Accepted Part 3

I laid there in Marks arms, sleeping away, his breath on my face smelled like peppermint. Then I had a dream about the first day we met:

I was in a local star bucks reading a novel from the adjoining Barnes and Noble Bookstore. I took a sip of my coffee then, when I put it down, I saw three football players from another school walk in.

_

`oh shit' I thought as they walked by me. Then one of them knocked my coffee onto the floor and coughed the word

"faggot"

"Hey" said one of the taller guys with him "Get you're ass over there and buy him another coffee"

"Hell No" the guy said "I aint wasting my money on some faggot from south central!"

The taller guy jerked the guy by the collar of his shirt and said

"Get over there and buy him another one"

"Jesus!" said the other guy as he walked over to the counter.

I remained quiet during this escapade due to the shock that someone was taking up for me. The guy walked over and sat the coffee on my table and muttered an apology.

When the got their drinks and turned to leave the taller guy told them he would catch up with them later. Then he walked over to me.

"Can I join you?" he asked.

"Sure" I said, a bit nervous.

"I'm sorry about what happened, I just want you to know that they are not my friends. We just came here to get coffee for the team since it was getting a but chilly outside."

"It's okay" I said, staring at my book.

"No" he said "It's not okay and I want to make it up to you. The name is Mark by the way"

"I'm Jackson, but call me Jack, or Jay"

"Ok., well what are you doing tonight?" he asked me.

"Nothing that I can think of" I said

"Good" Mark said "Ill pick you up at seven o'clock, just give me your cell number, so you can give me directions."

I gave him my number and he gave me his.

"Can I ask a question?" I said, noticing he was getting ready to leave.

"Sure" he said.

"You're gay right?"

"Yes" I am "You?"

"I'm bi, but I lean more towards guys"

"Good News for me then" he said, smiling.

"I guess it is"

"Ill see you later" he said, smiling and getting up and leaving, he winked at me from the door and I waved.

"Get `em tiger" said a voice behind me. I turned around and saw Stacie, a friend of mine who works in the Barnes and Noble, who is also bi sexual.

"Thanks beastie" I said, using my nickname for her.

"Anytime babe" She told me, using her `special' nick name for me.

"Invite me to the wedding" she said, punching my arm.

Then she left to go get the 12 year olds away from the porn. I finished my coffee, got up and put the book on the counter so that Stacie could save it for me and left.

On the way home, I thought about what was going to happen with Mark.

It was 4:30, so I had 2 and a half hours to get ready, which wasn't near enough time, but I hoped I could manage.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

By 6:45 I had gotten my shower, dried off, found a decent pair of clothes (a button up the front blue shirt, with a pair of light blue jeans and a pair, of dressier looking shoes), and styled my hair how I liked it, combed to the side so that my bangs were over my left eye. I looked pretty damn hot, if I do say so myself.

Then I heard the doorbell ring and rushed downstairs to open the door.

When I opened the door, I about fainted. Mark looked amazing, his black hair was so sexy, and his tattoos were visible under his thin white long sleeved shirt. I had two tattoos, and he one that I could see, barbed wire on his bi-cep.

"You ready?" he asked

"You bet!" I said, closing and locking the door behind me.

Mark lead me to his car and opened the door for me, I blushed and got in.

"So" Mark said "I have reservations at the new restaurant on fifty-third street"

"No way!" I said "It's impossible to get in there!"

"Well I made the impossible possible didn't I?" Mark asked, smiling.

I was excited, 53rd street was only a hop, skip and a jump from the beach.

"Mark?" I asked

"Yeah?"

"Why did you take me out tonight?"

"Because" he said "You seem like an awesome person, your kind, sweet, sexy, and smart"

"No I'm not" I said.

"Yes Jay, you are!" Mark said

" If you say so" I said

"I do" Mark said, smiling like a small child.

I laughed and punched his arm.

We pulled up at the restaurant and Mark opened the dorr for me once again.

"Shall we?" he said.

"Sure"

We walked in and I was astounded, it was HUGE, I felt really underdressed, but Mark was less dressed up than me.

The host sat us at a table in the back, since Mark requested it that way.

We sat at the table after we ordered our food and just talked about things we liked, things we had in common, then Mark reached over and put his hand on mine, and smiled at me.

I smiled back at him and then our food came.

We ate quickly then Mark, as if he read my mind, led me out to the beach.

He took my hand and I looked at him,

"You don't mind do you?" he asked

"No Mark" I said "I don't mind at all"

He smiled and we talked about music while we walked, we liked a lot of the same things like, Britney Spears, and things of that nature.

Then after we were back in the car, Mark held my hand all the way to my house.

When we pulled up in the drive, he leaned over, trying to kiss my cheek but I turned his lips touched mine. My hand went to the back of his head, and I pulled him closer to me. He pulled back and smiled, I kissed him one more time then got out of the car. I watched him back out, then went up to room and fell asleep with a smile on his face.

Well I hoped you liked this, this was my favorite chapter so far, I felt like it would be a good time to share how Jack and Mark met. Email me with Comments Criticism or whatever at dogkid509@yahoo.com
