In front of my eyes is tumbling fur, rolling around the tree filled landscape. She's beautiful, a glorious six foot cougar, with a golden coat and blue green eyes, all mine. And what of the one we are training? Never before have I seen a cat such as him. He's a bit smaller than her, only three quarters my size. White as fresh fallen snow, such a rare beauty, not a dark spot on him and eyes the blue of a midnight sky. Leopard and cougar, rolling together, pouncing, jumping. I should be with them, in the game, but his scent is coming to me from the clearing and I can't help but close my eyes and lift my nose.
I remember the first time I saw him. He took my breath away then just as he does now. His hair the color of sunlight, his eyes the blue of a summer day, and his mouth, oh the taste of his kiss. Of course, I hadn't kissed him then. That had come later.
"Jason."
The voice of my beloved draws me back to the task at hand. No longer the cougar, she kneels down at my face and draws her fingers through the fur of my cheek. I lean into her hand and stare into the eyes of the one that holds my heart. My golden girl. The one I'd dreamt of since the time of my change. Flowing blond hair that drapes down about her hips. Eyes, both the blue of a lover and the green of a witch. I shift to press my lips to hers, to feel and taste the gentleness of her soul. The taste of peaches fills my mouth as she presses in with her tongue.
I would take her right there but for the leopard standing near. Often I've made love to her within the trees, our skin together, bodies molding and limbs entwining in the graceful dance of our passion. But for now, Sean is finished with his lessons and wishes to return to his mate.
The breeze comes in and carries with it the scents and sounds from the clearing beyond the trees. The scents of elves, of witches, of the tiger, and of...Aeron. I feel the shiver as it courses through my body, the heat as my desire grows, and again, I lift my nose to the air.
Megan understands the passion that burns in my blood. After all, it burns in her as well. He is her lover. But could he also be mine?
We begin to walk together to the edge of the trees. Megan and I will need to shift again. More for the comfort of those around us than for ourselves. Being without clothing doesn't much matter to a shape shifter.
Before shifting, Megan puts her hand on my chest and reaches up to my lips. His scent caresses my mind as her breath mingles with mine. I can feel my body pulse with need, but she breaks away and backs up.
"Wait here."
A shimmer, and she is the cougar. I watch them as they start for the clearing again. She is very casual, relaxed in her gait. Sean, however, is not. His need for his mate is becoming very evident as he issues a roar and bounds out into the clearing. I can see those in the clearing well as the black tiger snaps his head up and three of the elves leap to his back. Shaking my head, I have to smile at their attempt. Elves weigh nothing to the tiger and he shakes them off without a thought. I watch as the tiger shifts and waits for his mate. Sean can not be held back now. With a mighty leap he flies through the air, shifting en route and lands in his lovers embrace.
Beside them, Aeron stares into the trees and I groan as the blood within my veins begins to boil.
Golden sunlight cascades around him, caresses him, shines through him. He is beautiful beyond compare. Surrounded by the beauty of elves, he still outshines them. This changeling, only half elf outshines the most beautiful creatures in the world. His mother must have been a goddess in the elven lands that poured her beauty into her only son. And what kind of man must his father have been for her to leave the land and join him at sea.
I'm transfixed by his form, standing there, staring in at me, though I know he can't see past the shadows, can't see my eyes staring back at him. He never turns his gaze away as Megan comes close and whispers into his ear. I see the subtle shiver as he starts to move. He's walking, eyes never straying, coming in to me.
My legs grow shaky as I see him get closer and I lean against a tree. God, what he does to me, with just his look, his scent, his taste. How could Megan have chosen me over him? He's only five feet away when he stops and looks into my eyes.
"Jason? What?s going on? Megan said you were waiting in here for me."
My eyes travel along his perfect body. Lean, supple, elegant in his silk shirt and cream cotton pants. A smile flits across my lips as I look at his bare feet. They look so delicate, but I know better. His skin is like silk to the touch but tough as leather to pierce. The blood is pulsing through me and I see that he is also in a state of arousal. Could it be that he also wants me?
I beckon him with a finger to come closer. He shivers, his long, slender fingers trembling, and comes within a foot of my chest. Breathing in, I smell the spice of elf scent, cloves, cinnamon, allspice, and with it the richness of human blood. This in itself is enough to make me yearn for him, but I know there is so much more. I've tasted his soul in the breath of his kiss. Chocolate, rich and sweet. What does his skin taste like? What does his seed taste like?
"Jason?"
I reach behind his neck and slip the tie from his hair, letting it fall loosely through my fingers and finally find my voice.
"You're like a beam of sunlight shining through on a cloud filled day. It surrounds you, molds itself to you, caresses your skin." My finger strokes along his cheek, bringing a flush to his face. "You take by breath away."
I can hold off no longer. Reaching into his hair, I pull him to my mouth. I want his breath. Pushing through his lips, my tongue seeking entrance, I moan with the ecstasy of his taste when he opens up and slides his tongue into my waiting mouth. I pull him tighter to me, feeling his heart race against my chest and his hands slide along my waist, up my back. My skin is on fire from his touch.
He gasps as I move to his ear. So sensitive the ears of an elf, so nice that this also was passed to him. I linger at his ear, tracing it with my tongue, until pulling the lobe in between my lips. He is shuddering now, moaning as my fingers move to unbutton the silk covering his chest.
"Oh god, Jason. You're driving me mad."
Open, I slide the shirt off, away from his skin, and drop it at our feet. My hands seem to have a life of their own as they slide along every contour, every ridge, every valley of the lithe muscular form beneath them. Releasing his ear, my tongue traces on down his throat. His skin tastes like honey, so sweet and smooth. On to his bare chest, to first one nipple, then the next. His hands reach into my hair as his back arches. Tiny little whimpers escape him as I open his pants and slide them down his wondrously long legs.
He tastes so good. As my mouth works its way lower, kissing, licking, nipping his skin, I lift his feet one at a time from his pants, inserting myself between them, bracing him to me and take him into my mouth.
He's gasping now. "Jason...oh, Jason...too much...aah."
I want to taste him but just can't resist a little tease. Backing away, so only my lips and tongue touch him, I whisper, "Too much? Shall I stop?"
I know I won't, and happily take him back as he thrusts himself forward. He's lost in me now, hips rocking, fingers locked into my hair, moving, thrusting, pumping himself into my mouth. I hold tight when his body goes rigid and pull the seed from him. It slides down my throat in creamy ribbons. But I want to taste him. Pulling away, still sucking, I let his seed linger on my tongue. Caramel.
When he is dry, I pull my mouth away and look up as his eyes close. Down he falls, into my waiting arms. As I sit and cradle him in my lap, all I can think is, "Wow, he tastes really good."
When his clear blue eyes open and stare up at me, my breath catches in my throat. My god but he's beautiful.
"Better?" I grin when Aeron just stares back wide-eyed. "You wouldn't believe how long I?ve wanted to do that. Since the first time I saw you walk into the clearing. God, you're beautiful." Smooth silk under my fingers as I move his hair back from his face. "As beautiful as a sunny day. I still find it hard to see why she chose me instead of you."
My eyes close when he lifts a finger to my lips. Electricity flows through me at the brush of it against my mouth. I open my mouth and pull his finger in.
A shudder and a sigh as he asks, "Why? Would you have chosen differently than you did?"
Catching his hand in mine before he can drop it, I bring it to my nose and then to my lips. "Mmm. Your skin is so sweet, like fresh honeycomb." I want his lips again, the chocolate of his breath.
But he's right, I wouldn't have chosen any different. Megan is my life-mate. She has been for the last four years. I answer, "No, but I would keep you as my lover," and raise him back to my mouth, running my tongue along his lips, demanding entry. He doesn?t fail to disappoint.
When I move to his ear, he gasps. "Jason, you?re killing me here."
"Mmm, you want me to stop?" My tongue slides down to his throat.
"Yes...No...Yes." He pushes at my chest. Okay, I can stop for a second, so I sit up, resting Aeron into the crook of my arm.
"So what is it? No? or Yes?"
"Too much, I can't think. God, Jason, what you do to me. First Megan, now you. How am I ever going to survive the two of you?" He rolls out of my lap and shakes his head. "How am I going to survive without the two of you?"
"Oh, hold on there." I pull him back into my lap. "You're not leaving, are you?"
"That's not what I mean. When we?re done here, the two of you will go on with your lives. Why would you want me around?"
"Why would we...Aeron, what are you thinking?" Oh my god, his scent drives me crazy. I can feel my blood rising, heating my very core. "You really think we won't want you? My god, you're all we think about. You're all I think about." He begins to whimper when my breath hits his ear. "You need proof? Round two, then we get Megan."
