiful boy I ever met and he had the most charming personality.

Once the film ended, I checked the time and saw that it was already 7:30pm. Dad would be here to pick me up in half an hour. Sigh. Why do all good things come to an end? "Dude have you seen the rain outside? It's crazy." Alex said as he peeked through his curtains. I looked outside and saw the heavy downpour.

Then my phone rang, it was my mom.

"Hello?" I answered. "Hi sweetie. Is Alex with you?" Mom asked. "Uhm yeah." I said as Alex and I looked at each other. "Let me talk to him." She said which got me really confused. "Uhhh okay." I said as I handed the phone to Alex. Alex panicked when I was handing him the phone but he grabbed it anyway and talked to my mom. "Hi Mrs. Valencia!" Alex told my mom. I couldn't really understand what they were talking about since all Alex was replying was, "Okay. Alright. Of course. No, it's not a problem." Seriously, what was up??

"Alright, hold on." Alex said then he mouthed the words, "follow me" as he left his room. I followed him downstairs and saw his mom was in the kitchen preparing some dinner. "Uh mom, Nick's mom wants to talk to you." Alex said as he handed my phone to his mom. Holy shit, he handed my phone to Natalia Ricci hahaha.

"Hello?" Alex's mom said. I wonder if my mom was aware that she was conversing with one of the country's top fashion designers haha. "Yes, this is his mom. No, it's not a problem at all. Yeah, the rain is really strong. I can only imagine the traffic outside. Alright, no problem." Alex's mom said then she handed me my phone back.

"Hello mom?" I said. "First thing's first, did I just talk to Natalia Ricci?" Mom asked which made me laugh, "Yep, you just did." I said. "Oh goodness. Okay, well, this rain is really terrible and the news said it won't be stopping anytime soon. Your dad is still stuck in EDSA (the city's highway notorious for it's heavy traffic) and it will take him hours to pick you up so I asked Mrs. Ricci if you could stay over for the night."

I nearly dropped my phone. Holy shit, I was staying over at Alex Ricci's house. "Uhm, yeah that's alright, mom." I said. "Alright, sweetie. Take care alright? And do not forget to thank Mrs. Ricci." She reminded me. "Okay mom, bye. Love you." I said as I hung up.

Alex and I looked at each other. "Looks like you're spending the night." Alex said with a smirk. "I guess so." I said, "Too bad I wasn't able to bring any clothes."

Alex looked at me surprised, "What? Dude, I-I'll lend you a fresh pair!" Alex said with a smile. "Aw you don't have to, Alex. I can sleep in these clo-" "No no no! I'll lend you some clothes, don't worry." He persisted.

The rain just got harder. Holy shit, I was going to spend the night with Alex Ricci. Pinch me, I must be dreaming. ____________________________________________________________________________
